The LORD delights in us!

What a magnificent thought that the LORD, our GOD, delights in us.  HE crowns the humble with salvation.

Just meditate on this for a while and let it sink in.  The Psalms were written long before the birth of Jesus, and yet in this Psalm we are reading that GOD will crown the humble with salvation.

So  think on this.  GOD had HIS plan, even then for our salvation to release us from the debt of sin, which through our own endeavours, we can never repay.

Therefore we know that our FATHER in Heaven, loves us. No that HE clearly delights in each one of us, and that HE wants us to spend eternity with HIM.

I implore you that if you have never done so, please accept the enormous grace of GOD today.  Do not wait, for, if we have learned one thing, it is that we do not know what tomorrow will bring.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU that YOU delight in me enough to give me YOUR grace which I really do not deserve.  Tonight I accept YOUR grace and I confess with my mouth that Jesus is LORD.  I admit that I am a sinner and I believe that Jesus died for sins, that he conquered death and that He sits at YOUR right Hand.  FATHER, tonight I offer YOU my life.  Lead my path to YOU.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay truly GOD blessed today!

A women of noble Character!

Proverbs 31:10-31 King James Version (KJV)

10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
12 She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
13 She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
14 She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
15 She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
16 She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.
17 She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.
18 She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.
19 She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.
20 She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
21 She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.
22 She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.
23 Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.
24 She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.
25 Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.
31 Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

Tonight I celebrate the anniversary of the death of my Mom.  I would like to say to all believers that we should celebrate the death of our parents when we know that they truly knew GOD.  My Mom died reading her bible.  I know that she loved the LORD with all her soul, with all her strength and with all her mind.  This gives me such comfort.
Let us children of GOD ensure that all of our families know Jesus and that they have a living relationship with Him.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU that my Mom knew YOU on earth and that I know that she is in Heaven with YOU.  Tonight I celebrate the fact that I know YOU and I thank YOU for YOUR grace and for Jesus Christ my Lord and my Saviour.
I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Number our days!

The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the LORD.  Once we know our FATHER, and we know what HE has done, we begin to understand that our CREATOR FATHER is more powerful, more wonderful, more awesome than anything we can ever imagine.

The more we understand the nature of our FATHER, the more we fear HIM because we start to understand that we are really really small in relation to our FATHER.  Yet HE loves each one of us and HE wants a relationship with us.

Therefore in the Psalms we read that we should number our days.  What exactly does this mean?  It means that we need to value each and every day.  We need to work towards our salvation and this is done each and every day.  Never leave anything that pertains to our salvation over to tomorrow.  If we want to read the Bible, do it today.  If we want to pray to GOD do it now.  If we want to do good, do it now.  If we want to forgive do it now.  Do not leave anything to tomorrow.  We know not what tomorrow will bring.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER I want to thank YOU today for who I am.  I want to thank YOU for what I have.  FATHER strengthen me to do good today.  Forgive my sins as I forgive all those who sin against me.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  My Lord and my Redeemer.  Amen.

Stay truly GOD blessed today!

The Word of the LORD is alive!

Do not think that our FATHER in Heaven is not alive and active.  HE is more relevant in our modern day world than most people think.

Now as we are all in lockdown due to the COVID 19 virus we need to be listening for our FATHER speaking to each one us.  We need to know that GOD wants us in HIS plans.  HE is not interested in getting into our plans.  HIS plans are perfect and there is a place for each one of us.

So today, pick up a Bible and read the word of GOD.  You will be utterly amazed.  For GOD will speak to you through HIS word which is alive and active.  It penetrates our hearts and minds.  It pervades anything else.

Trust in GOD and lean not on your own understanding today and all will be much better.

Prayer:  HEAVENLY FATHER, today I thank YOU that I can rely on YOU to talk to me and to give me YOUR word, which I know is true.  Show me the plans YOU have for my life FATHER.  I pray that YOUR will and not mine be done on earth.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay wonderfully GOD blessed today!

Alive in Jesus!

And so when Jesus was nailed onto the cross, He took all our sins onto the cross with Him.  He who had no sin in Him, bore our sins onto the cross and He washed each and every one with His own blood.

