A new beginning!

Through Christ Jesus, we are born again.  We cast off our old selves and enter into a new creation.  This is the truth.  Jesus being the Truth.

As people living in the truth, let us today resolve to be new creations in Jesus Christ.  Let us resolve to demonstrate fully the light that lives in each one of us and be gentle, humble, kind, loving and giving.  Let us not criticize each other but encourage one another.  Let us spur on our friends, our neighbours and our families so that together we shine the Light and that we show the Trust of the world!

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for renewing me and for allowing me to shine Your light on this world.  Help me Father to walk in the Truth and to be humble, gentle, kind, patient and loving.  I pray this in the name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed today!

Put our Trust in God!

God has a perfect plan for our lives.  We need to put all our trust in Him and know that He knows what is best for us.  This is often hard to do as we try to navigate our path on this earth.

Jesus placed all His trust in His Father and although He suffered on earth, He now sits at the right hand of God our Father.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You today for Your perfect plan for my life.  I trust in You Father and I know that You know what is best for me.  Let me accept Your will Father and not my will.  I pray this in the name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed!

Jesus is all powerful!

God has given all the power to His Son Jesus, both in heaven and on the earth.  No one goes to the Father except through Jesus.

Let us call on the powerful name of Jesus Christ to help us today in whatever we are doing and where ever we find ourselves.  Let us remember as this year draws to a close that we achieve nothing if we do not give all the glory to God our Father in Heaven and to Jesus Christ our Redeemer.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, I thank You for giving me Jesus.  I thank You that Jesus is all powerful and that through Him I can come to You.  I ask humbly today that nothing I do is to my glory but only to Your Glory.  I pray this in the name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed!

Throne of Grace

God give us His grace.  This is a free gift.  Through our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ we can approach God at any time and ask for His divine intervention.

Sometimes we do not see that God has answered our prayers and supplications as we do not see the result we want.  However, in retrospect many many times, the plan becomes crystal clear and we see that had God given us our way instead of implementing His divine plan, it would have led to a disaster.

Let us always ask God that if it is His will, then let our prayers be answered in the manner we want.  Always knowing that God has a perfect plan and ours is inherently flawed.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, Thank You that You have a divine and perfect plan for my life.  Help me to remember that my desires will often lead to an outcome that I have not foreseen. Lord lead me in Your perfect way.  Give me Your perfect peace.   I pray this in the name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed!

Strength from God!

God is our hope.  When we know God and when we accept God as our Father, we have hope of life eternal and of God's perfect plan for our lives.

Let us today put all our hope in God and let God take charge of our lives!  Our Redeemer lives!

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, Thank You that I can depend on You.  Thank You that You are my strength.  Thank You for sending my Redeemer who lives!  I pray all of this in the name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed!

Faith!

God saves us by His Grace and through our faith in Him.  Through faith Noah spent 120 years of his life building an ark that he was not sure he was ever going to use.  But God told him to build it so he built it.  And he needed it.

Today let us put all our faith in the perfect plan that God has for our lives and let us trust that He knows what He is doing in lives.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, I know that Your plan for my life is perfect and I ask today that You forgive me for doubting You.  Implement Your perfect plan today.  I pray this in the name of my redeemer, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed!

A Christmas gift for us all from God!

God has saved each one of us.  All we have to do is accept the gift of eternal lift.  In order to accept our gift of eternal life, we need to believe in the gift of salvation.  Lastly and most importantly, we need to ask God to forgive our sins.  We need to forgive others who sin against us.

The gift of salvation is our firm belief that our God sent His only Son, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, to live on earth for us.  Today we celebrate the birth of our Saviour.  We need to believe that Jesus was crucified, died and rose on the third day and then that He ascended into Heaven and that He sits at the right hand of God our Father and our Creator.

Such a simple thing, to believe in Jesus.  He is the only Way the only Truth and the only Life.  He is indeed,  the Light of the world!

Prayer: Omniscient, Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Father God, our Heavenly Creator, I thank You for your Grace.  I thank You Father for Your sacrifice in order to grant me eternal life.  Today Father I ask that You forgive my sins as I forgive those who sin against me.  I pray all of this in the name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed today!

