When a Christian dies!

 It is always sad for all of us in the earthly world to lose a loved one, a friend, an acquaintance, or even a member of our Christian community.

But if we are believers, then we know that if the person who has passed on was a Christian, then they have not died, but have gone on to their eternal home to be with Jesus.

So today again, in our Christian community, we lost someone that we were praying for.  I instantly felt the loss, but then we learned that the person was a believer and I felt better.  I felt comforted knowing that one of the co-heirs with Jesus Christ had returned to his home in heaven.

With Covid being a reality of our world, we are learning of friends, family and children of GOD all getting this disease and then dying from it.

What we need to do is pray for those remaining.  Comfort those remaining and see if we can just speak to them.  But most of all what we need to do is to thank GOD for the lives of those who have gone on.

We need to give thanks to our FATHER in all things. But especially for the lives we have enjoyed on earth. Life is a gift.

In all things we need to give thanks.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU for the gift of life, of love, of family and friends.  I thank YOU for everything that YOU give us especially the life we have to live on earth.  It is a privilege to serve YOU. I pray this all in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Effective Prayer!

 When we pray to GOD, we have a format that Jesus gave to us and it really works.

We need to open our prayer with asking GOD to hear us 

"Our FATHER who art in Heaven".  Then we need to give glory to GOD 

"Hallowed be THY name".  We then ask GOD for HIS will to be done rather than ours. 

"THY kingdom come, THY will be done on earth as it is in Heaven".

We move along from there, having given GOD our will and accepting that HIS will be done rather than ours.

Next comes 

"Give us this day our daily bread" accepting that all things come from GOD. 

And then comes the important thing.  

"Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us."  

Unless we ask GOD to forgive us, we are not automatically forgiven and it is no good to ask GOD to forgive us and we are holding grudges.  So let go of your grudges and anger at this point of our prayers.

"Lead us not into temptation".  Probably the most important part of praying is to ask GOD and the Holy Spirit to protect us from ourselves and sinful natures.

"But deliver us from evil".  Really important asking GOD to help us in our earthly struggle against satan and his evil intentions.

And then we move back to GOD

"For THINE is the power and the glory," All glory to GOD

" foirever and ever."

"Amen"- so let it be.

So if you are struggling with your prayers, then just pray the "OUR FATHER".  It contains everything you need to make your prayers powerful and effective.  

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER thank YOU for Jesus who taught us how to pray.  FATHER today hear my prayers. I humbly ask this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Spread the Gospel to the ends of the earth!

Once we have accepted that we are sinners.  Once we believe that Jesus is our Redeemer and that He overcame death so that we might have eternal life in Heaven and once we confess this truth with our mouths, we are filled with the Holy Spirit.  He comes to live in us and He directs our paths.

We are called upon to witness.  Witness that which we know to be the truth.  Jesus is the only way to get to Heaven.  We simply cannot go about thinking that we are "good" people.

Good works will not get us into Heaven.  Only Jesus and it is our purpose to get others to know the truth.

It is so important that Jesus charged His disciples to become fishers of men.

Jesus left and in His place He gave us  the Holy Spirit.  We need to use the power of the Holy Spirit.  We need to tell others that they too can spend eternity in Heaven with our Holy FATHER GOD.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, today, I humbly ask that YOU send me opportunities to witness to others that Jesus is indeed the only way, the only truth and the only life.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

All things work together!

 As I was listening to Chuck Missler today, I was struck about the ending of his video and I am going to put the link in my blog so that you can go and listen to this for yourselves.

What Chuck Missler demonstrates in this video is that nothing in the Bible is accidental or random. And then at the end he challenges us to go out and seek our purpose.

Which brings me to this verse above.  Because, if you are a child of GOD and you know Jesus and you love the LORD with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your strength, you might know what your purpose in life really is.

A long time ago, I discovered that my purpose is evangelism.  I love to talk to people about GOD.  One of the reasons that I write this blog.  But am I doing enough?  That is another question.

So today, I am going to examine myself and find our if I am doing enough.  

