The Grace of GOD

If we have not accepted the Grace of our GOD, we are not saved.  What do we mean by this?

Through HIS enormous love of each one of us, GOD decided to give us all a second chance after the sin of this world.  We are all born into sin.  Therefore, in order to save us and give us the opportunity to live an eternal life with GOD, HE sent HIS only Son Jesus Christ to live on earth.  To be crucified in a horrible way and to die on a cross.  This is not a metaphoric way of talking.  Jesus lived on this earth as you and I live.  He died as we will die.  But He rose from the dead and in doing so He fulfilled the Grace of GOD which gives us all a chance to be born again.

When we accept the above and know that Jesus took all our sins with Him to the cross.  When we accept that He conquered the grave and rose again and sits at the right hand of our FATHER GOD, we can have eternal life.  But we have to believe this.  Not just say it and know it.  We need to believe it a thousand percent, without any doubts.

Then in order to accept the grace of GOD, we need to repent of our sins.  We need to forgive those who have sinned against us and conclude the contract to accept this grace.  The contract (and Jesus taught us this in the Lord's prayer), is to beg GOD for the forgiveness of our sins, and then to forgive those who have sinned against us. 

Today let us pray the Lord's prayer and say it with the true conviction of children of a living GRACIOUS GOD and HIS Son Jesus Christ.  Let us be born into the Holy Spirit and let them come and live in us.

Prayer:  Our FATHER, who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be THY Name,
THY will be done on earth as it is in Heaven,
Give us this day our daily bread,
And forgive us our trespasses AS we forgive those who trespass against us
Lead us not into temptation and deliver us from evil.

For THINE is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory,
Forever and ever.  Amen.

Do not add to the word of GOD

GOD has breathed HIS word into the Bible.  All scripture is GOD given and in the Bible we are told to not add anything to the word of GOD nor to take anything away from it.  

Sola Scriptura is the way we need to read GOD's word.  We need to read HIS word daily and to become familiar with what GOD has told us through the authors of the various books of the Bible.

We need to go to the Bible whenever someone tells us something that relates to scripture of belief.  If it is not in the Bible, it is not GOD's word.

Today let us make a concerted effort to read GOD's word every day.  Let us set aside quiet time to read the Bible and listen to what GOD is telling us.  If we are in doubt, we need to consult the word.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU that I have YOUR word and that I am free to read it.  FATHER open my eyes to YOUR words so that I understand what YOU are saying to me.  Let me never presume to add to YOUR words or to take away from them.  Rather, FATHER show me what YOU are telling me through the Bible.  I pray this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Jesus has prepared a place for us in Heaven!

Jesus came to earth and lived as mortal man.  He was crucified and suffered all the pain that we feel.  He was humiliated and He overcame it all to save us.  

Before He died, Jesus told His disciples that He was going before us to prepare a place for us in Heaven.  

We can get to Heaven, if we will just accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour.  He is the only way to Heaven.  He is the way, the truth and the life.  Without a faith in Jesus as our Saviour, we are simply not going to Heaven.

However, once we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, and truly believe that Jesus came to earth as the Son of God.  That he died and rose from the dead and ascended into Heaven and sits at the right hand of our FATHER GOD, we are saved.

Today is the day to say to accept this truth and to believe this truth in order to be saved.  Once we are saved, the Holy Spirit will come and live in us and the Holy Spirit convicts us of our sins.  Suddenly our lives appear like a palette of sins before us and we need to fall on our knees and beg GOD to forgive us.  We need to forgive all those who have sinned against us.  We are saved!  Our place in Heaven is prepared for us by Jesus Christ Himself!

Such is the grace of GOD.  Our magnificent FATHER in Heaven who loves us and sent HIS Son Jesus Christ to die for us so that we can have eternal life with HIM.  Praise GOD!  He is good!

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I love YOU and I accept YOUR grace.  I confess today that I believe that Jesus Christ is my Lord and my Saviour.  I believe that HE is YOUR Son sent to die for my sins, to rise from the dead and to ascend into Heaven.  I believe that He sits at YOUR right Hand and that He will judge both the quick and the dead.  

I beg YOU FATHER for the forgiveness of my sins.  I am truly sorry for all the things that I have done and things that I have not done, which I know that I should have done.  I forgive all those who have sinned against me.  FATHER I pray that YOU accept me as YOUR child.  I pray this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Our bodies are Holy to GOD

Hello dear fellow Children of the LIVING GOD.  I have been moving so it has been a difficult time with no internet.  It is finally up and running and I am back online and able to write my blog.