Glory to God in the Highest

Can you imagine looking up into the night sky and seeing a heavenly host suddenly appearing and worshiping God say "Glory to God in the Highest"? That accompanied by an angel of the Lord appearing to  shepherds who were watching their flock in the dead of night.  The angel told the shepherds that that very night a Saviour for whole earth was born.  Glad tidings indeed!

What an amazing and wonderful way to announce the Birth of our Messiah!

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, I thank You that You are so gracious and so wonderful.  I thank You today especially that You sent Your Son Jesus to live on this earth, to die for my sins and to give me eternal life.  I pray all of this in the powerful name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed this Christmas!

Melchizedek!

Our Awesome God sent His Son Jesus Christ to live with us.  However, God declares that Jesus is a High Priest in the order of Melchizedek.  This makes Jesus completely pure of bloodline and thus able to bring peace, light and eternal life to us all.

This Christmas, let us celebrate the absolute purity of the sacrifice performed for each one of us and let us be eternally grateful to our Heavenly Father for His enormous Grace.

Let us forgive those who sin against us as we ask God to forgive us of our sins.  Let us love one another and show kindness, humility and gentleness this Christmas in the celebration of the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, today I humbly ask that You forgive my sins as I forgive those who sin against me.  I thank You Father that You have given me Your Grace and that You sent Your Son to die for me so that I could have eternal life with You.  I pray this in the name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed!

Thursday 21 December 2017

God made Jesus His High Priest!

God gave His Son the title of High Priest in the order of Melchizedek!  Jesus who is Lord of ALL did not take on the glory of becoming a High Priest, but His Father bestowed upon Him the title for the enormous sacrifice that He made is coming to earth to save us all and give us eternal life.

In the same way Jesus Christ lived, so should we live.  Not seeking glory for ourselves on earth but rather in storing up treasures for ourselves in Heaven.

Therefore especially during this Christmas period and in order to give reverence to our Lord and Saviour, let us do good but let us do it in secret and without seeking praise.  Let us behave humbly as Jesus did and let us store up for ourselves the glory in Heaven.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, today help me to do good unto others.  Help me to be a better ambassador for You here on earth today.  Help me to forgive others as You forgive me and help me to do all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Saviour.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed!

God's Final Word - His Son Jesus Christ!

God sent His Son to earth.  Not to be a God on earth, but to live like us.  Jesus lived amongst us and he was fully human.

When he died on the cross, He felt the pain as we would have, had we been tortured like this.

However, after doing this for us, He now sits at the right Hand of God the Father.  Jesus is the ONLY way to get to the Father.  We need to remember this and know this and acknowledge Jesus as our ONLY Lord and Saviour.

This Christmas celebrate the true meaning of what Jesus came to do on earth in order to give each one of us eternal life.  What an enormous Blessing and what Grace we have received from our Heavenly Father!

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I ask that this Christmas I am constantly reminded of the true meaning of Your enormous Grace.  I thank You Father for the life of Your Son Jesus Christ here on earth.  I pray earnestly for the forgiveness of my sins as I forgive those who sin against me.  I pray this all in the name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed!

God's Revelation to us concerning Jesus Christ!

God gives us this powerful revelation in Hebrews Chapter 1.  He promises us that His Son is indeed a High Priest of the order of  Melchizedek.   And He promises us that He sends His Son to live a life lower than the Angels so that His Son will experience true life on earth as we experience it.

God is Awesome and this promise was given to each one of us.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, I thank You that You sent Your Son to live on this earth and I humbly  thank You Father for Your enormous Grace.  I ask today Father that You fill me with Your Holy Spirit so that I can shine my light on the world today.  I pray this in the Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed!

The Power of God unto Salvation!

Today as we draw closer to celebrating the birth of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, let us reflect on the awesome power of God.  God brings salvation to each one of us and all we have to do is to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and our Saviour.

What a magnificent God we serve!

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, Omniscient, Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Thank You that You love me.  Thank You that You sent Your wonderful Son to die to save me from my sins.  Thank You that I can spend eternity with You in Heaven. I ask humbly that You forgive my sins as I forgive those who sin against me.

I pray all of this in the Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed!

Love your enemies

God loves us and He wants the best life for each one of us.  Those of us that choose to love Him are very blessed.