It is very clear to me that we are living in the end times.  Perhaps a few days, perhaps a few years or perhaps a decade or two.  But these are definitely the end times.  And as I await the rapture, I would like to challenge anyone reading this.  

Do you know your purpose and if so, are you doing enough.  After all we are GOD's servants here on earth and although we are saved only by and through the grace of GOD, we still need to do our purpose on earth. 

I am convinced that I will give an account of my life to GOD.  No one, not even those who are saved will escape this.  Our sins may be forgiven, but our lives will be accounted for.  .  

So go and watch Chuck Missler and then pray with me and let us see if we are doing enough on this earth for our GOD today.

The Holy Spirit in the beginning!

 The Triune GOD was in the beginning.  GOD the FATHER, GOD the Son and GOD the Holy Spirit.  And we know this because the Bible tells us so.

In the beginning the Spirit of GOD was over the face of the waters!

So was the word.  And the word is Jesus Christ.  Jesus Christ - according to the Gospel of John was in the beginning and the word was GOD and word was in GOD.

And GOD spoke the world into being.  GOD spoke the heavens into being.  And GOD breathed life into man.

Nothing was made except by GOD.  And nothing can only be made by GOD. From nothing.

And this is the awesome GOD we are privileged to call ABBA FATHER.  This is the Son with whom we are co heirs to eternal life with GOD.  This is the Holy Spirit that indwells everyone who calls on the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

If you have not done so today, admit that you are a sinner and that nothing can free you from your sin except a belief that Jesus is the Son of GOD who came to earth and died to wash us clean from our sins.  Then confess this truth to GOD.  You will be filled with the Holy Spirit.

And no!  You do not have to do anything else to be saved.  No amount of good works can save you.  The only way to Heaven with GOD is through Jesus Christ the Son and having been indwelled by the Holy Spirit.

Do it today!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I adore YOU.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and my Saviour, my Redeemer.  I thank YOU today for YOUR enormous grace and favour.  I thank YOU for prayers answered.  Amen.

Freedom in the Holy Spirit!

 We serve a Triune GOD. GOD the FATHER, GOD the Son and GOD the Holy Spirit.  This is unfathomable to most of us.  I certainly battle with this concept.

What I do know is the following.  When we accept Jesus Christ.  When we accept that we are sinners.  And when we confess that we believe this and say it with our mouths, we have the Holy Spirit who comes to live in us.

The Holy Spirit convicts us of our sinful nature.  The Holy Spirit guides us to the right paths if we let it.  The Holy Spirit leads us back to Jesus.

So the above verse says that when we accept Jesus as our Lord and our Saviour, and the Holy Spirit is living in us, we are free.  Free from the guilt of past sin.  Free of the desire to hold onto things of the past and free to move ztowards a loving relationship with our CREATOR FATHER.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU tonight that I am free in the Holy Spirit.  I thank YOU for YOUR grace and favour in sending the Holy Spirit to live in me and to guide me to a life of eternity in YOUR presence.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Pray without ceasing!

 We are to pray constantly about everything.  This is GOD's will for us. 

Once we accept Jesus, we can talk to our FATHER and we can ask for anything.  And I do not mean that we win the lottery or things like that.  It means that Jesus has opened the lines of communication to GOD through the shedding of His blood on the cross for us.

Therefore in our daily lives, we should pray about absolutely everything.  We need to pray for others.  We need to pray for the coming of Jesus on earth.  We need to pray for the Will of our FATHER in Heaven to be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

We need to pray for our food.  We need to pray for our safe passages.  We need to pray about everything.  But most importantly, we need to pray and give thanks to our FATHER for HIS grace and favour.

Prayer;  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU for YOUR grace and Favour.  I thank YOU for all the healing that I have witnessed over the past few weeks.  I pray for all those people who are currently ill with this COVID and I ask that YOU give them YOUR comfort and it is YOUR will that YOU heal them.

I pray all of this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Jesus is preparing for us in Heaven!

