GOD will provide!

 It is quite amazing that when we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and our Saviour, the things of this world grow strangely dim.  And a lot of worrying that we did before stops.

That is because when we see the world in the light of the fact that GOD created it all and HE created us, we have nothing to worry about.

GOD provided for you and I richly on the earth.  We have food to eat, water to drink and we have GOD with us.  

And as Jesus said,  "Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? 10Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?" (Luke 11).

And that is so true.  And our FATHER in heaven will provide for our needs if we have faith and trust in HIM alone.

So today, let us put all our hope, our faith, our trust in our FATHER in Heaven, knowing that HE provides for us.

Prayer: ABBA FATHER, today I thank YOU and I put all my hope, all my faith and all my trust in YOU to provide me with what I need.  I do this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Our FATHER is so much more than we can ever imagine.  Just reading this verse reminds me of the greatness of our FATHER.

Tonight, whatever troubles we have, let us take before HIS mighty throne.  Let us lay them down before HIM and ask HIM to intervene in any situation on our behalf.

Our FATHER is great and omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent.  HE created everything that we can see and everything that we cannot see.

Our FATHER can solve any problem that we have if it is HIS will.  All that we have to do is to take it to HIM in prayer. 

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that I can turn to YOU today.  FATHER, if this be YOUR will for me,  help me to overcome the problems of this earth tonight.  Help me to find solutions to my problems and to see YOUR mighty Hand in all that I do.  I pray this in Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  My Lord and my Redeemer.  Amen.

Be Still!

 Sometimes we just need to be still.  When we are still, gradually the noises become dimmer and we can get closer to our FATHER in Heaven.  If we are still enough, perhaps we can hear our FATHER talking to us.

No I am not imagining this.  This is reality.  GOD loves you and GOD loves me and HE wants us to be in a loving trusting relationship with HIM.

When we give our hearts to our FATHER, the Holy Spirit comes to live in us. The Holy Spirit guides us and encourages us to know our FATHER better.  The Holy Spirit is powerful and strong and is an integral part of our Triune GOD.

So when we grow really really still, we can hear GOD talking to us through the Holy Spirit.

And we can pray like this, in stillness.

Jesus said that when we pray we should go into a room by ourselves and talk to our FATHER.  And sometimes, we should not talk, just listen.  Try it. 

Start with reading a Bible verse.  Then a prayer.  Then just silence.  And listening for our MASTER's voice.  

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that I can be still.  I thank YOU that YOU know me.  I thank YOU that I can YOUR Holy Spirit living in me.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

 GOD comforts us in all our troubles if we but take our trouble to HIM.  It is quite amazing to me how writing this devotional gives me a sense of peace each and every day.

As I write I hear GOD in my head talking to me.  I truly hope that anyone reading this finds the comfort from our LORD that I get when I write.

For, as this Paul says, we share abundantly in Christ;s sufferings so that through Christ, we can share abundantly in our comfort too.

Today has been a particularly trying day.  Each and every thing that I have been busy with has been an uphill struggle.  Nothing has gone easily.  Although I got up and was raring to go and I had tons of things to do. each and every task became a struggle. 

But I was not alone.  Every one I am busy with today has been struggling in the same manner.  However, I feel blessed because I know that Jesus has been with me every step of the way.  And we, as children of GOD, must know and realize that on this earth we will have trials and tribulations.

Our comfort is knowing that through it all, we need to keep our eyes upon the Light of the world  The truth of the world Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, tonight I thank YOU that I can keep my eyes on YOU.  I know that YOU are trustworthy and gracious.  I thank YOU for this in the Holy name of Jesus Christ.  My Lord and my Redeemer.  Amen.

Enter HIS gates with praise!

 Our FATHER in Heaven is gracious.  HE is loving and giving.  And for that HE deserves the very best praise from us. 

How blessed are we that GOD so loves us that HE sent HIS son to die for you and for me.  How much more could anyone love us.

So our FATHER deserves all the praise, all the honour and all the glory.  For we are so special to our FATHER that HE numbers the very hairs on our heads.  HE knows each one of us by name.  HE knows our going out and our coming in.  HE knows the date we are born and the day we will pass away from this earth.