When we have God is our lives, we are forgiven of our sins when we truly repent and ask God to forgive us.  As true Christians we are called on to forgive those who sin against us and this is often hard to do when we feel hurt and slighted.  However,  we cannot ask God to forgive us if we still harbour grudges.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father I thank You today, that You are my Father and my Creator.  I thank You that You sent Your wonderful Son to die for my sins.  Let me today shine my light here on earth as Christmas approaches and forgive those who sin against me.  I pray this in Jesus mighty name, Amen!

Stay God Blessed!

God is Light!

God is the giver of all things.  We are born into this world with nothing   We leave this world with nothing.  When we go back to our Heavenly Father, all that we take with us is our refined soul.

Let us Christians this Christmas remember this and let behave as the light of the world.  Let us refine ourselves through our generosity.  Let us give good gifts to others.  Let us give love, kindness, happiness, contentment and above all light to others for whom there appears to be only darkness!

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, You who gave the Light to this dark world, I humbly ask that You give me the fruits of the Holy Spirit, so that I may shine my light on earth.  I pray for the forgiveness of my sins as I forgive those who sin against me.  I pray all this in the wonderful name of my Lord and Saviour, the Light of the world, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed! All you wonderful children of God!

Forgive those who sin against you!

Christmas is a time for forgiveness.  It is a time for love and it is a time for family and friends.  It is a time of giving and sharing and caring.

Let us today do as Jesus did when He was on this earth.  Let us make an effort today to think of all the hurts we think that others have done to us and to consciously forgive them.  Let us then in prayer ask God to also forgive them.  Let us ask God to forgive us for all the hurt and pain we have caused others.

Let us today be humble, kind, caring, giving and forgiving!

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I humbly come before You today and I ask Father that you will forgive my sins.  I humbly forgive all those who have sinned against me.  Father today I humbly ask that You give me humility, kindness and gentleness.  Give me a spirit that looks more like Jesus.  I Pray this in the name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed!

Forgive those who persecute you!

God has promised us the gift of eternal life through the life, death and resurrection of His Son Jesus Christ.  God tells us to forgive those who sin against us. He forgives us of our sins and in the same way we need to forgive others as they sin against us.

This is a very difficult thing to do as we Human Beings love to bear a grudge.  However we are called on not to do this.  Let us all make a concerted effort this Christmas to celebrate the life of our Lord and Saviour Christ Jesus, by being forgiving to others.  Let us remember their sins no more!

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, I am so grateful to You for Your enormous sacrifice in sending Your Son to die on a cross for my sins.  I humbly ask that You forgive me sins AS I forgive those who sin against me.  I ask this in the powerful name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed!

The Holy Spirit given to us by God!

God has sent His Holy Spirit to live in each one of us.  When we hear that small voice inside of us, it is not our imagination.  It is the Holy Spirit.

Therefore let us today glory in our sufferings, because we know that through this when we persevere,  the Holy Spirit is poured out into each one of us!

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, today I thank You for sending Your mighty Counsellor, Your Holy Spirit to live in me.  I thank You for Your immense Grace.  Father today I pray that through my sufferings, I produce perseverance and character and hope.  I know that hope will never put me to shame when I hope for You.  I pray this in the name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed!

Jesus the light of the world!

Jesus is the Light of the world.  What a powerful statement!  When we walk with Jesus we will only be in the light.  This is the promise.

This Christmas make sure that we Christians on earth show the world the Light!  Let us put on all our Christmas lights in our homes.  Let us fill our Churches with light and music and joy.  Let us lift our voices in songs and praise! Let us be like Jesus, generous, kind, humble, compassionate.  Slow to anger and swift to forgive and to love one another as He loves us.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, I thank You for sending the Light of the world to us.  I thank You for the life of Jesus here on earth.  I thank You that he sits at Your right hand and that through His blood I am forgiven of all my sins.  I pray today Father, that any sins I have committed You will graciously forgive as I forgive those who sin against me. I pray this in the name of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed!

Sunday 10 December 2017

Jesus is born!

Isaiah7:14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.

God sent His only Son Jesus Christ to live with us a we do here on earth.  Immanuel means "God with us."