Jesus is preparing a place for us in Heaven.  What an absolutely wonderful thought.  Jesus will come back to take the believers - His bride home with Him.  And all who have accepted Jesus will have a place to live in Heaven.

This is so that we can spend eternity with Him and GOD and the Holy Spirit.

But this will only happen if we have accepted Jesus as the Truth, the Life and the Way to GOD.

Today we have to make decisions.  Do we want to spend eternity outside of Heaven?  Or do we wish to spend eternity in a place which our loving FATHER is busy preparing for us?

The choice is simple and eternity is a very long time. 

The time is now to admit that we are sinners. Believe that Jesus is Lord and confess this truth with our mouths.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU.   I know that I am a sinner and I accept the grace of YOUR forgiveness with a truly humble heart.  I pray tonight FATHER that YOU prepare my place in Heaven with you.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  My Lord and my Redeemer. Amen.

No one knows the hour!

 We need to keep watch for the coming of our Lord and our Saviour.  Of one thing I am most convinced it is the Rapture.

I know that Jesus will come in the clouds to fetch firstly those who are "sleeping" - dead, and secondly the Bride - His Church.  Those of us who have accepted Him and are still living on the earth at that time.

This is all true and there is plenty of evidence in the Bible to substantiate these claims.

What no one knows is the hour that this will happen.  And it is why Jesus told His disciples to keep watch.  And that is what we need to do. Keep watch!

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, only YOU know the time that YOU will send Jesus in the clouds.  I pray tonight that whomever reads this and has not yet accepted Jesus may be prompted to do so.  I humbly accept YOUR grace and favour over my life.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The Time is at Hand!

 GOD's gift to us is HIS grace which is given to us in abundance when we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and our Saviour.

The Holy Spirit comes to live in us and we are assured of our eternal life in Heaven.

The time is at hand to accept Jesus.  Please do not delay in accepting Jesus. If you do not know Jesus, take time out and ask people who you know to know Jesus.  Read the Bible.  Ask GOD to give you the wisdom to see into HIS message to all who will have ears and all who have eyes to see.

For there is nothing mysterious about the written word of GOD.  All you have to do is to pray to GOD and then to read and it is surprising how the messages will come out of the pages and into your hearts.

But I would implore you to do it today.  DO not delay.  Accept Jesus Christ today and let the Holy Spirit come and dwell in your heart.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER I would humbly pray that anyone reading this who does not know YOU would find Jesus today.  I pray that they would accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.  I pray this in the Holy name of Jesus Christ.  My Lord and my Saviour.  Amen.

The Rapture

 Behold, the Messiah is coming. He will come in the clouds to fetch His bride.  All those who are dead will rise to meet Him first and then the living believers who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and their Saviour will be changed and will rise up in the clouds to meet Him.

This is going to happen and no one knows the hour or the day.

But I would like you to know, dear reader, that if you have not accepted Jesus at that point, it is too late and you will unfortunately have to go through the tribulation.

So today, I humbly urge you.  Do the ABC of Christianity.

Admit that you are a sinner.  I am a sinner and I know that.

Believe in the Redemption given us through the blood of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary.

Confess this truth with your mouth and be saved now!

I cannot express the urgency.  Please do not tarry for it could be now and it could be in a year.  But do you want to take the chance?

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER. tonight I humbly pray that anyone reading this who has not been saved will feel YOUR presence and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.  FATHER I am a sinner and I beg YOUR grace and favour and YOUR forgiveness.  FATHER I love Jesus Christ as my Lord and  my Saviour.  I confess this truth with my mouth.

I pray all of this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen/

Healing!

 We live in a world which seems to be so broken. We have lost our values and our norms.  And now we are in the midst of a pandemic.

If we were not children of this Mighty FATHER whom we serve, these times would seem impossible. But as servants of our Most High GOD, we know that this signals the end of times.  We know that now more than ever we need to be watchful and vigilant.

For the time draws closer to the coming of Jesus in the clouds when He will appear and remove from the earth all who worship Him.