And most of all, GOD wants us to know HIM.  And for that we need to praise HIS Holy Name.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER I thank YOU tonight and I praise YOU FATHER.  I worship YOU FATHER.  I thank for YOU for YOUR grace and YOUR favour.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and my Redeemer.  Amen.

Bless the LORD!

Let us bless the LORD.  Let us give thanks with all that we have and all that we are.  Bless HIS Holy Name.

GOD heals us from our sins.  GOD rescues us from evil.  GOD crowns us with HIS lovingkindness.  And most of all GOD grants us our tender mercies.

So today, let us give our FATHER in Heaven all the Glory, all the praise and let us worship HIS Holy Name.

Prayer: ABBA FATHER, today I give thanks for YOUR grace and favour.   I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Are you feeling let down?

 Are you feeling let down? Are you feeling that people are not trustworthy? Are you having doubts about your purpose in life?

Then know this.  The Spirit of the LORD GOD is upon each one of us.  And all we have to do is to reach out to our FATHER.

Our FATHER has given you and I the freewill to choose to have a relationship with you and with me.  That is a fact.  GOD wants to know you and HE wants to be a significant part of our lives.  We shut HIM out.  GOD never shuts us out.  

So how do we get to know GOD  Well if you know nothing about GOD then ask yourself.  Could the earth, the universe, the trees, the seas, the heavens be made out of nothing.? If your answer is no.  Then who created it?  And if your answer is that this all evolved.  Then again  - from what?  And please do not answer the big bang.  Because that would have been cataclysmically chaotic.  And I do not know about you, but I can be chaotic.  But I was not made in a chaotic fashion.

My feet are where they are supposed to be.  So are my eyes, so is my nose etc.  And when I watch the sun rise or set, I see it is perfectly timed with my body clock so that I can get some sleep when I need it. And I can work when I need to.,

There is nothing chaotic or rambling about our DNA.  There is nothing chaotic or random about planting a tree and watching it grow. 

So if we are in agreement that there was a Creator, then I am here to tell you that this is GOD.  And GOD loves you and HE loves me.  HE loves us so much that HE sent HIS only Son Jesus Christ to this earth to die on a cross so that we could spend eternity with our FATHER in Heaven.

Get to know GOD.  Read HIS word.. Pray to HIM.  And accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour..  Admit that you are a sinner. Be saved.  Be filled with the Holy Spirit who will convict you to know GOD more and more. And then you too, will know that GOD is truly dependable.  GOD's word is inerrant and infallible.  GOD loves you and GOD loves me! 

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that I can totally depend on YOU alone.  YOU are my rock and my salvation.  An ever present help in times of trouble.  I love YOU FATHER.  I thank YOU for YOUR grace and favour.  I pray all of this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The Truth!

 Jesus is the Truth.  Jesus is the Word.  Jesus is the Life.  Jesus is the Light.  Jesus is the Way.

And we can only truly be co heirs of Jesus Christ, through the Grace of GOD.  Because we can never ever be blameless like Jesus.  Sinning is in our natures.  We are born into sin.  And the only thing that can save us is Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ added Humanity to His Deity.  He came to earth as a baby born of a Virgin Mother.  So that no sin could be added by an earthly father.  His FATHER is GOD.  GOD is the Grace giver.  GOD gave us HIS Son, blameless and sinless so that all our sins could be put on the cross. 

It was not nails that kept Jesus on the cross to die.  It was our sins.  

And we should know that if we call ourselves children of GOD, we are not to continue in our sinful ways.  We simply cannot go on sinning.  For each time we sin, we nail Jesus to that cross again.

So today, if you know that you continuing your life in a sinful way.  Stop! Consider our Lord and our Saviour dying on that cross for you and I.  Consider that every single sin constitutes another blow to our Lord and Saviour.  And not forgiving those who sin against you, is also a sin!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU for YOUR grace and favour.  I know that I am a sinner.  FATHER forgive me as I forgive all hose who sin against me.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay forgivingly GOD blessed today!

 We need to always test what GOD's will is versus what we want.  So the best way to do this is to ask GOD for HIM to reveal what HE would like us to do through prayer.

And through the reading of HIS word.  And time.  GOD does not give us instant answers as much as we would like that in this world of instant gratification.

