Forgive not and you will not be forgiven!

If you forgive you will be forgiven.  That is the promise.  GOD is truth and GOD keeps HIS promises.

In the above verse we read that we are not to judge in order not to be judged with the same measure that we are using.

GOD reads our hearts.  When we make judgement on people and condemn them for their sins against us, we should always remember the story told to King David by Nathan, the prophet.  Nathan told King David about a man who had one sheep and he loved the sheep greatly and it even slept with him.  However the man worked for a rich man who had many sheep and the rich man wanted to slaughter a sheep for his banquet so he took the poor man's sheep and slaughtered it.

King David was furious and then shamed when Nathan told him that he was the rich man and he had taken Bathsheba from her husband. (2 Samuel 12).  

We should always remember this tale and dwell on our sins and ask GOD for forgiveness of our sins, which are usually far worse than the sins committed against us.  We should readily forgive those who sin against us.  

Let us contemplate our lives and look to where we have sinned and beg GOD to forgive those sins.  And let us remember the sins against us no more!

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU for my life.  I thank YOU for YOUR grace and I thank YOU for the forgiveness of my sins.  Today FATHER I ask that you forgive all my sins and I am truly sorry that I have sinned.   FATHER I forgive all those who have sinned against me.   

I pray all of this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Forgive others who sin against us!

Through Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for us on the cross, we are saved.  We need to accept this truth in order to have eternal life with GOD in Heaven when we die on this earth.

However, Jesus tells us in Matthew that if we do not forgive those who sin against us, we will not be forgiven.

Therefore there is a contract with GOD.   GOD promises to move our sins as far as East is from West if we repent and ask HIM for forgiveness.  However, in order to receive that forgiveness, GOD will read our hearts.  If we are not truly repentant, we are not forgiven.  And the other rider on this equation is that we need to let go of sins perceived against ourselves.

This is a really difficult thing to do and it is required to complete the contract with GOD.  GOD gives us HIS grace freely.  

However in order to accept that grace the forgiveness needs to asked for from GOD and we need to forgive. 

Let us today, go down on our knees and beg GOD to forgive us of our sins.  Then let us sit down and think about all those who have sinned against us and then let us let go of them.  To remember them no more from this day forward.  We are going to be a lot lighter in spirit if we can do this and really mean it.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, I accept YOUR enormous grace of eternal life.  I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour.  I know that He died to save me from my sins.  Today FATHER forgive all my sins AS I forgive all those who have sinned against me.  I promise to remember their sins no more. 

I pray this in the Holy Name of my Redeemer, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Take delight in the LORD!

Take delight in the LORD and HE will give you the desires of your heart. 

When we know that GOD is our FATHER, we are in awe of HIS creation.  How can it be that something so wonderful was created?

This earth that we live on, regardless of how we have managed to decimate it, was made perfect by GOD.  The Heavens are perfect and we are GOD's creation.

Let us take a step outside today and wonder at GOD's magnificent creation.  Let us fall down on our knees and thank GOD for what HE has done.  Let us praise HIS Holy Name.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER I thank YOU for this magnificent world that YOU created.  I thank YOU for the sun, the moon and the stars.  I thank YOU for my life.  I thank YOU for my life and for those whom I love and for all the people YOU have created. I pray all of this in the Holy Name of my Lord and my Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Call unto GOD!

GOD says that we should call HIM.  HE in turn promises to show us great and mighty things that we do not know.

Who can fathom GOD?  GOD is above everything that we know.  Anything that we have created on earth is only possible through the creation of ourselves by GOD.  Therefore we are limited in what we can create because we will never ever be equal to GOD.

It is exactly like the computers that we create.  They can never do the things that we do all in one computer.  Exactly the same applies to us.  We can not create the Heavens or the earth.   We are simply not capable of it.

GOD tells us to call on HIM and HE will show us even greater things than we can possibly imagine.  

Let us value and glorify this HUGE awesome GOD of ours.  Let us fall down and worship HIM and let us call on HIM and ask HIM to show us great things that we do not even know!

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU for YOUR creation.  I call on YOU today and ask that YOU show me great things that I cannot even imagine.  Show me YOUR ways FATHER.  Let me be YOUR servant on earth.  I pray to YOU ABBA that YOU will grant me YOUR grace and YOUR peace.  I pray that YOU forgive my sins as I forgive those who sin against me.

