GOD wants us to love one another, just as HE loves us. Therefore in GOD's name and for GOD we need to be kind and compassionate to each other. Forgiveness is so important.
When we hold grudges, we are slaves to the sin. It consumes us and it makes us ill. When we let go of the hurts others have inflicted on us, we are set free to love unconditionally. Therefore, for our own sake, GOD wants us to be free of the shackles of unforgiveness. Following on from that, GOD freely forgives us our sins and moves them as far as East is from West. Meaning that they are remembered no more.
Today let us put aside all the hurts and cast off the unforgiveness. Let us allow the Holy Spirit to convict us of our sins and let us turn to GOD and beg HIM to forgive us. Once we are forgiven, we MUST forgive AS we are forgiven by GOD.
Prayer: Heavenly FATHER, thank YOU for forgiving me. I forgive all those who have sinned against me. Thank YOU for YOUR mercy and YOUR grace. I pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ. My Lord and my Redeemer. Amen.
