The perfect peace we have in trusting our GOD!

Our awesome GOD loves each one us and HE wants the very best life for each one of us.  HE grieves with us when we grieve.  HE rejoices with us when we rejoice.  HE is our rock in times of trouble and HE is the giver of all things and our CREATOR.

So the perfect peace that we experience only comes to each one of us when we put all our trust in GOD and HIS perfect plan for our lives. 

This peace transcends all understanding and this is not just a literal meaning.  It means that when we place all of trust in the One True GOD, we experience absolute perfect peace.  We no longer worry about what we will eat or where we will live.  We no longer worry about the clothes we wear or the car we drive.  It means that we trust in GOD for everything and we know that HE knows best.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, today I promise to put all my trust in YOU.  I will no longer worry about the mundane things of this world, I will trust YOU implicitly.  YOU know best what is good for my life LORD.  I pray all of this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The perfect peace of trusting GOD!

There is a perfect peace in trusting in our FATHER GOD.  GOD has us covered in all events.  It does not mean that we cannot have an accident or that bad things will not happen to us.  What it does do though, is give us the peace of mind of knowing that our wonderful FATHER in Heaven is always there for us and with us.

GOD loves each one of us and HE is always with us whether or not we know it or not.  To have a relationship with GOD takes the stress factor out of our lives.  Before we set off on a journey we need to pray.  Before we go into a meeting we need to pray.  Before we interact with our families or our children or, indeed our friends we need to pray.  Pray to our FATHER in Heaven and ask HIM to guide us and be with us.

This gives us the peace of mind that we have GOD with us always.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU that YOU are always with me.  I thank YOU that I can rely on YOU and trust YOU to be with me every step of the way.  No matter where I am or what I am doing, I know that YOU are with me.  I humbly ask FATHER, that YOU always bless me and keep.  I pray all of this in the Holy name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Trust God!

GOD wants us to trust in HIM for everything we need.  This does not mean that we should give up doing for ourselves.  What it means is that we should rely on GOD to provide for us as HE thinks we need.

Watch the birds building their nests.  Then note that they do not sit and ponder for days whether to build East facing, South facing, or West.  They build.  And they trust GOD. 

This also does not always protect them as sometimes their nests get blown down or rained down or broken down.  They just rebuild and trust GOD

What a fantastic example for us to follow.  GOD will give us all the where with all to do everything for ourselves if we will just trust in HIM.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU today that I can rely on YOU.  I trust YOU completely FATHER to look after all my needs.  I humbly ask that YOU give me the strength of character to do YOUR will and not mine.  I pray this in the Holy name of my Redeemer, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD is light!

GOD created light on earth.  However when we think of GOD and every appearance of GOD on this earth this is associated with light.  HUGE bright lights, people falling flat on their faces and not being able to stand in the presence of GOD.  

I personally have two people very close to me who have experienced a visit by Jesus and they speak of a bright warm buttercup yellow light filling the room.  Then a huge feeling of being loved and love entering the room.  And warmth.  

We can only imagine that one day when we finally meet with GOD that there will be light.  Lots of it.  Bright and yellow and warm.

Let us strengthen our relationship with our FATHER in Heaven.  Let us pick up our Bibles and read HIS word today.  Let us fall to our knees and pray to HIM.  For HE is light.  HE is love and HE is our FATHER in Heaven.

Prayer:  Omniscient, Omnipotent, Omnipresent, GOD, ABBA FATHER.  How I love YOU.  YOU are my whole world and without YOU I am nothing.  FATHER today I pray that YOU give me my daily bread.  I pray that YOU forgive my sins as I forgive those who sin against me.  I pray all this in the name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Wisdom

James the brother of Jesus tells us that if any of us should lack wisdom we only need to ask GOD and it will be given unto us generously.  This reminds me of the story of King Solomon who asked only for wisdom to be able to govern the people of Isreal impartially and with discernment.

Sometimes when are our prayers are not being answered, perhaps it is because we are asking for the wrong things. 

Let us go to the Bible our manual for daily living and see what we should ask for.  Then go down on our kneed to our wondrous, generous FATHER in Heaven and ask for the right things.  Let us ask for things that are GOD's will to give us and not for things that we think that we might need.  Let us walk in GOD's plan for our lives and not try to fit GOD into our very small lives.