United with Christ in the Holy Spirit!

Yesterday we looked at our bodies being the temple of the LORD!  Paul goes on in Corinthians to tell us that once we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, we are"one" with Him in the Holy Spirit. 

This is so powerful.  We share the Holy Spirit!  The Holy Spirit is part of the Trinity of our GOD.  GOD is FATHER, GOD is Son and GOD is Holy Spirit.  Therefore, upon our acceptance of Jesus, we are accepted into a life with GOD. 

Let us today, choose GOD.  Let us choose Jesus as our Saviour.  Let us become one in the Holy Spirit. Let us ask GOD to forgive us our sins and let us forgive those who sin against us.  Let us ask GOD to use us on earth to glorify HIS HOLY NAME.

Prayer: ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that I can have the Holy Spirit fill me.  I pray fervently that YOU fill me with the Holy Spirit so that I can be one with YOU and Jesus.  I want to do YOUR works on this earth and I pray that in a very small way, YOU can use me to glorify YOU.  I pray this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Our bodies are the temple of the LORD!

Our bodies are the temple of the LORD.  This is because once we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, He comes to live in us.  We are filled with the Holy Spirit and we become a new creation.

Therefore today, let us consider our bodies and ask ourselves if we are treating them as if Jesus Christ lives in them.  Let us try to really make our home for Jesus on earth and place that we would like to live in.

Let us not abuse our bodies in any manner.  Let us bring glory to GOD through the way in which we treat ourselves.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU that YOU have given me a Saviour.  I thank YOU that Jesus lives in me.  I thank YOU that YOU have filled me with the Holy Spirit.  Today, FATHER, I humbly ask that YOU show me to take better care of this temple.  I pray this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD in the Highest!

Often we are inclined to want to put GOD into a box that fits into our lives.  We want GOD to be like us.  We want a loving, kind forgiving FATHER who is our size.

We need to be very careful with this concept.  GOD is not our size and HE is not like us.  We are made in HIS image and not the other way around.  GOD's ways are much higher and HIS thoughts are much higher than ours.  

We can never, with all the brain power in the world in collaboration together, create even one earth.  We are not loving and kind and forgiving.  We are human beings, sinful by nature and we need to "right size" our GOD.

When Jesus comes again, we are told that all the earth will see Him coming.  How is this possible if he is our size?  It is not.  GOD is bigger than anything we can ever imagine and we need to remember this.

Today let us bow down before our All Mighty, All Powerful GOD.  Let us accept HIS Son Jesus Christ as our Saviour.  The only Way, the only Truth and the only Life.  Let us beg our GOD to grant us HIS mercy and HIS grace. 

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, YOU who are Omniscient, Omnipresent, Omnipotent, I bow down to YOU O ABBA FATHER.  I surrender my life to YOU.  I give YOU my sins and ask that YOU wash me as white as snow as only YOU can do.  I forgive all those who have sinned against me.  I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and my Saviour. 

I pray all of this in Jesus' Holy Name.  Amen.

Glorify GOD!

Glorify GOD!

The Psalmist writes that we are to give GOD all the glory and we are to sing to GOD.  

When we survey the earth and the heavens, it is evident what a magnificent GOD we serve.  We are so small in comparison to our GOD.  We are so very insignificant in relation to the whole creation.  Yet our GOD loves each one of us and HE knows our names.  HE knitted us together in our mother's wombs.  HE numbers the hairs on our heads.

We claim that we love our children and yet not one of us can say that we can number the hairs on their heads.  We claim that we love our children, but would we be willing to sacrifice them in order to save the lives of other people's children?

Our GOD is gracious, kind and compassionate and HE wants us to live in eternity with HIM.  HE wants us to choose this eternal life.  HE has given each one of us free will to choose.

Today, let us choose Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour.  Let us choose to live an eternal life with our FATHER in Heaven.  Let us accept the enormous grace of GOD.  Let us beg HIM for forgiveness for our many sins.  Let us sing HIS praises and let us tell everyone that we are enormously and graciously loved by our FATHER in Heaven!

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER, ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU for YOUR grace and mercy.  I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour.  I accept that YOU sent Him to die for my sins.  I know that HE is risen and sits at YOUR right Hand.  I beg YOU FATHER to forgive my sins.  I forgive all those who have sinned against me.  I praise YOU FATHER.