I trust that as we have been so richly GOD blessed, so have you all.  I have missed you all dearly and pray for everyone reading this to be truly touched by GOD today.

Moving made me realize my mortality and I was wondering how many more times on earth I might move.  It also got me thinking about my physical body.  I suddenly realized, and this may sound really dumb, why our bodies are the temple of the LORD.  

Of course, when we accept Jesus and are baptized with the Holy Spirit, they come to live in us.  A revelation!  I knew it all the time, but had never really thought it aloud.

This is why we as children of GOD need to take good care of ourselves.  We need to keep ourselves HOLY.  Not just in our thoughts but also in how we maintain our physical bodies.  We need to be clean, and well fed, well exercised, and nourished.  Our minds, certainly, but our bodies too.

Let us as children of this magnificent GOD whom we serve, also take good care of our physical bodies.  Let us draw close to GOD in prayer, but also in our daily routines.   Let us pray to GOD to help us look after his temples (our bodies) here on earth.  

Let us make better choices about what we put into our bodies, what we wear and how we treat the place where the Holy Spirit and indeed, Jesus live in us.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU for the body YOU gave me to live in.  I thank YOU that I am filled with the Holy Spirit.  I thank YOU that Jesus lives in my heart.  Help me to keep my body pure and my mind focused on YOU today.  I pray for all those reading this today that YOU would bless them in mind, in body, in soul and in the Holy Spirit.  I pray all of this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  My Lord and Saviour, who lives - in me.  Amen.

GOD has a plan for us!

GOD has a wonderful plan for each one of us.  Whether we know and accept this plan is up to us.   GOD created each one of uniquely.  We are fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of GOD. 

Therefore let us today draw close to our CREATOR and ask HIM what HE wants for our lives.  Let us listen for the voice of our MASTER, GOD.  Let us pray earnestly and fervently for GOD to reveal HIS perfect plan for each one us.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU for YOUR plan for my life.  Today I pray FATHER, that YOU will show me the path YOU want for my life.  Give me hope and a purpose.  Show me how to live my best life, following YOUR map for me.  I pray this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The Heavens declare the glory of GOD!

The Heavens declare the glory of GOD!  Whenever we step outside and look up at the stars and the sun and the moon, we need to remember that this is ALL GOD's creation.  HE created everything that we know and more that we do not even begin to understand.

We have never explored the bottom of the oceans.  We have never travelled to the centre of our own earth.  We cannot even begin to imagine leaving our own solar system.  If we travel to Mars it is going to be a non return journey.

And GOD created it all.  And GOD created you and me.  How wonderful and awesome is the GOD we serve!

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU that YOU are my FATHER in Heaven.  I thank YOU that YOU created the Heavens and the earth.  I thank YOU that YOU created me.  Today FATHER I thank YOU for all YOUR blessings.  I thank YOU for all YOUR grace.  I thank YOU for loving me and I love YOU FATHER.  

Forgive my sins as I forgive all those who sin against me.  

I pray all of this knowing that Jesus Christ, YOUR Son is my Saviour and my Lord and my Redeemer.  Amen.

YOU are my GOD!

When we know GOD, when we begin to have an understanding of the length and depth and breadth of GOD, then we start to know that we should trust HIM implicitly.  We need to put everything before HIM.  We should never attempt anything without consulting with HIM and finding out if our plans fit into HIS perfect plan for our lives.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, today I place all my plans before YOU and I humbly ask that YOU consider what we are about to do and show me YOUR perfect way.  I ask this in the Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen. 

Wait for the LORD!

GOD's timing is perfect.  I have learned that when I push things through without prayer and contemplating what GOD wants for my life, it is generally a total disaster.

When we pray to GOD and ask GOD to show us the way, we need to wait for GOD.  GOD will always give us perfect timing.  HIS plan is perfect.  And HIS time is not our time.

Today let us draw ourselves into GOD's plan and read HIS word and listen for HIS voice before we plan and we are bound to be far more successful in our ventures than pursuing our own agendas.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU that YOUR timing is always perfect.  Guide me FATHER to know YOUR voice and to listen for YOUR voice and rather to follow YOUR perfect timing that to pursue my own agenda.  I pray this in the Holy name of my Lord and Saviour, my Redeemer, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Trust GOD!

