Prayer

Let us pray to GOD our FATHER about every aspect of our lives.  Let us take our joys, our sorrows, our worries and our thoughts to HIM in prayer every day and all day.  Let us do nothing without talking to our FATHER in Heaven.

GOD loves us and HE wants to be the Alpha and the Omega of our lives.  The beginning and the end.  Let us never put GOD second or third or only when things go wrong.  Let us wake up each morning and greet our FATHER in Heaven.  Let us lay our heads down and say goodnight to our FATHER in Heaven.  GOD is on our side and HE is the one constant in an ever changing world.

Let us pray to GOD and thank HIM for our food.  Let us pray to GOD and thank HIM for the sun rising in the morning and the moon at night.  Let us ask GOD for HIS protection when we travel and when we sleep.  Let us tell GOD when we are happy and when we are sad.   Let us tell GOD when we are angry or sick.  HE cares and HE wants us to be talking to HIM all day every day. 

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU that I can talk to YOU about everything in my life.  I love YOU FATHER.  I pray all of this in the Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Jesus among us!

Through the birth and death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, we have been saved.  Our sins are forgiven and Jesus has taken all the punishment that we should have received.

However, as Heirs with Christ, we are called to acknowledge Jesus as our Saviour.  We are called to ask for forgiveness of our sins.  We are called to become new people, people with a conscience and people with kindness, gentleness, humility and most of all with love.

Therefore today, let us accept this and let us ask GOD to forgive our sins.  Let us forgive those who sin against us and let us become true Heirs of GOD our FATHER in Heaven.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU for my Redeemer, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Do not fear I am with you!

GOD is always with us.  Whether we know it or acknowledge this truth, it is the truth.  Therefore in every situation, we need to put all doubts and worries in the HAND of our perfect FATHER in Heaven.

GOD will strengthen us and HE will uphold us with HIS righteous HAND.

Today draw close to GOD and put all our fears and worries in HIS wonderful HANDS.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, I love YOU and I worship YOU and I cast all my cares on YOU.  In Jesus Name, Amen.

Gift of GOD!

We are given the gift of eternal life when we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and our Saviour.

GOD gives us the best gift - a life of eternity with HIM in Heaven.  Surrounded by our loved ones and our precious Lord Jesus.

What do we have to do to get this beautiful gift - nothing.  We only have to take Jesus as our Saviour.  Accept Jesus as the Son of GOD, part of the Holy Trinity.

Of course when we accept a gift, we need to show gratitude and we can do this by spreading the word of GOD to everyone on earth.  Today let us pray for the people of this earth to all find the love of Jesus.  Let us pray that they all see that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life and that no one comes to the FATHER except through Him.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU for Jesus Christ my Lord and my Saviour.  I accept the gift of eternal life today.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

We are all made in the image of GOD!

Our CREATOR GOD, our FATHER in Heaven, made each one of us in HIS image.  He inserted no marks on our hands or in our foreheads, although HE is perfectly capable to do such a thing.  Our FATHER also sent HIS Son to die for our sins so that we can have eternal life with HIM.

As we see the world degenerating with climate change, with rumours of wars, with earthquakes and with people rioting, we need to be mindful that we are children of the LIVING GOD.

We are not to conform to the things of this world.  Our purpose on earth is to serve GOD.  We are on earth to do HIS will, not our own.  We need to spread the word of GOD and tell the world about the love and the light of Jesus on earth.

Therefore let us decide today to draw close to our FATHER and let us resolve to never accept the mark of the beast. 

Prayer;  Heavenly FATHER, I worship YOUR HOLY NAME.  YOU are LORD of my life.  YOUR will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.  I pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and my Redeemer.  Amen.

Trust the LORD our GOD!

When trouble comes, and it comes to all of us, we have GOD our FATHER and Jesus our Saviour and the Holy Spirit, our Comforter, who are always with us.

We are never alone.  We are in the hands of our Holy Trinity.  We are sheltered and shielded by this Divine power that is our FATHER in Heaven.