GOD my Rock!

GOD YOU are my Rock on whom I can always depend.  I praise YOU FATHER.  I love YOU FATHER.  I worship YOU FATHER.

As children of the Living GOD, we need to praise GOD always.  We need to give thank to GOD always.  We are loved by the most wonderful CREATOR.  Nothing is impossible for our GOD. 

Today let us fall down and worship this awesome GOD we serve.  Let us accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour.  Let us beg GOD to forgive our sins.  Let us forgive those who sin against us. 

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I worship YOU.  I bow down and thank YOU for the miracle of this earth.  I thank YOU for your creation of the universe.  I thank YOU for my family; for my friends, for my life on earth.

I pray FATHER that I may glorify YOUR Holy Name.  I pray FATHER that in some small way I can serve YOU today.

Forgive my sins as I forgive those who sin against me.  I pray this in Jesus' Name. Amen.

GODis abundant in strength and HIS understanding is infinite!

Although there are some very clever people on earth, no one is more intelligent than GOD.  HE created things that we do not know how to measure.   HE created things we have not seen.  HE created planets and solar systems that we can never ever visit even with the most clever of scientists.

So whenever we have fears or doubts about the trials and tribulations of this world, let us think on the intelligence of our FATHER in Heaven.  HE can accomplish anything HE wishes.  And HE is our FATHER.  We can take anything to HIM in prayer and HE has the answers.  

What we need to have is a good relationship with HIM and know how to listen for HIS voice.  We need to read HIS word so that HE can speak to us through that.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU for YOUR grace in giving me not only life on earth, but in allowing me to save myself from an eternal death through the blood of YOUR Son, Jesus Christ.  I pray FATHER that YOU forgive my sins as I forgive all those who have sinned against me.  I pray that YOU will bless me and my family today and all those reading this blog.

I pray all of this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Peace be with you!

We, children of the living GOD, are told not to be anxious about anything.  GOD tells us to take everything to HIM in prayer.  

This is so true and so hard to do.  When we know and "right size" GOD, we suddenly see things differently.  Our GOD is huge!  Our GOD is all powerful.  HE is everywhere and HE sees everything.

Therefore there is nothing that anyone or any situation can do to us that is as big as our GOD.  We have a GOD against whom no enemy can win.  No matter what the situation is, our GOD is bigger than that.

So today, fellow children of this awesome GOD, let us fall down on our knees and worship this GOD.  Let us thank HIM and praise HIM. 

GOD sees our hearts and HE sees our thoughts and our deeds.  When we truly trust HIM, HE can do amazing things. 

This Christmas season let us draw on HIM for our strength.  Let us leave all the worrying behind and trust in our GOD!  Ask GOD to take away all our worries and let us prepare to be amazed.  

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU so much for all the ways in which I can depend on YOU.  I love YOU FATHER.  Take away my worries and my fears and let me bask in YOUR glorious grace and YOUR peace which transcends all understanding.  I pray this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, my Redeemer, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Give thanks to GOD always!

What we have to give to GOD is nothing.  GOD needs nothing from us at all.  HE can create anything HE wants.  And HE has.  However, we can freely give HIM all our gratitude.

Let us give gratitude for all that we are, all that we have and all that we are surrounded with.  Let us thank GOD today for our lives and the lives of all those who we love.  Let us thank GOD for this world that we live in, for the food that we eat, for the clothes that we wear.  Let us thank GOD for health and healing and solace and all that we feel.

GOD is powerful.  GOD is great and we need to say out loud, "Thank YOU GOD!"

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU today for YOUR grace.  I thank YOU for YOUR Son Jesus Christ, my Redeemer.  I thank YOU for all that I am and all that I have.  I thank YOU for my loved ones and for the people on this earth.  I thank YOU for the beauty of nature.  I thank YOU for the clothes that I wear and the food that I eat.  I thank YOU for my health and I thank YOU that YOU heal me when I am ill.  I thank YOU today FATHER for everything.

The Second Coming of Jesus!

When Jesus comes back to earth, we are all going to witness the event.  No one who is alive will not see it.  The tribes will mourn.  Those who have not believed and have not accepted the grace of GOD and have not accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, they will mourn.  They will be astounded and they will be dismayed.