Time spent with GOD is the way to find answers.  And GOD will give us the answers we seek if we seek them diligently through HIM.

But this verse starts off with an admonition.  Do not conform to the patterns of this world.  But b transformed through the renewing of our mind.  So how do we renew our minds?  Through the admission of our shortcomings and our sins.

Please do not think we do not sin daily and we are forgiven once and for all.  This is simply not the case.  We have inherited sinful natures.  We covert.  We lie.  We do not do to our neighbours as we would have them do unto us.  We set double standards for others.  Whilst we tolerate our own bad behaviour.  

So through the act of daily reflection, we can look at ourselves through the eyes of GOD and see our daily shortcomings and then, convicted by and through the Holy Spirit living in us, we need to ask GOD to forgive us.

The act of repentance is a renewing of our minds.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I am so grateful to YOU that I can test YOUR will for my life through my admission of my sinful nature.  I humbly ask that YOU forgive my sins today.  FATHER show me YOUR will for my day today and for my life.  I humbly pray this in the HOLY name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

A new creation in Christ!

 Once we accept Jesus as our Lord and our Saviour, we are filled with the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit "convicts us".  And this causes us to know where we have sinned.  The Holy Spirit guides us to repentance.  And repentance leads to us becoming very different people to the ones we were.  We are no longer burdened by feelings of guilt about our past and the sins we have committed when we have asked GOD to forgive us because we know that we are forgiven.  We become people who now want to please GOD.

And the true mark of a person who has taken Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour is notable changes.

Repentance makes us shine with the Light of Christ.  We are now better people.  People who want a living relationship with GOD.  Repentance means a change of heart or attitude.

And if you confess to be a Christian who has accepted Christ and you are not changing, you need to go back to basics and do the ABC of being a Christian.

You need to admit that you are a sinner.  You need to believe in Jesus as Lord and Redeemer, and the only way to GOD.  You need to confess this with your mouth.  And you will be filled with Holy Spirit.

Today take a long look and see if your are growing in Christ or stagnating.  Ask friends and relatives if they see a change of heart in you.  Because being a Christian you should shine a light in the darkness!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, help me to grow in Jesus. Help me to be a shining light on earth.  Help me to spread the good news of Jesus Christ.   I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and my Redeemer.  Amen.

GOD's grace is sufficient!

 We are so weak if we compare ourselves and what we can do next to what our FATHER in Heaven can do!  We cannot produce a planet.  We cannot make human beings from nothing.  We cannot make flowers from nothing.  We cannot make anything from nothing..

And yet our FATHER in Heaven did exactly that.  HE created everything in our universe from nothing. And what is more, HE created our universe.

So when we feel weak and inadequate we are.  And that is why we need GOD.  Because in GOD we can do anything.  

What do i mean by that? Do I mean that we can create universes?  Absolutely not.  But what I mean is that we get our strength to carry on from our FATHER in Heaven.

We draw on HIS might and HIS strength to overcome our weaknesses.  

That is what this verse is talking about.  The grace of GOD.  GOD's power is made perfect in our weakness.

All we have to do is to call on the name of Jesus.  Our LORD and our Saviour.  We need to admit that we are weak sinners.  We need to ask GOD to forgive us for our sins.  We need to believe that Jesus is our Redeemer.  Jesus is the Way the Truth and the Life.   Without Jesus we cannot get to GOD.

And we need to confess this to our FATHER.  

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER tonight I confess that I am a sinner.  I am weak but YOU are strong.  My weakness is made perfect by YOUR grace and YOUR power only.  FATHER for YOU alone are HOLY and PURE.  I thank YOU for my Redeemer, Jesus Christ.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The Word of GOD is alive and active!

 Dearest co heirs with me in Jesus Christ.  I would encourage you all to spend time in the Word.  Make reading your Bibles a daily habit.  The word of GOD is alive and active.  It is more relevant today than it has ever been.

We are living in dangerous times.  We have COVID to contend with.  We have wokeness and double standards.  Our politicians are full of excuses.  People are so busy with their own lives and their own problems it is hard to find compassion and most of all hard to find sincerity. 