Why did a righteous man such as Jesus, die for sinners such as us.  Because through our own endeavours we have absolutely no hope of ever getting to Heaven.  All good deeds and all good intentions and all good souls will not get us into Heaven.  The man made bridge of a cross gave us the grace of our FATHER in Heaven.

So once we accept that Jesus did this for us.  Once we accept that Jesus is the Son of GOD, once we accept that we are sinners and beg GOD to forgive us, we are made alive in Jesus.

We become co-heirs of the eternal life with our FATHER in Jesus.

Who does not want to accept this enormous gift of grace?  I certainly do.

Therefore, if you have not done so, today admit that we are sinners.  And on our own we can never get into Heaven.   Believe that Jesus is our Redeemer.  Confess with our mouths this to be the Truth and accept this Grace of GOD.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, tonight I admit that I am but a sinner.  I believe that Jesus conquered death and rose again to save me from my sins and so that I might have a life in Heaven with YOU when I die to this earth.  I confess that Jesus is my Redeemer.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay graciously GOD blessed today!

Do not fear! I am with you.

As we continue in lockdown now  with curfews imposed from 8 pm to 5 am in the morning. we need to know that our FATHER in Heaven neither slumbers nor sleeps.  GOD is with us through the day and through the night.  GOD will never leave us and HE will never forsake us.

So let us go to bed and thank GOD that HE is our FATHER.  Let us thank GOD that HE is watching over each one of us.  Let us thank GOD that we do not ever have to be afraid.  We have a promise from our FATHER in Heaven that HE will be with us come what may.

Tomorrow is Sunday, the day our LORD tells us to rest.  So let us do that and let us worship our FATHER together in spirit tomorrow.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that YOU are with me always.  FATHER tonight I thank YOU for the safety of YOUR loving arms and I ask that YOU guard my heart.  I love YOU FATHER.  In the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay truly GOD blessed today.

All things work together for good to those who love GOD!

Almost as soon as we accept Jesus as our Lord and our Saviour, and we are filled with the Holy Spirit, or baptized in the Holy Spirit, a truth comes upon us.

No longer do we want our will, but the will of our FATHER in Heaven.  We suddenly start to seek GOD in every aspect of our lives.  We pray to GOD before we eat.  We pray to GOD when we wake up and when we go to sleep.  All day we find ourselves saying "THY Will be done Heavenly FATHER, not mine".

Therefore we know that these words of Paul are true.  To all who called according to the purpose of GOD, all things will work together for the good.   This is the love of GOD manifest on earth.

So to all who are locked down, use this time to get really close to GOD.  Read HIS word often.  Meditate on HIS word day and night.  And know that we will come out of this together with our FATHER in Heaven and we will be better and stronger in our faith than ever before.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, THY will be done in my life.  I take Jesus as my Lord and my Saviour and I accept YOUR grace in the forgiveness of my sins.  I trust in YOU alone OH FATHER.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay truly GOD blessed today!

One Lord!

We need to know that there is only one way to get to GOD and that is through Jesus.  We have been given the Grace of GOD.

The Grace of GOD is given to each one who believes, through the blood of Jesus our Redeemer.  When we accept the fact that there is only one faith - the faith in Jesus as our Redeemer, one Lord - Jesus and one baptism - baptism by the Holy Spirit.   When we accept Jesus as our Saviour - we are then under the Grace of GOD.

Today, let us make it our purpose to sincerely believe that we have a Redeemer in Jesus Christ.  Let us know that He died to save us from our sins.  Let us accept the gift of eternal life through the enormous Grace of GOD.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I love YOU.  Today I know that I am saved through the blood of Jesus Christ, shed for my sins on the cross of Calvary.  I know that my Redeemer died on that cross.  I know that He rose from the dead on the third day in Human Form.  I know that He ascended in to Heaven and that He sits at YOUR right Hand and that He will judge me.  For this grace, FATHER, I thank YOU.  Forgive my sins as I forgive all those who sin against me.  This I pray in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay truly GOD blessed today!

Forgiveness of sin!

Under the old law of Moses, we would have needed to sacrifice a living animal, preferably a lamb, free of blemish to atone for our sins.  I personally would have needed a lamb most every day.

However, the lamb, Jesus, without sin, was sacrificed on a cross to pay for our sins.  So when we accept Jesus as our Redeemer, and when we repent of our sins, our sins are removed from us and are no longer counted to us.