GOD commands us to be strong and courageous.  HE is always with us.  HE never leaves us or forsakes us.  Sometimes we may feel that we are all alone.  But this is not true.  All we need to do is call on GOD and HE is always there.

GOD hears our prayers.  We sometimes think that HE does not.  This again is not true.  GOD listens to every word we utter and HE wants us to talk to HIM about everything.  HE is our FATHER and HE wants a living relationship with each one us.  We are precious to HIM.

Draw close to our FATHER in Heaven today and talk to HIM, knowing that HE is listening to us.  This will give us courage.  Read HIS word and know that this makes HIM much closer to us as HE can send us messages through the reading of HIS word.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU that YOU are always with me.  I thank YOU that I can talk to YOU about anything and everything.  FATHER give me courage today to face tomorrow, in the knowledge that with YOU I can do anything.  I thank YOU FATHER for the grace I have received through my Redeemer, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Lead me FATHER!

We need to ask GOD to lead us in everything we do.  Without GOD we are nothing and we can do nothing.   GOD is our salvation and we have to wait for HIS direction in our lives.  We may believe that we can do anything and achieve anything, but without GOD and an eternal life, it is totally meaningless.

Today let us draw close to our FATHER and ask HIM for HIS divine intervention in our lives.  Let us give our all over to HIM.  Let us put our lives in HIS hands.  Let us read HIS word and worship HIM.  Let us give thanks to our FATHER in Heaven for HIS grace and HIS mercy and HIS salvation.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU that YOU are my salvation.  Today FATHER I humbly ask that from here on in, YOU direct my path and make it straight.  I ask FATHER that YOU show me the way to an eternal life with YOU.

I ask this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The LORD shall direct our path!

King Solomon, when asked by GOD to ask for anything he wished, asked for wisdom.  So the Bible tells us that King Solomon was the wisest man that ever lived on earth.  People came from far and wide to hear his wisdom.  We only need to remember the story of the two women who came to him with the one dead and one living baby and how he sought out the real mother by offering to cut the living baby in two, to know that he was indeed extremely wise.

GOD created us in HIS own image, but it is up to us to learn to be wise.  Wisdom comes when we begin to understand that we really know nothing.  We are babes compared to GOD our CREATOR.  HE can do anything and without HIM in our lives we are nothing.

Therefore today, let us draw on the wisdom of GOD and learn to lean on HIM and not on our own understanding.  Let us take everything to HIM and ask HIM to lead us and let us not try to direct our own ways.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER I pray that YOU will lead me and show me the way that I need to take to make my path to YOU straight.  Let me always take the narrow path with YOU at my side rather than the wide path which will lead me to destruction and death.  I pray for the forgiveness of my sins, my stubbornness and my selfishness.  

I pray FATHER that YOU forgive me where I have chosen the wrong path against what I knew to be right.  Lord I forgive all those who have sinned against me in any way. 

I pray this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom!

We need to fear the LORD!  What exactly does this mean?  Well for people who have no relationship with GOD this is a really intimidating thought.  But if we stop and think about GOD and right-size our GOD, we start to understand that GOD is awesome and for that reason, we will probably be really scared when we are faced with the prospect of seeing HIM.

The Bible tells us that no-one has see the face of GOD and lived.  Ezekial, the prophet, when faced with GOD coming down from Heaven, kept falling flat on his face.

Can we possibly imagine that as much as we are in awe we are of rock stars, presidents, queens and kings, how much more awesome our GOD is.  

Our GOD has done things we cannot even imagine and things we will never see with our own eyes while we are alive.  HE created the whole universe.  And HE spoke it into existence.  We are fearfully and wonderfully made and yet the Bible tells us that GOD imagined us into being long before we were born.  We are not an accident.  Regardless of what our parents may tell us.

Therefore the wisest man on earth, King Solomon, whom even the Queen of Sheba came to consult with, tells us that the fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom.  Truly that is so.  When we have a relationship with GOD and we see the miracles of HIS creation and the miracles that HE performs on a minute to minute basis, then we start to understand who our GOD actually is.  And with that comes a sure knowledge that in HIS presence we are going to be totally over awed and yes, even fearful!

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU that YOU are awesome and that I will probably also, like Ezekial, fall flat on my face when I meet with YOU someday.  I thank YOU that I worship a GOD that is so huge that my problems are really small to YOU and that YOU can do anything.