But the one thing that we truly can depend on in these times is Jesus Christ.  And our FATHER in Heaven and the Holy Spirit living in us. OUR TRIUNE FATHER is sincere and steadfast and HE is faithful. 

GOD's word is worth reading.  It is worth memorising and it is worth dwelling on.

And when we read the word, GOD talks to us through HIS word.  HE gives us messages and shows us HIS way and HIS will.  

At the close of a daily reading, go into an attitude of prayer.  Give thanks to our FATHER and ask HIM to show you HIS will.  You may be amazed!

For myself, I love my daily Bible reading.  I love doing this blog and spending time choosing a topic to talk to you all about and spreading the Gospel.  All of this is solely to the Glory of our FATHER in Heaven. 

So please, if you do not do so, make a daily habit of spending time in the Word and spending time in prayer.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that I can read my Bible daily and hear YOUR word through these pages.  I thank YOU that YOUR word is sharper than any double edged sword and that  FATHER, YOU can read my heart and YOU know my thoughts.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of  Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Our help comes from the LORD!

 We are often so busy looking for answers to our problems that we fail to take them to GOD.  Our FATHER in Heaven knows us. HE numbers the hairs of our heads.  HE numbers our days.  HE alone gives us life.

So why, in times of trouble do we run to other solutions when our FATHER knows exactly what is needed, when and how. 

Today, if you are experiencing any problems I would urge you to go down on your knees and petition our FATHER in Heaven.  Ask GOD to help you with whatever it is that you need.  And then wait on the LORD.

HE will never let you down and HE will never fail you and most of all, HE knows you the best of all.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, today I lift up my problems to YOU.  FATHER YOU know my needs.  Help me today.  This I pray in the Holy name of Jesus Christ.  My Lord and my Saviour.  Amen.

Let GOD lead us!

 What a mess the world is in.  And yet if we have read our Bibles and listened to what GOD is saying, this must all come to pass.

There will be wars and rumours of wars.  The earth will shake and there will be volcanoes, tornadoes, earthquakes.  There will be disputes, brother will turn on brother.  And this must come to pass.  

And then Jesus will come in the clouds to take us to be with Him.

Our GOD keeps HIS promises and therefore I am convinced that nothing can separate us from the love of our FATHER in Heaven, if we will but believe in Jesus.

Let us today, if we have never done so, admit that we are sinners.  Tell our FATHER in Heaven that we know that we have fallen short of HIS glory.  For none are righteous before HIM.  All have fallen short of HIS glory.  Because our FATHER is HOLY and PURE and RIGHTEOUS..

Let us take Jesus as our Lord and our Saviour.  And let us confess this truth with our mouths to our FATHER in Heaven. Then tonight if Jesus comes in the clouds, we will go with HIM!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER I thank YOU that I can have YOUR grace.  Forgive me FATHER for I am a sinner.  I believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour.  I confess this to YOU tonight.  I pray all of this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

We were bought with the blood of Christ!

 We are not merely Christians or children of GOD.  We were bought and paid for with the blood Jesus shed on the cross for each one of us.  Whether we accept this truth or not. Every single person on earth was bought and paid for.

And all we have to do to accept this is to admit that we are sinners.  We cannot work our way in Heaven.  No amount of good works will grant us salvation.

Then we have to believe that Jesus did indeed, buy our salvation by coming to this earth. Living a sinless life.  Dying on a cross after having been cruelly humiliated and tortured.  Then He rose from the dead, conquering death for once and for all for all who believe in Him.

Lastly we have to confess this truth with our mouths.  And in so doing, we are saved by the blood of Jesus, through the grace of GOD in sending HIS only Son to die for all of us.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER today, I thank YOU for YOUR enormous grace.  I humbly accept my redemption through Jesus Christ.  My Lord and my Redeemer.  I pray all of this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

 Let us tonight come before our LORD singing HIS praises.  Let us never be anxious about anything.  But in every situation, by prayer and petition, let us present our requests to our FATHER in Heaven.

And then once we have thanked GOD and sung HIS praises, let us cease to worry and give our requests over to GOD.