As we move towards Christmas day let us meditate on the huge sacrifice Jesus made in order that we may eternal life in God our Father.

We are so blessed, let us pass those blessings on to others!

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, I cannot imagine the agony you endured watching Your Son being born and knowing that He had to die for us to live.  Your Grace is immense and I thank You Father today, that You love me so much.  I love You Father, and I thank You Father.  I pray that you will forgive my sins as I forgive those who sin against me.  I pray this in the name of my Lord and Saviour,  Jesus Christ .  Amen.

Stay God Blessed!

Jesus is the light of the world!

Jesus is the light of the world.  That is why we celebrate His light by putting up lights at Christmas.  Jesus is the ONLY way to get to God.  He is the ONLY truth.  Let us not be deceived into thinking that there is any other way to get to God.

This Christmas let us celebrate the birth of our Saviour by shining our lights really brightly and by spreading the Good News!  Let us share the Kingdom of Heaven by showing our light, by being humble, gentle, kind and good.  Let us show the world that Christianity is not self serving but serving others.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, today I thank You that You sent the light of world into this world.  I thank You for the life of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Today I pray for the forgiveness of my sins and I pray that You will forgive those who sin against me.  I forgive them Father today.  I pray all of this in the name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed!

God's Grace!

God is merciful!  God is Gracious!  He forgives us of all of our sins.

What we need to do to accept God's grace is to ASK for forgiveness of our sins.  It is not an automatic forgiveness.  The Bible is full of verses referring to this.  "Ask and Ye shall receive, seek and ye shall find, knock and the door shall be opened." (Matthew 7:7)

To become one of God's children, we need to accept this beautiful Grace of God, by asking for it.

Prayer:  Heavenly Gracious Father, today I confess all my sins to You O God.

I ask humbly that You will forgive me for any and all sins that I have committed, knowingly or unknowingly.  I ask that where I have hurt others, You forgive me.  I ask that where I have caused others to sin, You forgive me.  I ask that you wash me clean in the Blood of my Saviour, Jesus Christ .  I forgive all those who sin against me and I hold no grudge whatsoever against them.

Today I accept that Jesus Christ is Your Son, whom You sent to live on earth, to be crucified on the cross and to rise again and that He ascended into Heaven and that He sits at Your right hand.  I accept that He is the only Way, the only Truth and the only Life.

I humbly ask Father that I receive Your Grace through Jesus Christ my Lord and Saviour.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed!   You are indeed a Child of God!

Prayer:  Father today I give You all the Glory.  I give You all the thanks.  I am indeed so grateful to You Heavenly Father, for my life and for the Grace that You give me each and every day.  I say all of this in the name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

God at work in us!

God is at work in us every day when we believe that His only Son, Jesus Christ,  is our Saviour.  God talks to us through our daily reading of His word.  When we pray to Him, He gives us signs and replies to us.   What we need to do is accept that God loves us, that He wants a relationship with us and He is our Creator.

Let God work in us today.  Let us come to Him and ask for His wonderful power and love in our lives and see how immeasurably more He is able to do in us today.

Prayer:  Awesome Heavenly Father, thank You that You are in my life.  Thank You that You will answer me when I talk to You.  Thank You that You are the power and love living in me. Father today, show me Your immeasurable power. I pray this in the name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed!

God Our Rock!

God is our Rock!  There truly is no one we know that can remotely compare to our Father, our Creator!

When we look at the image above and we know that  our God is as immovable, as unchangeable as this rock, then we begin to grasp the magnitude of our Father.

God is our fortress in times of trouble. He is our shelter. He is our Redeemer. He is our strength.  He is our Saviour. He is our Father.  He is our all in all!

Prayer: Heavenly Father God, thank You that You are indeed our Rock on whom we can depend for all our needs.  Let us build our lives upon You Father! Today we pray in Jesus holy name, that You will always remain in our lives and that we can spend eternity with You.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed!

Sunday 3 December 2017

Let us not grow weary!

God is truly amazing.  This verse says it all!  Let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due time, we shall reap.

Let us today make a concerted effort to do good.  And let us do it in the spirit of Christmas, with a good heart and let us not show the world that we are tired, even if we are!

