We are called according to the purpose of GOD!

When we love GOD, we are called by GOD to work according to HIS purpose.  That means that we have to work together for good.  

In other words, we cannot profess to love GOD and yet not want to do good things.  Naturally the more we love, the more love we have to give.  And loving GOD is the greatest love of all.  And this means that literally, we start bursting with love the more we love GOD.

The only way we can manifest our great love of GOD is to do good things.

It is not going to get us to Heaven to do good things, but it will make our lives on earth much richer.  The giver always gets far more pleasure than the recipient.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU that I can love YOU.  I love YOU FATHER, and I ask that YOU send me to do good things on earth.  I confess that I am a sinner, but I humbly ask that YOU use me to YOUR glory on earth.  I ask this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Believe GOD always!

I have written about this before.  GOD never ever leaves us or forsakes us.  Only we leave GOD or forsake HIM.

Now to have effective prayer, we need to be in a relationship with GOD.  We need to find GOD and we can do that through reading HIS word on a day to day basis.  We need to talk to GOD about everything and we need to go to GOD with everything.

Tonight, I am asking GOD to hear my prayers for Savannah (my granddaughter) and heal her completely.  Whatever it is that is making her ill, please FATHER heal her.  

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, I am asking YOU to please heal Savannah completely tonight.  I am asking this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

We are saved by the Grace of GOD!

Let us never consider ourselves "worthy" of the Grace of GOD.  For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of GOD.

And yet, if we will but confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord.  If we will confess our sins to GOD and ask for forgiveness, we are saved.

So let us never boast about the things we have done on earth.  For nothing can get us into Heaven, except Jesus Christ.  When people disavow Jesus, they lose the right to spend eternity with GOD.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, thank YOU for YOUR grace which I accept through Jesus Christ, my Lord and my Saviour.  FATHER forgive me for I have sinned.  Forgive me as I forgive those who have sinned against me.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Tonight as I come to the end of a long and difficult week, I thank YOU FATHER, that YOU have been with me throughout.  I thank YOU that I can always count on YOU.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU for being with me every step of my life.  I pray tonight that each and every person reading this is blessed by YOU and can feel that YOUR face is turned on them. I pray for peace in my life and that of everyone reading this.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD's time is perfect!

In life, we tend to become impatient when things don't happen the way we want.  So we try to push and push.  However, when we finally see things happening, we realize that this the way of the Lord.  

GOD's timing is perfect and ours is not.  

This teaches us patience and also a certain amount of humility.  So it is character building and we should learn that GOD will do everything in HIS time.  Not ours. 

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU for YOUR perfect timing.  I thank YOU that build my character and strengthen me with patience.  I thank YOU that waiting also teaches me humility.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Seek the kingdom of GOD first!

Seek the Kingdom of GOD first.  

What exactly does this mean?  Well quite simply put, Jesus has told us that everything we do, everything we think, everything we say and everything that we plan for should be for the glory of GOD first.

If we do this, then all other things will be added unto us.  

So today, let us start planning our lives with the glory of GOD first.  Let us pray to GOD about everything.  Let us plan to be in the Kingdom of GOD rather than planning for our future on earth.  After all, we are going to spend eternity with GOD and we are definitely not going to spend eternity on earth.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU that I have YOU in my life.  Help me FATHER to seek YOUR way to run my life and help me to seek YOU in everything I think, say or do.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Attitude of Gratitude to GOD!

Our awesome FATHER in Heaven gives us such wonderful gifts.  But we need to remember to always keep in an attitude of gratitude and to never take things for granted or believe that we have somehow earned them.

GOD gives us everything we have.  All great achievements are GOD given.  Tonight I want to thank GOD for all that I am.  I want to thank GOD for all that I have.  I want to thank GOD for all the wonderful things that HE has granted me.

I want to thank GOD for my wonderful family, my friends, my home, my life and all that I have.  I want to thank GOD for making me the person that I am.  I want to thank GOD for all my blessings.

Prayer;  ABBA FATHER, I do not know how to thank YOU for all my blessings.  I love YOU FATHER.  I adore YOU FATHER.  THANK YOU.  Amen.

Children of GOD!

We are not born of the will of man.  We are born of the will of GOD.  This is not my opinion, this is a fact.

Without GOD breathing life into us, we would not exist.  We, through our faith in Jesus, being the Son of GOD, are given the right to be children of GOD.

So as children of GOD, let us try to behave as true sons and daughters of the Most High FATHER, GOD.  Let us love one another.  Let us forgive one another.  Let us give of ourselves to each other.  But most of all, let us adore our FATHER in Heaven.  Without our FATHER in Heaven, we would be but empty shells.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, thank you that YOU are my FATHER and that I am YOUR child.  Forgive my sins as I forgive all those who sin against me.  Show me how to be a better child of YOURS.  I ask this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

We must believe in GOD!