Now this is not a guarantee that what we have asked for will be given.  What it is a guarantee of is that if we have thanked our FATHER for our blessings, we have started to count our blessings.  This makes us aware of how blessed we actually are.  And then when we give our requests over to GOD, we have eased the burden on ourselves and we automatically feel far more at peace.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER tonight I come before YOUR throne with an attitude of gratitude.  I thank YOU for all my blessings.  FATHER I am thankful for who I am, my family and my friends.  I thank YOU for all that I have been given.  I thank YOU for the talents you have given me.  FATHER tonight I hand all my problems to YOU and I know and trust that YOU have a better plan for me.  I pray this in the Holy name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD's eyes are on us!

 Our FATHER in Heaven is omniscient.  HE is omnipotent.  HE is omnipresent..  And that is because we do not understand that GOD is OVER ALL.

GOD lives in many more dimensions than we can know or even comprehend.  GOD sees all that we do.  GOD sees all that we are.

But most importantly, GOD is able to read our hearts.  So while we may say one thing and mean another to a fellow human being, GOD sees our intentions.  GOD knows our plans and our schemes.

And that is why often when things do not go our way, we rail against GOD.  But GOD is teaching us and refining us. GOD is wanting to make us into the best people that we can be.

So let us pray to GOD every day to make our hearts pure.  To make our thoughts pure. To be better people than we are.  And let us ask GOD to teach us HIS ways.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, teach me YOUR ways which are so much better than my ways.  Teach me to be better person.  Teach me to be kinder and more loving.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Love!

 We need to know that we need love in times like these.  With our world seemingly turning upside down at the moment, let us stop and think about how we feel.  

Are we hurt and angry?  Are we fearful? Are we feeling helpless?

In these thoughts, let us turn our hearts to love.  And let us love one another as GOD and Jesus loves us.  For this is the greatest commandment..  Love the LORD YOUR GOD with all you heart, with all your soul with all your strength and with all your mind. And love one another as GOD loves us.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER help me to love my neighbour as myself.  Help me to love with all my heart, LORD.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Trusting GOD!

 When we read our Bibles, we must get away from our own ideas and our own interpretations.  The Bible is not open to interpretation in my humble opinion.  The Bible is the inerrant word of GOD and is true in every single aspect.  And the more we know about the Bible, the more we read the Bible, the more we discover that nothing in the Bible is there by accident or by the will of man.

This is the same with the earth, the heavens and everything in between.  We are created by a MASTER CREATOR.  This same MASTER CREATOR is GOD who put the words of the Bible into the hearts of those who wrote it.

And the Bible tells us over and over to trust in GOD.  So let us not put our trust in man on earth.  Let us not put our trust in ourselves or own abilities.  Let us put our trust in GOD alone.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, today I humbly pray that I only ever put my trust and my hope in YOU.  I pray this in the Holy name of Jesus Christ.  My Lord and Saviour, my Redeemer. Amen.

Trust in GOD only!

The more that we live on this earth and the more uncertain times we face, the more we need to know that our help comes from GOD alone.

We simply cannot rely on anyone or anything on this earth to be our shield.  People are fickle and they have their own agendas.  Often we are not privy to their thoughts or their deeds.  But our Lord is faithful.  HIS promises are kept to the very last.

And GOD promises us trouble on earth, and we have it.  But, there is a very certain future for all who believe in Jesus.  And that is that if we admit we are sinners, if we believe in Jesus as our Lord and our Saviour, and if we confess this with our mouths, we will be saved.

And that means that when we shuffle off this mortal earth, we know exactly where we are going.  And that is GOD's faithful promise to us.  We will have a life in Heaven with HIM.

Today,, leave uncertainty and accept the faithful promise our FATHER in Heaven!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, thank YOU that I can have YOUR grace.  I accept YOUR grace and favour with humble gratitude.  I know that I am safe in YOUR love and faithfulness.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

We do good works because we are saved!

 We are saved by the Grace of GOD and because we are saved, we have work to do.  We cannot get saved by doing good works!

As children of GOD, we are co heirs in our salvation with Jesus.  But there is no way to get to GOD except through the belief in Jesus.  And not only believing in Jesus, but believing that Jesus came to earth, born of a virgin mother.

Jesus performed many miracles during His life.  He was tempted by Satan and not once did He succumb to temptation.  Not once did He try to stop the trial, the torment, the anguish of Calvary.