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, I thank You today that You showed me this message and I ask in Jesus Name, that I may take it to my heart and practice it in sincerity today.  I pray Father that You show where I may do good today.  In Jesus Name.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed!

Christ is Born!

As God promised in the old Testament, He sent His only Son to die for our sins.  To be crucified in a terrible way so that we can be forgiven and have eternal life.  Christ rose from the dead on the third day and He ascended into Heaven 40 days after he rose, so that we are all saved!

What an awesome God we serve.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, I thank you in Jesus Holy Name, that You did this for me.  Today Father, I repent and humbly ask that You might forgive me of all my sins.  I  forgive all those who sin against me.  I pray this in Jesus Name.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed!

Tuesday 28 November 2017

Ask and it shall be given unto you!

God is truly amazing.  However God gave us His only Son to die for our sins that we might be forgiven.  The above verse is often misunderstood and we ask God to give us things and then wonder why we do not receive them.  What God wants us to do is ASK for forgiveness of our sins.  Then He will forgive us.  It does not work any other way.

We need to truly repent, and come to God and Seek His forgiveness, His love and His grace.  God reads our hearts and when our hearts are pure, He will grant us anything we want.

We must be pure of heart and our intentions must never be for selfish gain.  We will NOT receive either His forgiveness, His grace or His mercy  or the answers to our prayers if we do not actively knock on God's door.  God gave us free will.  Let us use that to approach the throne of our Lord, our Saviour and our God in Heaven.

Prayer:  Father God, I come before you today and I truly repent of my sins.  Where I have wronged others, where I have hurt others, where I have not done anything that might have helped, I ask for Your grace and mercy and Your forgiveness.

I ask Heavenly Father that You grant me Your grace and Your mercy.  I undertake to forgive all those who have sinned against me as You forgive me.  I ask all of this in the name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed.

Monday 27 November 2017

Be Humble!

God wants us to be humble.  This does not mean that we need to be lesser people.  It means that we need to think less of ourselves and think more about others.  In other words, spend less time thinking about ourselves and more time thinking about others.

Jesus when asked, said "suffer the little children to come unto me".  (Matthew 19:14).  We need to become as little children in order to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.

Today, let us think about the needs of others before we think of ourselves.  Let us become more humble.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, I pray that You give me a humble heart.  Let me always think of others before I think of myself.  Let me become Your child in every way.  I pray this in the name of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed!

Sunday 26 November 2017

A new Creation!

When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, when we believe in the resurrection, we become a "new creation".  The profound mystery of a Holy Trinity, our God the Father, our God the Son and our God, the Holy Spirit, is what creates us anew.

Through this belief, we are guaranteed eternal life.  What we need to do to accept this gift,  is  to love our God with all our hearts, our minds, our souls and our strength.  We need to forgive those who sin against us.  We need to ask God for forgiveness of our sins.  Last, but not least, we need to love our neighbours as ourselves.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, Thank You that I am created anew in my belief in You.  Thank you that You forgive my sins.  Thank You that You love me and that I can share that love with my neighbour.  I forgive those who sin against me.  I pray this in the name of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed!

God promises to heal our land!

God promises that as His CHRISTIAN people,  that if we truly repent and turn from our wicked ways, He will heal our land.  This also applies to our lives.  God reads our hearts.  If we do not truly forgive others, if we are not truly sorry, then we will not be healed.  We will not have eternal life!

In healing us, God sends His Holy Spirit to dwell in us and our land.  (Our land is also the spot of land that we live on, not just our Country.)

As inhabitants of our Country we need to pray for forgiveness of our sins and the promise of God is that He WILL heal our land.

It is clearly written down that God promises that He will do this. All God's promises are completely trustworthy.  We just need to OBEY HIM!

Prayer:  Father God, my Father, I humbly today ask that you forgive  ALL of my sins.  I forgive all those who sin against me.  Father those sins that I have forgotten I committed, forgive them.  I ask that You forgive my family and friends for their sins.  I ask that You forgive the people of this Country their sins.

Father I TRULY forgive all those who sin against me, whether they know that they sin against me or not.

I pray this in the Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, who lived and died and rose again to give me life in eternity with You.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed.

Love is Patient!