Surely our GOD is far to big for our small lives.  However, HE loves us and HE wants a relationship with each one of us and HE wants us to know that we are always loved!

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, thank YOU that YOU give good gifts to YOUR children.  FATHER today I pray for wisdom to be able to sort out the problems that I think I have in my life.  I pray this in the glorious name of my Lord and Saviour, my Redeemer, Jesus Christ.

GOD is love!

GOD loves you and me and HE loves us because not only did HE create us,  (Psalm 139:13), HE made us unique.  HE made us in HIS image and we are HIS children.

What a privilege to be called children of this magnificent, wonderful, omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent GOD.

Therefore let us return the love of GOD to HIM today.  Draw closer to GOD.  Speak to HIM in prayer and petition.  Speak to HIM about your life and tell HIM your thoughts and your offer HIM your prayers.  Read HIS word and listen for HIS voice.  You will hear GOD speaking to you.  And no it is not your own voice, GOD can talk to us through our own thoughts and our own voices and through media and through billboards and through friends and even through strangers.

GOD loves us!  Celebrate this wonderful gift!

Prayer:  My Heavenly FATHER in Heaven, I thank YOU that YOU made me in YOUR image.  I thank YOU that I am unique and I thank YOU that I am loved by YOU.  FATHER I love YOU and I want a living relationship with YOU.  I pray this in the Holy name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

God - our Rock!

GOD is our Rock on whom we can always depend.  No matter what the circumstances or the situations, GOD is entirely trustworthy and dependable.  

Living in these times gives rise to all sorts of trials and tribulations.  Each one of us have our troubles no matter how wonderful our lives look to people looking in.  

However we have the privilege of serving a LIVING, LOVING entirely dependable GOD.  HE is ALWAYS with us even if we do not feel HIS presence.

Today let us make an effort!  Pick up a Bible and read a passage.  Then get down on our knees and talk to to our FATHER in Heaven.  HE will listen and HE wants a personal, unique relationship with each one of us.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER, YOU who knows each and every hair on my head.  Today I humbly ask FATHER that YOU hear my prayers and that YOU are listening to me.  I ask, FATHER, that YOU show me how to be YOUR child on earth.  I pray this in the name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The Bible is GOD breathed!

In the Book of Timothy, we are quite clearly told that the Scriptures are GOD breathed and are useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.  However, the word of GOD is a far more important tool in communicating with GOD.

When we read the word of GOD every day, we start to notice that we are not in a "random" place in the Bible.   Rather it is what GOD wants to tell us or show us or teach us that is the place where we will find ourselves in the Bible.

It is a really good habit to read the Bible at a set time every day.  Let us make the time to pick up our Bibles and to read them.  Let us listen for the word of GOD in the Scriptures and let us find meaning to our lives in what GOD has planned for each and every one of us.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU that I am free to read my Bible every day.  Please FATHER I pray today that YOU will start a conversation with me in my daily readings.  I want to hear what YOU have to tell me.  I pray this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD's word!

"GOD's word is sweeter than honey to my mouth".  So wrote King David.  And so it should be.  We should never doubt the power and sweetness of GOD talking to us through HIS word.

Today let us read our Bibles and savour the sweetness of GOD talking to us directly through HIS book, the Bible.  GOD inspired and GOD breathed.

Let us draw close to GOD in prayer and ask HIM to talk to us and tell us what HIS divine plan is for our lives.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD.  Please talk to me today through YOUR word.  Tell me what YOUR plan is for my life and how I can walk in YOUR ways.  I humbly ask this in the name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Make Disciples!

Children of the LIVING GOD, we are called on to go out and make disciples of ALL men and women.  We are asked to baptize them in the name of the FATHER and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. 

But this is easier said than done.  How do we go out and make disciples?  Well the simplest way is to go to the source of this commandment.  GOD our Heavenly FATHER.  We need to ask GOD to give us opportunities to make disciples.

We also need to understand what we are doing and for that to happen, we need a living real relationship with GOD.

So today let us pick up our Bibles and read them.  Let us pray to GOD and ask HIM to help us to get into a truly meaningful relationship with HIM.

And HE will open the doors for us to go out to make disciples of men and women. 