Today, make the choice to be among the people who are going back to Heaven with Jesus.  Let us fall down on our knees and pray to GOD to forgive our sins and let us forgive those who have sinned against us.  Let us accept Jesus as the only way the only truth and the only life.

Let it be today!

Eagerly await the coming of Jesus!

We are not citizens of this earth forever.  This is our temporary abode.  We are put on earth to show the glory of GOD and to do works that HE has prepared for us in advance.  When we understand this, we also realize that we need to prepare to spend eternity in Heaven with our LORD and HIS Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

As children of GOD, we need to eagerly await the time when Jesus will come down to earth and fetch us home.  Whether that is as living children or as children who have died on earth but are going home.

Therefore today, let us eagerly await this.  Let us prepare for the life of eternity with GOD as we would for our annual holiday.  Let us get our affairs in order and pack our bags.  Let us get rid of the old stuff that we need to throw away before we leave.  Let us make our plans big for Heaven.  Let us not put it off but start right away.

First things first!  A really good relationship with GOD is a must.  A knowledge of HIS word will not go amiss.  Continual prayer is an essential.  A loving attitude will help.

Metaphorically speaking, we need to pay our dues on earth;  we need to settle our scores with others.  We need to be on good terms with those around us. We need to clean up after ourselves before we leave and do the chores that GOD has set for us here.

Then we need to make our goals for Heaven.  How we are going to get there and it is not through anything we can do here on earth?  The only way to get there is to accept the Grace of GOD -  to accept HIS Son as our Saviour and to repent of our sins. 

We need to love GOD with all our hearts, with all our minds, with all our strength and with all our souls.  We need to love our neighbours as ourselves.  In this love we need to do everything on earth to help one another.  

This is going to be a fantastic eternity if we do these things!

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I want to spend eternity with YOU.  I love YOU FATHER with all my heart and with all my soul and with all my strength and with all my mind.  

FATHER, YOU are my Alpha and my Omega, my going out and my coming in!

LORD, forgive my sins as I forgive those who sin against me.  

Show me FATHER where I can love and give of myself.  Convict my spirit to do only good.  I accept Jesus Christ as my only Lord and Saviour and the only way that I can get to spend eternity with YOU.

I pray all of this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen. 

Stay eagerly GOD blessed today!

GOD tells us not to be afraid!

GOD is our LORD.  HE tells us not to be afraid for HE will take hold of our right hands and HE will help us.

Imagine our FATHER who created everything wants to help us!  What a powerful, wonderful thing to have our CREATOR take us by the right hands and for HIM to help us.  

How can we get this help?  Well it is simple.  We have to know GOD and we have to trust GOD and we have to believe in HIS Son Jesus Christ.  We have to believe that the only way to the FATHER is through the Son.  There is no other way.  

So let us draw close to our FATHER. Let us know that HIS Son is our Redeemer.  Let us invite the Holy Spirit to come and live in us and counsel us.  Let us beg GOD for the forgiveness of our sins and let us forgive those who have sinned against us.  Then let us ask GOD to help us and HE will.  HE will put out HIS hand and HE will help us.

GOD has kept all HIS promises to us and HE will keep this one.  GOD help us tonight.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU that I can turn to YOU.  I believe in YOUR Son Jesus Christ.  I believe that HE is the only way to YOU.  I humbly ask that YOU forgive my sins as I forgive all those who sin against me.  Please help me tonight.  Bless my family and my friends.  Heal all those who are sick or grieving. Help those who need YOUR help. 

Give me YOUR peace that transcends all understanding.  FATHER I pray this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Jesus our Saviour!

GOD loves us and HE wants us to be in a living loving relationship with HIM.  HE created us and HE is our Saviour.  Through our Lord Jesus Christ, we are saved when we accept this. 

Let us today draw close to our FATHER in Heaven.  Let us fall down and worship our CREATOR GOD.  Let us thank Jesus for loving us so much that He suffered and died for us.  Let us thank GOD that we are saved through this almighty sacrifice made with real blood shed for each one of us.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU today for YOUR creation, this earth and the heavens and the stars and indeed me and all the people of this earth.  I thank YOU that I am saved and I thank YOU that I am loved.  I thank YOU that I can get forgiven for my sins.  I pray FATHER that YOU send the Holy Spirit to convict me of my sins so that I sin no more.  I forgive all those who sin against me.  

I pray all of this in the knowledge that I am redeemed only through the blood of Jesus spent to absolve me.  Amen.