Therefore, as children of the living GOD and knowing Jesus is our Lord and our Saviour, we need to repent each and every time we sin.  Sometimes we sin knowingly.  But sometimes we sin by not doing the things which we can do.  That it is why it is important to pray each and every day for the forgiveness of our sins.

Not only that, we need to forgive those who sin against us.  This should also be done each and every day and indeed, each time we feel wronged.  We immediately should pray for GOD to forgive that person or those persons.

Now during lockdown it is easy to feel wronged.  But let us never forget that we are sinners too.  So let us actively pray all day to our FATHER in Heaven and ask HIM to forgive us and then let us tell our FATHER that we forgive those who sin against us.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU that I live under YOUR immense grace.  Please forgive my sins as I forgive all those who sin against me.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay gratefully GOD blessed today!

Love GOD with all your might!

When Jesus was asked what the greatest commandment is, He answered, "love the Lord your GOD with all your heart, your soul, and with all your mind."

Most people when asked, will answer that the greatest commandment is to your love your neighbour as yourself.  This is not true.

GOD is love.  GOD created us in love.  GOD loved us before we were born.  GOD will love us forever.  Only we reject GOD, GOD never rejects any one of us.

We are given a free will and with that we can choose to believe in Jesus and we can accept Jesus as our Lord and our Saviour.  We can accept the grace of GOD or we can reject it.

Sin separates us from the love of GOD.  So we need to practise loving GOD all the time.  We need to include GOD in every aspect of our lives.  We need to thank GOD all the time for everything.  For our food, for our family, for our homes, for the love that we have and for the love that we get from GOD.

Let us make it a habit.  GOD first and GOD  last.  Say a prayer when we wake up and when we go to sleep.  Say a prayer during the day.  Even if it is only a few words.  Let us approach GOD with an attitude of gratitude.

Prayer:  Heavenly Loving FATHER, today I thank YOU for what I am.  I thank YOU for what I have.  I thank YOU for YOUR love and YOUR grace.  I thank YOU for forgiving my sins.  I love YOU FATHER.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  My Lord and my Saviour.  Amen.

Stay graciously GOD blessed today!

Jesus - Our Redeemer!

To redeem something means gain or regain possession of something in exchange for payment.

Just so, GOD sent HIS Son Jesus to this earth to "redeem" us from our sinful nature.  Jesus had to go onto the cross completely sinless, but He needed to take our sins with Him.  On that cross, with His Blood, He paid for our sins so that we can have, in exchange, life after our death with GOD.

Our sins are paid for in full.  We have nothing more to pay.  However, we need to believe that Jesus is our Redeemer. We need to believe that Jesus is the Son of GOD.  We need to believe that Jesus died on the cross, was buried and rose from the dead.  We need to believe that Jesus ascended into Heaven and that He sits at the right hand of GOD and that the only way to GOD is through Jesus.

Then we need to ask GOD to forgive our sins.  This is done as soon as we acknowledge all of the above and believe it in our hearts.  We need to confess with our mouths, believe in our hearts and commit to asking GOD to forgive us.  Then we are no longer slaves to sin.  We are free and we can share in the inheritance of Jesus.

But we cannot go on sinning.  Of course, we are human and we sin.  But we should not willingly go on sinning.  We need to change our hearts and be born again into a life of walking with our Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I believe that Jesus is my Lord and my Saviour.  Forgive my sins as I forgive those who sin against me.  I ask this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay graciously GOD blessed today!

No longer slaves to sin!

When we accept Jesus as our Lord and our Saviour, we are then under the Grace of GOD.  In other words, upon our acceptance and belief that Jesus is our Redeemer, we are set free from sin.

However, this does not mean that we should continue to sin.  The wages of sin are death.  We are all tempted, but as "reborn" Christians, (People born into the Spirit of Jesus), we need to know that we cannot continue to sin and expect to stay under the protection of Jesus.

Sin separates us from our FATHER in Heaven.  Therefore the Holy Spirit convicts us when we sin and we know that we have sinned.  And we should immediately repent of this.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, show me today where I have sinned and convict me of my sins.  Forgive my sins FATHER as I forgive all those who sin against me.  I ask this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay Graciously GOD blessed today!