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER let me please go out and make disciples of men and women.  Give me an opportunity to reach out and baptize someone in the name of the FATHER and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.  I humbly pray this in the Holy name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Why Worry!

Hello faithful followers of GOD.  Once again I apologise for the lack of blogs but I went on holiday.  I have missed you all and I continue to pray for everyone who visits my blog.  I would also love to hear your comments.  So please feel free to hit on the button and comment.

GOD is our FATHER in Heaven and HE wants the very best life for us all.  Therefore today, as children of the Living GOD let us resolve to give all our cares and worries over to this ENORMOUS GOD of ours.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU for YOUR grace and undeserving love that I get from YOU.  FATHER today I hand you all my cares and worries.  I am too small and not able to deal with them FATHER.  However I know that YOU can deal with them.  I pray this in the beautiful name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

God loves us!

GOD loves each one of us and in the Book of Corinthians, that love is described in the most beautiful manner.

Love is Patient.  Love is kind.  This is the love that our awesome GOD gave each one of us to give freely to anyone as we are given it by HIM.

Love does not envy.  It is does not boast.  It is not proud.  It does not dishonour others.  It is not easily angered.  It keeps no record of wrong doings.

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices in the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

LOVE never FAILS and neither does our GOD.  Our GOD is love!

Prayer: Heavenly Lovingly FATHER GOD.  I thank YOU for love in my life.  I thank YOU that YOU love me and that I can love others in the same manner.  FATHER, show me how to love exactly the way it is described above.  Show me how to never boast but be loving and kind.  I pray this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay Gloriously GOD blessed today.  

The Glory will be revealed to us.

In Romans Paul writes that the sufferings that he is enduring will be nothing compared to the Glory that will be revealed.

How true this is.  With all our trials and tribulations on this earth, we spend so much time dwelling on, perhaps, instead, we should be contemplating the Glory of the Lord that we shall one day see.

Let us start today and consider the beautiful world that GOD created for us and the HE has shared with us.  Consider then, how much more beautiful the Kingdom of Heaven will be.

Store up treasures in Heaven through being kind, humble generous, helpful and forgiving. 

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU for this magnificent world that YOU gave me to live in.  I thank YOU for YOUR grace and love.  I pray FATHER that I may do good unto others.  I pray for the forgiveness of my sins as I forgive those who sin against me.  I pray all of this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Seek the Kingdom of GOD first!

When we hunt down treasures on earth and forget to seek the Kingdom of GOD first our lives go into freefall.  Things suddenly fall apart.  Our plans seem to be thwarted everywhere.

However, if we seek the Kingdom of GOD first and HIS righteousness, when we go to GOD about everything, then we allow GOD to work in our lives.  

Let us draw near to the awesome GOD of ours and seek HIS righteousness.  Let us be kind and gentle and humble and good and let us dwell on our life eternal with GOD.  Let us read GOD's word and meditate on it.  Then let us live our lives and we will see the difference.

GOD's plans are perfect.  Ours are fallible.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU that I can seek YOUR righteousness first and that YOU are gracious and loving towards me.  I pray FATHER that I do YOUR will and that YOU grant me YOUR grace.  I pray this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Let us put our hope in the unfailing love of GOD!

GOD loves us as we are.  With all our faults and with all our eccentricities.  HE wants the best for each one of us.  However, HE gave us each free will and we can do as we please on earth.

In Psalms however, we learn that the eyes of GOD are on those who fear HIM.  Let us learn to right size our magnificent FATHER in Heaven.  Let us learn to fear HIS ways and walk in the ways HE desires for us.

Today let us be loving, and gentle and kind and giving and forgiving.  Let us be true children of the LIVING GOD.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU that I can fear YOU and that I can know YOUR enormous grace.  I ask YOU FATHER that YOU show me where I can be kind and humble and gentle and giving.  I pray this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour.  Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Apology

Dearest Children of GOD

I apologise for the lack of blogs during the past few days.  The influenza attacked me and knocked me flat on my back with a high fever.  I have not been able to be up for more than a few minutes at a time.

I believe that GOD has a plan and that HIS plan is perfect.  So perhaps HE wanted me to have a time to rest and reflect and regroup.  I will be back on track during the week I am sure. 

In the meantime, I continue to pray for all of you who read my blog and I know that YOU are all well loved by our FATHER in Heaven.