So at the moment, the most powerful tool we have in our arsenal is prayer.  We need to pray constantly and earnestly.

We need to pray for our brethren who are ill amidst this pandemic.  We need to pray for each other and for those who have suffered hardships financially through no fault of their own.

The amazing thing now is that our prayers seem to be so powerful.  And the more we pray the more powerful our prayers are becoming.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER wethank YOU today for so many prayers answered.  We thank YOU for the people for whom we have prayed who have been healed.  And tonight FATHER we lift up all those who are sick and we pray for them.  We lift up those who need YOUR help.  We know FATHER that you hear our prayers.  FATHER tonight we ask that if it is YOUR will YOU heal all those who are sick.  We ask that you comfort all those who need YOUR comfort.   We pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The promises of GOD

This is the awesome GOD we serve.  Let us today worship and praise our Mighty FATHER in Heaven for HIS enormous grace and favour.  We can trust our FATHER and HIS promises. HE loves you and HE loves me.  And all we have to do, is to love HIM back and accept HIS Son as our Saviour. 

Prayer:  ABBF FATHER I thank YOU today that YOU are so patient with me. I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

 Our GOD is very clear.  Last night I spoke about GOD loving us first.  But GOD wants us to love HIM also.

So how do we show our FATHER how much HE means to us? We keep HIS commandments and HIS decrees.

And in the old Testament we can find over six hundred laws given to the Israelites to keep.  And we have only ten.

This truly shows us how much our FATHER in Heaven loves us. 

And the greatest commandment is that we love the Lord our GOD with all our hearts.  

For expedience, I am posting the ten commandments below. 

1. “You shall have no other gods before me."
2. “You shall not make yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God are only worthy of worship, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments."
3. “You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.
4. “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, or your servant, or your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy."
5. “Honour your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you."
6. “You shall not murder."
7. “You shall not commit adultery."
8. “You shall not steal."
9. “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour."
10. “You shall not covet your neighbour's house; you shall not covet your neighbour's wife, or his male servant, or his female servant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbour's."

If we keep these commandments, we firstly show Our FATHER that we love HIM and secondly it keeps us from hurting others around us.

The Glory of GOD!

 There is nothing that declares the glory of GOD more than the Heavens.  A magnificent sunset, a breathtaking sunrise, the stars on a cloudless night, a new moon, a full moon or watching a storm progress as the clouds roll in.

We serve an awesome GOD.  Nothing compares to HIM.  With all the will in the world, we cannot create or replicate the heavens.  We cannot produce a single drop of rain from the skies.  We cannot make a sunrise or a sunset.  We cannot make a moon or even an asteroid.

In terms of what our CREATOR has made for us, we are really insignificant.  And yet our FATHER loves us!

HE loves us so much that HE sent HIS only Son, Jesus Christ, to live on this earth as a man.  Jesus gave up His Deity and came to earth in His humanity.  He was sinless and yet suffered and died in place of you and I on a cross.  And then, through His deity, He rose from the dead.  And He did so exactly as He said He would.  After three days in the tomb, dead and buried.  This was done so that we might have eternal life with GOD. We are washed clean by the blood of Jesus. 

Jesus ascended into Heaven and He sits at the right Hand of our CREATOR FATHER.  Jesus will judge us.

It is not too late to accept Jesus as our Lord and our Saviour.

A    Admit we are sinners.

B     Believe that Jesus is our Redeemer

C     Confess this truth with our mouths to GOD.

Today, do not wait.  Accept Jesus Christ and have an eternal life in Heaven with GOD and Jesus. 

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU for YOUR magnificent creation.  I thank YOU for the sunrises and the sunsets.  I thank YOU for my life on YOUR beautiful earth.  I thank YOU in the Holy name of Jesus Christ.  My Lord and my Saviour.  Amen.

GOD loved us first!

 "For GOD so loved the world that HE gave HIS only begotten Son that none should perish but that all should have eternal life." John 3:16.

GOD loves us.  GOD gives us a way back to HIM. And it is simple.  