When we have faith, we believe in GOD.  Without faith, we cannot believe that GOD is our Creator.  Therefore in Hebrews we read that GOD tells us to come to HIM believing that HE is our CREATOR.

We must have this faith in GOD and know that HE sent HIS Son to die for us.  We must know that Christ rose up from the dead and that He ascended into Heaven and that He sits at the right hand of GOD our FATHER.  We must know that no one, no one and absolutely no one will get to GOD except through our Saviour, Jesus Christ.

So let us examine our Faith.  Let us believe that GOD is our FATHER and Jesus is our Redeemer.  Then let us seek GOD and we will surely find HIM.  Let us confess our sins to GOD and let us beg GOD to forgive our sins.  Let us then love one another to forgive all those who sin against us.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU that YOU are my CREATOR and that Jesus is my Saviour.  FATHER I believe in YOU and through this I have faith in life everlasting.  Forgive my sins as I forgive all those who sin against me.  I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

I sought the LORD!

Jesus was very clear when He said, seek and ye shall find, knock and the door shall be opened unto you.

We have to look for GOD.  But GOD never looks for us because HE knows exactly where we are and exactly what we are doing.  Nothing that we do is not known to GOD.

Therefore, when we pray, GOD knows that we need HIM and HE is listening.  HE does not promise to give us everything we ask for, but HE does promise us that we can pray to HIM about anything and everything.

Therefore, let us make it our habit to seek the attention of GOD each and every day and to take everything that we are doing to HIM in prayer.

Prayer: ABBA FATHER, may I always know that YOU are with me and that YOU are listening to me.  Help me FATHER to be righteous and therefore to make my prayers to YOU effective.  I ask this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Effective prayer!

When we pray we need to come before GOD in an attitude of gratitude.  We need to have cleared our consciences.  This is done by confessing our sins to GOD and also acknowledging that we are willing to forgive those who have sinned against us.

Without these things, we are going to find that our connection to GOD is much like a broken telephone.  We can pray to GOD but we are going to get messages that we do not understand or that we cannot decipher.

Today let us come before GOD and offer gratitude for all our blessings.  Let us name them and count them.  Then let us ask GOD to forgive our sins.  Then let us forgive those who have sinned against us.  But let us really mean this.  And then let us confess with our mouths that Jesus is our Lord, our Saviour, our Redeemer.  Let us confess to GOD that we accept that the only way to get to our FATHER in Heaven is through our Lord Jesus Christ.

After we have done this, we are going to find a tremendous difference in the way our prayers are answered.

And the change will be in ourselves because GOD is one hundred percent consistent and HE never changes.  Only we can change.

Prayer;  Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU that I have been blessed so richly.  I pray FATHER that YOU continue to bless me FATHER.  FATHER forgive my sins as I forgive those who have sinned against me.  I accept Jesus as my Lord and my Saviour.  Amen.

Pray about everything!

We need to pray to GOD about everything and all the time.  When we have good times or bad we need to pray to GOD and tell HIM.  Let us get into the excellent habit of talking to our FATHER in Heaven as much as we think.

Prayer;  ABBA FATHER, I can talk to YOU about anything and everything.  Help me to share all the aspects of my life with YOU.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Faith!

GOD has shown us HIS righteousness.  GOD has shown us that HE always keeps HIS promises to us.  GOD has given us the Bible, the Word of GOD, inerrant and always reliable.  And all that GOD asks of us is that we have faith in HIM.

Today, let us all make a concerted effort to live by faith in our one hundred percent trustworthy FATHER.  Let us live by faith.  Let us walk by faith.  Let us share our faith with one another.  Let us encourage one another to continually be faithful to our FATHER and to each other.

Let us love one another and in doing so let us love our FATHER in Heaven.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, YOU are so faithful to us.  Show us how to be more faithful to YOU and to each other.  Teach us to love one another as YOU love us.

We ask this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Our Lord and our Redeemer. Amen.

Trust in GOD only!

GOD is our FATHER and our CREATOR.  GOD knows everything on earth and in heaven.

Why, then, would we trust ourselves over GOD?  So therefore, let us put all our trust in GOD our FATHER, who knows everything.  Let us take each and every decision to HIM in prayer.  Through prayer and reading our Bibles, GOD will talk to us and tell us when we are on the right or the wrong path.

So today, let us make a conscious decision not to trust ourselves, but to do everything through GOD our FATHER.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU that YOU know everything.  Help me today not to lean on my own understanding but to take everything to YOU first.