Jesus is coming back!

Our FATHER in Heaven sent HIS only Son to live on earth, to die completely sinless on a cross, taking all our sins onto that cross.  But then our Saviour, Jesus Christ, conquered death and rose on the third day, as was stated in Old Testament in Isaiah.

Our Redeemer has only an empty tomb.  He has no grave, no filled tomb, no memorial where he was buried.  Because you cannot bury a live human being.  And Christ conquered death and rose so that we might also conquer death and have eternal life.

What do we need to do to accept this eternal life, we need to accept the Grace of GOD.  We need to believe in Jesus as our Saviour.  We need to believe that he died and rose from the dead.  We need to beg GOD to forgive our sins.

But finally, dearest fellow children of GOD, we know that our Redeemer is coming back.  How do we know this?  Well read the above verse.  As Jesus ascended into Heaven, so He is coming back to fetch those on earth who have died and those who are alive.

And this is known as the Rapture.  And this can happen at any time.  So we need to be prepared to go with Jesus.  Let us not waste a moment.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, today I accept Jesus as my Lord and my Saviour.  FATHER forgive my sins as I forgive all those who sin against me.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay readily GOD blessed today!

GOD is greater than us.... by a HUGE amount!

We are all in lockdown.  And it is not a great feeling that on the Holiest of days, Easter, the celebration of the death of our Saviour, Jesus Christ, and the greatest thing, ever, the resurrection, we have to celebrate this alone.  Stuck inside and without our loved ones.  So it is easy to become bitter and vengeful and want to lay the blame on someone for this.

However, upon reflection, let us look up at our ENORMOUS GRACIOUS FATHER in Heaven and let us consider HIS word.  In the Bible, the message is very loud and it is extremely clear.  GOD will show HIS wrath against unrighteous people, who through their unrighteousness, suppress the truth.

So let us consider COVID 19.  Who do we believe is to blame and how exactly do we feel towards them.  Let us meditate on this and then let us give it over to GOD.  GOD knows exactly who has caused this suffering.  GOD knows the truth, because GOD is the Truth.

Therefore, let us leave our thoughts in the care of our FATHER in Heaven, who loves us and who sees our suffering.  GOD knows exactly what is happening to each one of us during this time.  Rather let us use our time to think about HIM instead of dwelling on what is happening to us.

And, know this, our FATHER will display HIS wrath on all those who are responsible for this.  So we no longer need to be slaves to worry about our situation.  GOD has control and HE knows exactly what HE will do.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, you know the suffering that each one of us has to endure during this time.  Please free us from worry and set us on a course to discover YOUR word during this time.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay peacefully GOD blessed today!

The last supper!

Jesus is the bread of life.  He is the Lamb of GOD.  We need to go back to the Old Testament and read about newborn lambs, lambs without blemish that were sacrificed to atone for the sins of the people. And then there was the "scapegoat".  A goat on whom all sins were of the people were cast and this goat was sent out into the desert to roam about carrying the sins away.

So let us equate all of this to Jesus.  Firstly, our Saviour is our shepherd.  The GOOD shepherd.  The Shepherd who will go out all night searching for a lost sheep.

Tonight we may celebrate  the last supper.  This is where Jesus washed the feet of His disciples.  Jesus took bread and broke it and said "This is my body" and Jesus took wine and said "This is my blood".  And Jesus asked His disciples to "Do this in remembrance of me".

As we go deeper into tonight, we need to think about Jesus and the huge sacrifice that GOD made in sending Him to die for us so that we might have eternal life.  Let us contemplate what Jesus was going through as he reclined at the table with His disciples.  He knew everything that was going to happen to Him.

He knew that He was going to suffer terribly.  He knew that He would end up on the cross and He knew that would die on that cross.  But He also knew that He could conquer death.

So Jesus was willing, as a blameless man (the lamb without blemish), he was going to go onto a cross bearing all of our sins.  He was going to rise up from death and He was going to ascend back into Heaven.  All of this was soley for us to be able to have an eternity with our FATHER in Heaven.