• We can admit that we are sinners.  
• We can accept and believe that Jesus Christ is the Way the Truth and the Life.
• And we can confess this truth with our mouths.   When we do this we are back in a relationship  with GOD.  We can do this and be saved!

We can run back to GOD at any time during our lives.  But once we die, it is too late!

And why did GOD send Jesus ? - Because HE loves us.  And that is why we need to love GOD.!  Because GOD loved us first. 

We have nothing to give to GOD. GOD can create anything HE wants. So when we are giving GOD our time, it is because HE gave us time to give.  When we give GOD money, it is because HE gave us the ability to earn it.  When we give GOD our love, it is because GOD loved us first.

So let us today love the LORD our GOD with all our hearts, with all our strength, with all our minds and with all our souls.  Because HE loved us first!

Prayer: Dearest Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU that YOU loved me first.  Tonight I confess that I love YOU - ABBA FATHER.  I love YOU with all my heart, with all my soul and with all my strength. I pray this in the Holy Name of my Redeemer, my Lord and my Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Prayer Answered!

 Today once again, I witnessed prayers answered.  A friend of ours has had health issues for a few years and this morning it looked as if she had lapsed back all the years of progress. Very quickly she was on a prayer chain.  She was examined by doctors and was found not to have relapsed.

So many times, too many times I have witnessed the power of prayer.  GOD is always listening to us. And if our prayers are in line with HIS will, it will be done!

What we need to do is exactly as Mark says in the verse above.  Pray and believe that we have had our prayers answered.  For our prayers are always answered.  GOD is always with us and HE is always listening.  We might not get what we ask for, but that does not mean our prayers are not heard.  It means that what we have asked for is not in line with what GOD wants for us or our lives.

I would encourage anyone reading this to know that GOD is listening.  GOD hears us.  GOD answers us.  We just sometimes do not know how to read HIS will. KEEP PRAYING!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, today I thank YOU for prayers anwered.  I thank YOU that YOU are always listening to our prayers.  I thank YOU that today, our prayers were in line with YOUR will.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Ask GOD for wisdom!

 James tells us that if we lack wisdom, we should ask GOD to give it to us and HE will give it to us.

I have just finished reading about King Solomon and Solomon was told by GOD to ask for anything that he wanted.  He asked only for wisdom.  And he was given so much wisdom. King Solomon was known as the wisest man who ever lived.

Now in this modern day and age, where we have so many choices about everything, we can turn to our FATHER in Heaven and ask GOD for wisdom.  And James says it will be given to us.

Therefore, when we have to make decisions, let us ask GOD to give us wisdom.  When we read the Bible we should ask GOD for wisdom to understand and to open our eyes to HIS purpose and HIS will for our lives.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER today I pray for wisdom to know YOUR will for my life.  I pray that YOU show me how you want me to live my life and where YOU want me to be.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The word of GOD is alive and active!

 As children of the Living Almighty, all powerful CREATOR GOD, we should be reading HIS word each and every day.  We need to read the Bible not as a history book.  But as GOD speaking to us through HIS word.

The Bible is not a set work book to be used to run to for reference.  Rather let us pray to our Dearest FATHER in Heaven and ask HIM to show us how HE wants us to read HIS word.

Let our daily readings be structured and purposeful rather than random and let us ask GOD to give us wisdom before we enter into HIS Word each and every day.

That way, GOD can use the Word to show us GOD's perfect plan for our lives.  

After we have read, then let us pray to GOD to show us what HE is telling us through the Word that we have read and let us know the Will of GOD.  

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER today I humbly pray that YOU show me how YOU want me to read YOUR word.  Give me the wisdom to discern what YOU are telling me through my daily reading.  I humbly pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  My Lord and my Saviour.  Amen.

Jesus our Healer!

Jesus took all of our sins with Him onto the cross and He healed us from the sickness of our sins..  Today let us know that our FATHER in Heaven is looking down on this earth and that HE knows the pain, the suffering and the trials that we are facing.