Today, draw close to our FATHER and let HIM know that we trust HIM completely.  HE has our lives in HIS hands and HIS plan is perfect!

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, I trust YOU alone.  I thank YOU for YOUR divine plan for my life.  I pray this in the name of my Redeemer, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD the FATHER, GOD the Son and GOD the Holy Spirit!

GOD is three in ONE.  This is a profound mystery.  It is very difficult for us to grasp the concept of the THREE in ONE.

Yet Jesus tells us in the verse above - "I and the FATHER are ONE!"  And Jesus further tells us that no one can snatch us out of His Hand, our Redeemer and our Saviour.  This is when we accept Jesus as our Saviour. 

Today, on father's day, let us celebrate our fathers on earth but also let us celebrate our FATHER in Heaven by praying HIS Son's prayer.   Our FATHER in Heaven is on our side, all the time.  He is waiting patiently for us to surrender our lives to HIM through HIS Son Jesus, at which time, HE will send the Holy Spirit to take up residence in us.  Then we are made complete, with GOD as our FATHER, Jesus our Saviour and the Holy Spirit being our advocate. 

Prayer:  

Our FATHER, who Art in Heaven,
Hallowed be THY Name,
THY kingdom come,
THY will be done, on earth, as it is in Heaven.

Give us today our daily bread.
And forgive our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.

Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

For THINE is the kingdom, the power and the glory,
Forever and ever.  Amen.

Stay divinely GOD blessed today!

Completion of our faith!

When we contemplate this verse, it is both inspiring and extremely daunting.  GOD has started a good work in all of HIS children.  And if we continue to grow our faith, GOD will complete HIS good works in us, at the day of Jesus Christ.

This gives us all a responsibility to become more like Jesus.  To be gentle, kind, loving, giving, compassionate, humble,  but most of all to have a living relationship with our FATHER in Heaven.

Therefore today, let us bow down and worship our awesome GOD who has begun HIS work in us.  Let us beg GOD to grow our faith and let us talk to GOD about everything.  Let nothing be reliant on ourselves, but let us give it all to GOD first .... and last.

Prayer;  Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU for YOUR work begun in me.  Help me to grow more like Jesus every day.  I pray this in the Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD's will for our lives!

Once we accept that we are children of a living, gracious, Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Omniscient GOD, we are no longer going to conform to the patterns and norms of this world.  Suddenly, when we are filled with the Holy Spirit, we know that we need to please GOD.

We can no longer behave as we did before.  It is as if we are "born again" into a new relationship with our FATHER in Heaven. 

Today accept, GOD and Jesus and the Holy Spirit and let us do every thing we can to please GOD.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER I thank YOU that I am YOUR child.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD is light!

GOD is light.  In HIM there is no darkness.  GOD wants us to live in the light with HIM.  GOD sent the Light of the world - Jesus to save us from our sinful ways.

Today, let us accept the Light of the world and let us move into the Light with Him.

Accept GOD as our FATHER, Jesus as our Saviour and the Holy Spirit as our Companion, our Helper. 

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU for being the LIGHT of my world.  I accept Jesus as my Lord and my Saviour.  In Jesus Christ's name.  Amen.

Grace of GOD!

We are made alive in Christ.  We cannot do good works or simply be good people.  No, we need the immense gift of GOD.  HIS grace.  HIS grace will grant us eternal life.  We are sinful and we cannot ever compare to the perfection of GOD.

However, GOD so loved the world that HE sent HIS only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have life eternal (John 3:16).

So today, accept the GRACE of GOD.  Accept Jesus as our Lord and our Saviour.  Beg GOD to forgive our sins and forgive those who sin against us.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, thank YOU for YOUR grace.  Forgive my sins as I forgive those who sin against me.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Forgiveness!

GOD wants us to love one another, just as HE loves us.  Therefore in GOD's name and for GOD we need to be kind and compassionate to each other.  Forgiveness is so important.