Heaven is a real place!

Heaven is a real place and it is our home for eternity.  We are not sure what Heaven will look like, but it is going to be a beautiful place to live.  Jesus told His disciples that He was going there to prepare a place for us and that this place has many rooms.

Just as we are real.  So Jesus was a real person on earth and He lives in a real home with His FATHER - GOD. 

If Heaven is real then so is Hell.  Let us never forget that.  Let us choose Heaven over Hell today.  Let us choose Jesus as our Saviour, our Redeemer.  Let us fall down on our knees and worship our FATHER GOD who created us and who sent us His Son.  

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU that I can choose Heaven.  I thank YOU that YOU gave me free will and the desire to love Jesus.  I thank YOU for the Holy Spirit that lives in me.  Let the Spirit reign in me FATHER. FATHER today I repent of all my sins and I ask for YOUR forgiveness. I forgive all those who have sinned against me.

 I pray this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

To be "IN CHRIST"

What does it mean to be "In Christ"?   When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and our Saviour, our Redeemer, we are blessed and filled with the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit comes to live in us and convicts us.  

This sounds complicated, but it is not.  We are born sinful and sin overtakes us all.  We are jealous of others, we are selfish and we can be unsympathetic.

However, the Holy Spirit shows us when we are doing any of the things we should not do and we instinctively know that Jesus would not do what we are busy doing. This is the conviction of the Holy Spirit.  It becomes our moral compass and shows us when and where we sin.

Today let us be truly convicted with the Holy Spirit.  Let us fall down on our knees and beg GOD to forgive us.  Let us forgive all those who sin against us.  And then we are "In Christ".  We are saved and we have an eternal life with GOD.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, today I pray that YOU convict me and fill me with the Holy Spirit.  I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and my Saviour.  Forgive my sins as I forgive all those who sin against me.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD's grace is for all!

GOD has given HIS grace for ALL the people of this world to accept.  It does not matter who we are or where we come from.  It does not matter about what we have done.  At any time of our lives, we can clear the slate with GOD.

We need to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and our Saviour.  We need to accept that He is the Son of GOD and that He came to earth and lived here and was crucified, died and was buried.  We need to accept that He rose from the dead and that He sits at the right hand of GOD the FATHER.

Jesus will judge us as GOD has given this authority over to Him.  Therefore, no matter what bad things we have done, we have salvation.

We just need to accept this truth.  Once we accept the truth of GOD's enormous grace, we are saved.  After that we need to beg GOD to forgive us for our sins.  GOD will then wipe our slates clean.  HE promises that HE will remember them no more.

Jesus says that the greatest commandment is that we love the LORD our GOD with all our hearts and with all our souls and with all our strength and with all our minds.  This follows that if we do this, we will love our neighbours as ourselves.  After all they, too, are GOD's creation.

Fellow children of GOD let us draw close to our GOD and let us worship HIM.  Let us praise HIM and let us read HIS word daily.  Let us love HIM and give HIM thanks for all that we have.  

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, today I pray that somewhere someone is reading this who wants to come to YOU.  I pray that YOU accept them and give them YOUR grace.  Forgive their sins FATHER as they forgive those who have sinned against them.  FATHER forgive me my sins as I forgive all those who have sinned against me.  Grant me YOUR grace FATHER.  

A special prayer, FATHER, heal all those who are sick and who ask YOU to heal them. 

I humbly ask this in Jesus  Holy Name.  Amen.

Overcoming fear by fear of the LORD!

When we start to understand the magnitude and the might and the power of the GOD we serve, the GOD who created us, then we start to feel overawed by HIM.

We are so small in comparison the CREATOR of the universe.  Therefore today let us know that we have nothing to fear from this world with our GOD on our side.  There is nothing that anyone can do to us that our GOD cannot deal with.  

It does not mean that bad things will not happen to us.  Not at all.  Everyone on earth has free will and people may decide to do bad things and these things may befall us.  Also our loved ones may get sick and they may even die.  However, our GOD has a perfect plan and we are under HIS protection.

Let us take everything to our GOD, but especially let us give thanks for this wonderful GOD that we serve.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU that YOU are on my side.  I thank YOU that I can bring everything to YOU and that YOU can deal with even the smallest issues of my life.  I thank YOU that YOU are my FATHER.  I pray all of this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.