I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Teach me of GOD!

We need to constantly ask GOD to teach us HIS ways.  Our hope can only be in GOD.  If we put our hope in the things of this world, we are going to be disappointed.

We are also going to give away our chance to spend eternity with GOD.  

So today, let us put all our hope in GOD and ask our FATHER in Heaven to teach us HIS ways.  For they are perfect and the ways of this world are sadly lacking.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU that YOU know the perfect ways.  Please teach me YOUR ways FATHER.  I ask this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Jesus our Word!

Jesus is our Word.  Jesus is the Word.  Jesus is the Light.  Jesus is our Light.  Jesus is the Way.  Jesus is our Way to get to Heaven.  There simply is no other way.

Let us be mindful.  When people of other religions talk about us worshipping the "Same GOD", this is simply not true.

Our GOD sent HIS only Son, to live on earth, to die on a cross, taking all our sins on Him.  He washed our sins as white as snow on that cross.  So if people say we worship the same GOD, and their GOD did not send Jesus as our Redeemer, we are not worshipping the same GOD.

This is the way that Satan deceives us on earth.  He roams the earth and gives us falsehoods, which appear to be the truth.

Our GOD is awesome, loving and kind and forgiving.  But our GOD is a jealous GOD and HE wants us to know that HE sent HIS only Son to die for us.  To give us a chance to have eternal life with HIM.

We must never be deceived.  We must always judge everything against the Word of GOD, Jesus Christ, our only Lord and our Saviour.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU that I can come to YOU through Jesus Christ my Lord and my Saviour.  Today, FATHER, I confess my sins to YOU and I beg for YOUR forgiveness.  I forgive all those who have sinned against me.  I worship YOU FATHER, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.  Amen.

The Word of GOD shall remain forever!

The Word of GOD will never change and it will never pass away.  Our Heavens and our earth shall pass away.  But not the Word of GOD.

Let us read our Bibles and know the Word of GOD.  This is the one true and dependable thing in an ever changing world.  Let us pray to GOD and let us listen for HIS voice.

The Word of GOD is inerrant, infallible and unchanging.  It is not open to interpretation and it is not open to opinion.  When we read the Bible let us ask GOD to give us the ears to hear and the heart to understand what HE is saying to us.

Prayer;  Heavenly FATHER I thank YOU that I am able to read YOUR word daily.  Give me wisdom to understand that what I read is from YOU and is of YOU and that YOU are my strength and my shield.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Give thanks to GOD!

We need to pray continually to GOD our FATHER for everything.  GOD gives us all that we have and without getting from GOD we have absolutely nothing to give.

Now some may argue that they earn what they get.  This is simply not true.  GOD created everything including the work that we have to do.  So if GOD did not create everything, we would not have any work and we could not earn anything.

So today, let us go down in prayer and worship our CREATOR and praise HIS Holy Name and thank HIM for not only creating the whole world, the universe and everything that is in it, but also for the work that we have to do.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that I get from YOU.  Without YOU giving me everything that I have, I would have nothing to give.  I praise YOUR Holy Name FATHER, and I worship YOU.  In an attitude of gratitude, I thank YOU in the Name of my Lord and my Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD exalted

GOD is the glory and the power and the majesty and the splendour of everything on earth and in the heavens above.

Let us exalt our FATHER.  Let us sing praises to HIM.  Let us rejoice that we are children of this awesome GOD.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU that YOU are everything in my world.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

My GOD is bigger than anything!

Make no mistake fellow children of our most awesome GOD, that our GOD is bigger than anything we can ever imagine.  HE is stronger than anything we can imagine.  HE is cleverer than anything we can ever imagine.

Let us today "right size" our wonderful FATHER in Heaven.  Let us call on HIS Name and let us fall down in awe and worship HIM.

With GOD on our side, there is NOTHING in the world that we cannot face.  There is nothing that we cannot do with GOD on our side.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, how wonderful that I can YOU this.  I know that with YOU on my side, I am in safe hands.  FATHER, I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ that YOU are my FATHER.  I thank YOU and I adore YOU and I worship YOU. Amen.

Let us work together for GOD!

Once we accept Jesus as our Lord and our Saviour, and when we draw close to GOD, GOD starts to use us for the good of all on earth.

We know this because all of a sudden the strangest set of "coincidences" start to take place.  On this perfect earth that GOD created, there are no "coincidences".  GOD is at work.

GOD will finish HIS perfect plan for this world, with or without us.  So let us today make sure that we get into the plan that GOD has for our lives.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU that YOU have a plan.  My plans always seem so futile and I know that YOUR plans are perfect.  So help me today to get into YOUR plan for my life.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.