Let us assume an attitude of gratitude tonight.  Let us go down onto our knees and beg GOD to forgive our sins.  Let us forgive all those who have sinned against us. And let us take Jesus as our Lord and our Saviour.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, thank YOU thank YOU thank YOU.  YOU are so gracious.  FATHER forgive me for I have sinned.  I forgive all those who have sinned against me.  I take Jesus as my Lord and my Saviour.  Jesus is my Redeemer.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay truly GOD blessed today!

GOD is my only fortress!

We are into the second half of lockdown in South Africa.  And perhaps we will see the end of lockdown on the 16th April, and perhaps not.  Who knows?

I will tell you who knows everything.  GOD our FATHER in Heaven.  HE knows exactly what we are experiencing and for GOD there is no time.  So GOD knows the outcome of all of this already.  And the only one to trust in this whole scenario is our FATHER in Heaven.

So as we approach Easter and as the chosen people of Israel celebrate the Passover tonight, let us think on our FATHER and eternal life with HIM.  Let us take the time tonight and in the coming days to contemplate the life and death and resurrection of Jesus Christ our Lord and our Saviour.

Let us dwell on the word of GOD and think about the plan that GOD has for us all to be able to share, not only the passover, Easter and times such as these, but eternity with our FATHER in Heaven.

Jesus has gone ahead of us to prepare a place for each one of us in Heaven.  And the only thing we need to do to accept this is to accept Jesus as our Lord and our Saviour.  Do not leave this choice.  Make it today!

Prayer:  Awesome FATHER, I thank YOU for YOUR gift of grace and I accept it.  I love YOU FATHER, and Jesus is my Lord and my Saviour.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay graciously GOD blessed today!

The mercy of GOD is everlasting!

Our gracious FATHER in Heaven is indeed merciful.  Out of the clasps of death, HE gives us a chance to have eternal life with HIM.  And we have to do absolutely nothing to get this grace.  It is freely given to each one of us, if we will just accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and our Saviour.  That is the only way to accept this enormous gift of grace.

So let us not waste a single moment.  Let us take Jesus' hand and say to GOD our FATHER:

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, tonight I accept Jesus Christ as my Redeemer.  I know that He came to earth, lived on earth, died on the cross.  I know that He died for me and took all my sins and washed them white with the red of His own blood.  I know that He conquered death and rose from death in Human form on the third day.  I know that He ascended into Heaven and that He sits at YOUR right hand.  I know that Jesus will judge both the quick and the dead.  FATHER tonight I accept YOUR grace and I ask that YOU forgive my sins as I forgive all those who sin against me.

I pray this all in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ, My Redeemer.  Amen.

Stay truly graciously GOD blessed today!

Lord thank YOU!

As long as we trust in GOD, we can have faith that GOD is with us.  We need to trust GOD implicitly that HE knows the best plan and the best path for our lives.

So today let us read GOD's word.  Let us pray persistently about everything.  But most of all let us know that our FATHER is so gracious that HE sent Jesus to live on earth, to die on a cross with all our sins on Him.  He rose from the dead to overcome our sin.  He ascended into Heaven and He sits at the right hand of GOD our FATHER.  HE will judge both the quick and the dead.

This is goes hand in hand with the greatest Commandment.  Let us love the Lord our GOD with all our hearts and with all our souls and with all our minds.  Let us put our trust in GOD and this way whatever we do we can be certain that GOD is watching over us.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, what a privilege to know YOU and to love YOU.  Thank YOU FATHER for saving me from my enemies.  Thank YOU FATHER for showing me YOUR plan which is so much better than mine.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay faithfully GOD blessed today!

The Lord bless you!

Tonight as we enter into the 6th night of lockdown in South Africa, I pray that each person reading this blog may know the peace of GOD which transcends all understanding.  I pray that LORD will bless you and your families.  I pray that GOD will make HIS face to shine upon each one of you.  I pray that our FATHER will be gracious unto you.  I pray that our FATHER will lift up HIS countenance upon you and give you HIS peace.

Prayer:  FATHER, you know our hearts and our minds.  Tonight we take YOUR peace and we take Jesus into our hearts and we ask that YOU bless us.

We pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay graciously GOD blessed today!

GOD will never leave you nor forsake you!

Praying ABBA FATHER I thank YOU that YOU are with me always. I humbly thank YOU that YOU never leave me nor forsake me. I humbly thank YOU ...