GOD knows exactly what we are all going through and HE is with us every step of the way. Which is exactly why HE sent HIS only Son to live a blameless life, to be tortured and martyred on a cross so that our sins can be washed away.  Jesus conquered sin and He conquered death for us to have life eternal. 

Let us today admit that we are sinners.  Let us believe in our Lord and our Saviour, Jesus Christ.  And let us confess this truth with our mouths and be saved.

And if any of us are sick or grieving or just feeling sad, let us call on the name of Jesus Christ and know that Jesus is with us and He will intercede with our FATHER in Heaven on our behalf.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I know that Jesus is my Lord and my Saviour.  I confess that I am a sinner.  FATHER today I confess this with my mouth.  FATHER I ask that you are with all those who are sick and that YOU heal them today.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay faithfully GOD blessed today!

 Our FATHER in Heaven is everlasting.  And in our limitations, it is impossible to understand eternity.

But our FATHER is everlasting.  And no one can fathom HIS understanding.  

What I am trying to say is that we need to understand that we cannot fathom GOD in any way.  We simply do not have the brain capacity to imagine GOD.  HE can be everywhere at all times.  There is no time limit to GOD.  HE does not work in our days or our weeks or even our years.  For GOD one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day.

So let us right size our GOD and let us therefore fall down and worship at HIS feet. For we are so small in comparison.  And we are so weak in comparison and our plans are so futile in comparison.

Let us right size our FATHER in Heaven and hold HIM in complete amazement and awe!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I worship at YOUR feet tonight FATHER.  I thank YOU  for YOUR grace in saving a wretch like me.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Treasures in Heaven!

 As children of GOD we need to know where our hearts are.  Do we have a heart for GOD? Or do we have hearts for the things of this earth?

Today, let us examine our hearts.  What do we think about most? GOD or the things of this earth?

The only way to truly have a heart for GOD is to think about GOD more than the things of this earth.

As I have grown in my Christian walk I have discovered that the more I think about GOD that the  more I think about GOD.  I even pray in my sleep.  And the amazing thing I have noticed is that the things of this earth are growing strangely dim. 

So how do we get a heart for GOD?  Well we need to spend time thinking about GOD.  We need to spend time talking to GOD in prayer and we need to spend time reading HIS word.  But we also need to think about spending time with like minded Christian people.

Prayer: ABBA FATHER show me more ways to store up my treasures in Heaven and to move away from the things of this earth.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Wait on the Lord!

 There are times in our lives when we want to rush things.  When things are moving slowly and we think that somehow we will never reach the goals that we have set.  

But we need to remember that the timing of the Lord is always perfect.  So when we feel that we are not moving fast enough, we need to sit down and be still.  And we need to know that GOD has the plan.  That HIS plans are not our plans.  That HIS timing is not our timing and that if we wait on HIM, the plan will become clear. 

And it is in those times that we can see that the goals we set would have ended in disaster and that GOD's timing is so much better than ours!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU for YOUR plans and that YOU bring YOUR plan for my life to bear.  I relinquish my plans for my life to YOU.  YOUR timing is always perfect and I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Be strong and couraeous!

We need never be afraid when we truly know GOD.  For our FATHER is always with us. We are never alone when we walk with GOD.

Jesus promised His disciples that He would send the Comforter to be with them. And so it is with us when we accept Jesus as our Lord and our Saviour.  The Holy Spirit comes and lives within us and He is always present.

Not only that, but our GOD is omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent.  And our adversity, Satan, does not have those qualities.  GOD sees all and GOD knows all.  We can do nothing that is hidden from our FATHER in Heaven.

So today, walk without fear.  GOD is with you and me.  GOD loves you and me and GOD wants to share in your and my  life.  Let HIM in!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, today I thank YOU that YOU are always with me.  I thank YOU that I am never alone.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and my Saviour.  Amen.

 We have absolutely nothing to give that we have not received from our FATHER in Heaven.  We cannot give if we have not received.  It is that simple.