As Christians, when we draw closer to God, the fruit of the Spirit becomes more obvious.  When we know that God is with us and that He is in charge of our lives then our  spiritual fruits grow.  And against this, there is no law as Paul wrote to the Galatians.

In the above verse using this translation the word for patience is forbearance.  This is such a lovely term for patience as it makes us able to "bear" more than we often do.   Today let us as Christians, shine out all the gifts of the Holy Spirit to all the people we meet.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, today I pray that I may be a living testimony to the fruits of the Holy Spirit.  Let my love, joy, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control radiate to all the people that I meet with and interact with.
I pray this in the Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed!

Love is kind!

In the first book of Corinthians Paul expounds on exactly what love is.  As all the writings in the Bible are the word of God, we can trust that this is straight from our God in Heaven.

God says that love does not delight in evil but rejoices in the truth.  It always protects and always trusts, always hopes and always perseveres.  What an AWESOME GOD we serve!

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, I thank You that You love me in such a truly unconditional way.  I thank You that I can talk to You every day.  I thank You that I can read Your word and that Your word gives me such inspiration! Amen.

Stay God Blessed!

Be humble!

God calls upon us to be humble, patient and to love one another.  God also loves us so much that He sent His Son Jesus Christ to die for us. He took all our sins on His Son's shoulders.

Let us make a concerted effort today to remember these qualities and to put them into practice.  Let us try to be more like Jesus!

Prayer: Awesome God my Father in Heaven, I thank You for Your sacrifice in watching Your Son die on a cross for my sins.  I thank You that You love us all so selflessly.  Father help me to be patient, humble and kind.  I ask this in Jesus Christ of Nazareth's name.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed!

Wednesday 22 November 2017

Praise God for He will guide you!

God is always there for us.  All we need to do is ask Him for His help.  This is such a simple statement, but it is always true.  God reads our hearts and knows each one of us.  He created us and He has a plan for us.

Let us today make a concerted effort to get to know God; really get to know Him!.  Let us read our Bibles in order to learn His word, and pray to Him so that when we ask for help we know that He is at hand.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father I pray today that I get to know You better.  Help me today Father to make time to read my Bible and remind me to take everything to You in prayer.  I pray this in the name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed!

God will sanctify you!

When Paul wrote to the Thessalonians, he told them that he was praying for God to sanctify them.  The word sanctify means to "purify, make free from sin".

So Paul in his writings to the people of Thessalonica states that his prayer for them is that they are purified and made free from sin by and through God's grace.

The Bible is full of verses showing the love of God for each one of us.  We are promised that if we believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that if we believe that He was born as a normal child; that He lived on earth among us; that He died for us and that He rose on the third day and sits at the right hand of God, we are sanctified through the grace of God.

Our next step is to pray for forgiveness of our sins and to forgive those who sin against us.

We need to put God first in our lives and we need to have a relationship with Him by reading His word daily and by praying to Him about everything.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, today I pray that You will forgive my sins as I forgive those who sin against me.  I pray that You will grant me Your grace and give me Your peace.  I pray this in the Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed!

Peace!

When we pray and give thanks to our wonderful Creator, God our Father in Heaven, then the Bible tells us in Philippians that the peace which transcends ALL understanding will guard our hearts.

Meditate on that thought today.  It is guaranteed that when we thank God, we will have His peace.  So today, let us thank God from the bottom of our hearts that He is our Father and for His abounding love and grace.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, today I THANK YOU for Your love of me.  I thank You for Your Son Jesus Christ and I thank You for the Holy Spirit that I know lives in me.  I thank You in the name of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  Amen!

Stay Blessed!

Joy!

God is in control of our lives.  We need to accept that in life we will face trials and tribulations. However when we face the problems we increase our perseverance.  Through this process, our characters are refined and our faith strengthened.

So let's face adversity with joy!

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, thank You that You refine me.  Thank you that You are with me whenever I face any problems in my life.  I ask that You forgive my sins as I forgive those who sin against me.  I pray this in the name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed!

God is Unfathomable!

Our God is truly amazing!  There is nothing to compare to Him!  He made us all and calls us all by name!  He knows every hair on our heads, and He wants us to come to Him.  He wants us to spend eternity with Him.  He sent His Son to die for us, to rise again and to go before us to prepare a place for us in Heaven.