Today FATHER, help me to understand the magnitude of YOUR creation and indeed of YOU.  I pray this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, my Redeemer, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay fearfully, awesomely GOD blessed today!

Great is our GOD!

Our GOD is truly great!  Great in every sense of the word.  HIS mercy is great.  HE loves us and HE forgives us.  

Great are HIS deeds.  We just need to step outside at night to see the wonder of the Heavens and the majesty of the stars, whom GOD calls forth by name.  

Great is HIS faithfulness.  GOD fulfills HIS promises to us.  HE promised to redeem us from our sins and this is foretold throughout the old Testament.  So GOD sent HIS lamb, HIS Son, Jesus Christ to live on earth, to be cruelly crucified on a cross.  But GOD promised that HE would raise Jesus from the dead and HE did.  Jesus rose on the third day and as promised faithfully by GOD, He now sits at the right hand of our FATHER.

GOD is merciful.  GOD helps those who ask HIM.  We are told this over and over and as I have written in the pages on the right of this blog, GOD has helped me when I have called out to HIM.  HE has also used me to help others.  Again read the pages on the right hand side of this blog to see firsthand evidence of this.  Click on the page and it will come up as a new page. 

GOD is righteous and HE has no sin.  GOD is all powerful.  Nothing is impossible for HIM.

Today let us fall down on our knees and as David did in this Psalm, let us worship our Mighty GOD, our Gracious FATHER.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU for YOUR enormous grace, YOUR power, YOUR majesty, YOUR goodness.  FATHER today, I call on YOU to help me.  Help me with all the troubles of the world that are currently affecting my life.  Help me to overcome in praise and worship of YOU FATHER. 

I pray this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, my Redeemer, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD has searched us and HE knows us!

How wonderful to know that GOD has searched us and that HE knows us.  HE has known us since before we were born.  HE has known our going out and our coming in.  HE knitted us together in our mother's womb. HIS eyes saw our unformed bodies.

GOD has a perfect plan for each one of us.  We may not know what it is or how it will unfold, but HE has the master plan.

What we need to do is to put aside trying to do things on our own and step into GOD's plan.

We do this by conversing daily with GOD and by giving everything to GOD before we start to do it.  We need to pray daily and continually.  We need to be very familiar with the word of GOD and this we do by reading our Bibles. We need a living relationship with our CREATOR. 

Prayer: ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that YOU know me.  YOU know me better than I know myself and YOU have searched me.  I pray today FATHER that YOU guide me on the right path and that YOU light up my path when I am on it.  I pray FATHER that I draw closer to YOU and I pray all of this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The Rapture!

No one can claim to know when Jesus will come back to this earth.  The Bible tells us that very clearly.  Not even Jesus knows.  Only the FATHER.

However, one thing is for sure, He is coming back and He is going to fetch first the dead who are going to Heaven and secondly the living who are His children.

Therefore it can be today, tomorrow, or next year or in the next hundred years.  We need to be ready each and every day.  We need to live each and every day as if it is our last as we simply do not know the time or the hour.

Today make the effort and decide that we are going with Jesus up to Heaven.  Decide that we want to live with Him in eternity and start to grow our relationship with our Heavenly FATHER GOD.   Repent of our sins.  Forgive those who have sinned against us and start to read our Bibles and listen for GOD's word in our lives.

Today let us get ready to be raptured!

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU for YOUR promises.  YOU have fulfilled all YOUR promises to me so we know that YOU are not going to let me down ever.  Let me be ready so that if YOU rapture me today, I will spend eternity with YOU and Jesus and the Holy Spirit. 

I forgive all those who have sinned against me and I pray that YOU forgive my sins today.  I ask all of this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.  

The LORD is near!

GOD is always with us.  What we need to do is to call on HIM in truth.  How do we do this?

If we do not have a living relationship with GOD we cannot expect to know HIM.  We cannot expect to hear HIS voice if we do not know what we are listening for.

Therefore let us draw close to our magnificent GOD and read HIS word daily.  Let us pray to HIM continually and speak to HIM about everything. 

That way when we call on HIM it is in truth.  HE is our FATHER and Jesus is HIS Son.    

Prayer: ABBA FATHER, today I want to draw close to YOU and I want a living relationship with YOU.  Help me to read YOUR word daily and to understand what YOU are telling me.  Help me to know YOU in truth.  I pray this in the knowledge that Jesus is my Saviour.  Amen.

Stay truthfully GOD blessed today!