When we hold grudges, we are slaves to the sin.  It consumes us and it makes us ill.  When we let go of the hurts others have inflicted on us, we are set free to love unconditionally.  Therefore, for our own sake, GOD wants us to be free of the shackles of unforgiveness.  Following on from that, GOD freely forgives us our sins and moves them as far as East is from West.  Meaning that they are remembered no more.

Today let us put aside all the hurts and cast off the unforgiveness.  Let us allow the Holy Spirit to convict us of our sins and let us turn to GOD and beg HIM to forgive us.  Once we are forgiven, we MUST forgive AS we are forgiven by GOD.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, thank YOU for forgiving me.  I forgive all those who have sinned against me.  Thank YOU for YOUR mercy and YOUR grace.  I pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ.  My Lord and my Redeemer.  Amen.

GOD is our healer!

GOD can heal us.  If we truly repent of our sins.  If we call on the elders to pray over us and if all prayers for us are offered in faith, then we can be healed.

GOD loves us.  HE wants the very best life for each one of us.  Sickness is often a symptom of our inability to repent or to forgive others.  

Today, if we are ill and suffering, let us pray to GOD and HE can show us how we can be healed.  But let us pray in faith, knowing that our GOD is good and HE is love and HE wants us to know HIS love.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU that YOU are my healer.  Today FATHER I pray that YOU show me how I can be healed.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and my Saviour.  My Redeemer.  Amen.

GOD never leaves us!

Who is our FATHER in Heaven?  Well quite simply GOD is our FATHER.  HE is the perfect FATHER.  HE never leaves us and HE never forsakes us.  No matter how far we are from GOD, GOD is never far from us.

GOD loves us and HE disciplines us with love and in love. We may face trials and tribulations, but our GOD is always with us.  GOD gives us free will and many of the trials and tribulations that we face are made by ourselves.

Therefore today, let us bow down and worship our FATHER in Heaven.  HE who loves us unconditionally and frees us from sin when we accept HIS grace and HIS mercy and acknowledge HIS Son as our Lord and Saviour.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU that YOU are always with me.  I love Jesus as my Lord and Saviour.  I pray all of this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD is love!

Our GOD loves us!  There is no way that GOD wants anything but the very best for each one of us.  Firstly we are all created uniquely.  Even twins.  Then GOD gave us every good thing so that we can live a good richly blessed life.

We are sinners and we cannot ever be like GOD.  So our GOD gave us HIS Son, Jesus Christ.  And this beautiful Son died on a cross after being humiliated, tortured and nailed to a cross.  He died for us from trauma, loss of blood and collapse of his organs.  

All of this GOD did for us so that we can be reconciled to HIM and have the opportunity for a life of eternity with HIM in Heaven.

Accept this today and fall down and worship this awesome, loving, giving GOD of ours.  Accept HIS Son as our Saviour and beg GOD in HIS enormous grace to forgive our sins.  Forgive those who sin against us and stand for Jesus on earth.

Prayer:  GOOD loving FATHER, I accept YOUR grace.  I accept Jesus as my Saviour.  Forgive my sins as I forgive all those who sin against me.  Show me how to love and shine YOUR light on earth.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The Holy Spirit

When Jesus addressed His disciples about His imminent death, He told them that He would send them a companion.  A helper.  This Helper is the Holy Spirit.  When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, and accept Jesus as the Son of GOD, we are filled with the Holy Spirit who pours out onto us.

Once we have the Holy Spirit, we are in Jesus and Jesus is in us.  Therefore we are new creatures and have to live by the way the Holy Spirit convicts us.  This is so that we can "put off the old selves" and put on the new more "Jesus-like" persona.

The Holy Spirit convicts us of our past lives and shows us how sinful we were.  This enables us to ask GOD to forgive us and also enables us to forgive those who have sinned against us.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU for pouring out the Holy Spirit onto me.  FATHER show me my sins and let me forgive those who have sinned against me as I beg YOU to forgive me of my sins.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.