How blessed we are to have a Father like this!

Prayer:  Almighty Father, I remain completely in awe of Your majesty.  Thank You for making me and for wanting me.  I pray Father that I treat all humanity with the same love as You have for me.  I pray this in the name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed!

Nothing can separate us from the Love of God

As Christians, we believe that Jesus Christ died to save us from our sins and rose again and sits at the right hand of God our Father.

Paul in Romans says that when we believe in this divine Grace, absolutely nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus.

How awesome is this!

Prayer:  Heavenly Holy Father God, thank You! Thank You and thank You again!  You are such a Gracious God, who sacrificed Your only Son so that I might live in the fullness of the Love of Jesus Christ.  Father today I pray that You will forgive my sins as I forgive those who sin against me.  Help me to love my neighbours as I love myself.  I love YOU Father.  I pray all this in the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Saviour.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed!

Fear Not

God tells us not to fear for He is with us.  This is so hard to do in this modern world where we all want to take control of our own destiny.  We want to be in charge!

God tells us not to do this, but to SURRENDER to Him in everything.

Today let us make a concerted effort to give everything over to Him.  He is MIGHTY.  Nothing is to hard for god.

In 2 Kings 20: 8 -11 we read that when King Hezekiah wanted a sign from God that he would live for fifteen years longer, God made the shadow go back 10 steps!.  That means that God literally moved the earth on its axis!  If God can do this to show Hezekiah that he would live longer, how much more can He achieve in our lives!

We just need to give it all to Him!

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, today I surrender my all to You.  I ask Father that You take all my troubles and all my fears and all my life and You take control Father.

I ask this in the name of my Lord and Saviour, Christ Jesus. Amen.

Stay Blessed!

Jesus laid down His life that we might be saved!

Our Heavenly Father loves each and every one of us so much that He sent His Son, our Shepherd, Jesus Christ to save us from our sins.

When we ask God for forgiveness, He forgives us.  So must we forgive each other.  We must remember those sins against us no more.  We must not carry even the slightest grudge if we want God to forgive us of our sins.

Prayer:  Awesome Heavenly Father, thank You that You forgive my sins as I forgive those who sin against me.  I thank You Father that You sent Your Son to die for my sins.  I pray this in Jesus Name.  Amen.

Stay Blessed!

Feed My Sheep

Jesus tells us that if we love Him, we need to feed His sheep.  This means that once we believe that Jesus is our Lord and our Saviour, in order to demonstrate that we truly love HIm, we are responsible to feed His sheep.

The Bible goes on to tell us that Jesus knows His sheep by name.  We are His sheep.  Therefore we cannot see someone hungry and not do anything about it.  We are truly our brother's keepers.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, today I pray that You give me Your sheep to feed and that I do this willingly and in God's Name.  I pray that I may always see Your hungry sheep and have the heart to feed them!  I pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ my Lord and my Saviour.  Amen.

Stay Blessed!

We are Blessed!

We need to trust in God for everything.  He is in charge and He knows what we need and when we need it.  It is in believing that we will receive and in believing that God is our Creator and our Provider that He will provide for us.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, thank You that You know me and that You will provide for me.  Today I pray Father that You will give me my daily bread.  I pray that You will forgive my sins as I forgive those who sin against me.  I pray this in the name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay Blessed!

God is Everlasting!

Prayer:  Father God, You are EVERYTHING to me!  I pray today Father that You bless me and be with me in everything I think, say and do.  I ask this in the name of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!  Amen.

Stay Blessed!

Understand God's will for our lives!

God created us.  He has a plan for us.  Too often we get caught up in spending time wondering what our purpose here on earth is.  What we are supposed to be doing with our lives.

We need to hand over the reigns of our life into God's hands.  We need to listen to His plan and to action it sooner rather than later.

We can do this through prayer and through daily reading of His word.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, I pray today that You will take over my life.  I hand it to You.  I pray in Jesus Name that You will show me what to do with my life and what You want from me.  Amen!

Stay Blessed!

Jesus will return

Dear Christ followers, of one thing we can be very sure, Jesus will come back to this earth in exactly the same way that HE left the earth...