GOD has given us everything.  The earth to live on, the heavens above, the air we breathe, the water we drink and the food we eat.

Yes we may work, but if GOD had not made us, we could not do that. 

Therefore today, on this chilly winter evening, let us bow down and thank our FATHER in Heaven.  Let us approach HIS throne with an attitude of gratitude and let us be thankful for everything we have.  Our family, our friends, our homes, our food that we eat and most of all the love that our FATHER has bestowed on us by giving us all of this.

Prayer:   ABBA FATHER, I bow down tonight and I worship YOU with all my heart.  I love YOU FATHER even though YOU loved me first.  I thank YOU FATHER for all that I am and all that I have.  I thank YOU for YOUR goodness and mercy.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Just believe and be healed!

 Jesus said that if we have faith as small as a mustard seed ... and with this COVID and a lot of people succumbing to it, we need to have faith.  If we believe everything that the world is telling us, we are in a huge amount of trouble.

But we have our physician, Jesus Christ.  And we have our FATHER in Heaven.  So let us not be afraid by the things of this world.  Let us put our trust and our faith in our FATHER.  And if we do get COVID, let us put our healing in the hands of our FATHER in Heaven.

Let us trust in the plan that GOD has for our lives.  And let us not fear what the devil has placed on this earth.  We are being tested and we need to trust in GOD.  

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, we thank YOU that YOU have a plan for each and every one of us.  Let us trust that YOUR plan for our lives prevail.  Let YOUR will be done in our lives and let us not fear the evil one.  We pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Your is the Glory oh GOD!

Somedays we have to look up at the heavens and just give all the glory to our FATHER in Heaven.  Today is a day that I bow down and worship this awesome GOD whom I serve with all my heart.

There is just so much beauty in this world.  And all we have to do is to stop and look up at the heavens.  The sunrise, the sunset, the twilight, the birds singing in the early morning, the leaves, now brown and falling to the ground as we go into the cold winter days.

What a magnificent world we live in!  What an amazing CREATOR we have.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, YOU are so gracious.  YOU gave us this earth to dwell in and the will to bow down and to serve YOU and to worship YOU.  Tonight FATHER, I give YOU all the glory and honour and praise.  There is nothing to compare to YOU Oh FATHER and I thank YOU for my life, for my family and for my friends.  I thank YOU for the opportunity to live on YOUR earth and to worship YOU.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

In Him there is no darkness!

 Jesus is the light of the world.  In Him there is no darkness. 

What people forget is that when we sin, all our sins are visible and evident to GOD.  Nothing is hidden from HIM.

And when we stand before GOD we are going to answer for our lives.  We will all stand before GOD.  That is why it is so important that we have the chance to ask GOD to forgive us, we need to take the opportunity to do so..

Today is the day for us to admit that we are sinners.  We need to ask GOD to forgive us.  And we need to do this as part of our daily routine.

Prayer: ABBA FATHER, I humbly ask that YOU forgive me for my sins.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

By the wounds of Jesus we are healed!

When Jesus died on the cross, He took all our sins onto that cross and He washed them as white as snow.  

Through the shedding of the blood of an innocent man, we are saved.  

So how can we continue to sin when we have been cleansed by the blood of our Saviour?  Well the truth of the matter is that we cannot go on sinning.  We simply cannot continue to be as we were before we were "saved".  We need to change.

And repentance means that - to change our minds.  To turn one hundred and eighty degrees and move away from our sin.

We need to renew our minds by praying ardently and fervently.  We need to read the word of GOD.  We need to fellowship with other like minded Christians.  We need to listen for the word of GOD through whatever means.

And most of all, we simply cannot go on sinning.  That is to crucify our beloved Jesus over and over.  

Today, let us turn around and away from our sins.  Let us confess to GOD that we are sinners.  And let us renew our minds to better serve our Saviour and our FATHER in Heaven.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I confess that I am a sinner.  FATHER forgive me and help me to turn away from my old self and to put on a renewed persona who can serve YOU and do YOUR will here on earth.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.