Alone, mocked and beaten and tormented, He died on that Cross of Calvary.  And with HIm on the cross, nailed to the cross with Him were our sins.

After He was dead, He was buried.  And after three days, He rose from the dead, conquering death for us all.

And none of us, no not one has ever risen from the dead, except Jesus Christ.  And this is the belief that we must have to be saved.

We are sinners.  All of us have sinned, whether we want to admit it or not.  We are not "better" than anyone.  For the Bible is very clear "All have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of GOD".  So we have to admit that we are sinners.  And then we need to confess this whole Truth to GOD.

Do not tarry,  If you have not done this, do it now!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, thank YOU that YOU have given me YOUR grace through Jesus Christ- my Lord and my Saviour.   I am a sinner.  Forgive me FATHER, as I forgive those who sin against me.  I believe in Jesus Christ - my Saviour, my Redeemer, my Lord.  I confess this truth with my mouth.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

We will not fear!

 We are living in very troubled times.  We are in the midst of the first worldwide pandemic in over one hundred years.  The governments are trying desperately to contain the virus to no real avail.  There are conspiracy theories abounding about the vaccines, the doctors the governments and to top that all we, as children of GOD are having our freedom of religion seriously threatened.

But we are children of GOD.  We are under HIS mighty arms.  Nothing is to much for our FATHER in Heaven.  And I believe that HE is sending HIS Son soon to fetch us in the clouds to take us away from this whole messy world we are living.

The question is, are we ready?  To be ready we need to do the most simple thing.  Our ABC.

Admit we are sinners and ask GOD to forgive our sins as we forgive those who sin against us.

Believe in Jesus Christ, our Redeemer, our Saviour.  Our Lord the Son of GOD.

Confess this truth with our mouths.

And be ready and saved to meet Jesus in the clouds.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that I am a child of YOURS.  I thank YOU that YOU forgive my sins as I forgive those who sin against me.  I believe in Jesus as my Redeemer.  I confess this truth with my mouth.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Do good works with our Blessings!

 When GOD blesses us it is not because we deserve it or we have earned it.  It is merely by the grace of GOD and the goodness of GOD that we have been blessed.  And the blessings we are given should be given back to GOD by doing good work.

What exactly is it that I am trying to say!  Well, in  a nutshell, the prosperity gospel is a myth.  GOD blesses us to enable us to fulfil HIS perfect plan for our lives.  Not to go out and buy a new Ferrari.  Or a better house or to wear better clothes.

No we are blessed so that we can do the works of our FATHER in Heaven.

That is our purpose on earth.  Before we were born, GOD planned for us.  HE anticipated what we would look like, and even to whom we would be born.  We do not serve a random GOD.

Our DNA structure is not random. We are not evolved.  We are perfectly made.  And we are exactly as GOD wants us to be. 

So the next time we are blessed, let us drop to our knees and ask our FATHER in Heaven what HIS will is for the blessing we have received.  And let us be wise about what we do with what we have.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU for YOUR grace and favour and the many blessings that I have.  Show me how to use my blessings to serve YOU and do YOUR works here on earth.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Wait on the Lord!

 We need to learn to be patient and to wait for our FATHER in Heaven.  HIS timing is always perfect and HIS plan is so much better than ours.

Isaiah tells us that those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength and they shall mount up with wings like eagles.  They shall run and not grow weary and walk but not faint.

In this world of instant gratification, instant communication, instant everything, we have grown used to getting it all and getting it now.

This is not good for our personal growth.  This does not refine our character and it is not in line with what GOD wants for our lives.

GOD wants us to trust in HIM.  HE wants us to depend on HIM.  HE wants us to be grateful in attitude and grateful for what we have rather than desirous to have more.

Let us listen to our FATHER in Heaven and let us wait on HIM.

Prayer: ABBA FATHER , thank YOU that I have to wait on YOU.  Thank YOU for all that I am and all that I have.  I thank YOU for my family, my friends, my home, my work and than YOU for YOUR enormous grace.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

 Dearest co heirs of the Kingdom of our FATHER, we are all sinners.  Whether we think we are or not.

And the only way to get to our FATHER is by the washing clean of our sins through the blood that was shed by our Saviour, Jesus christ. But in order to partake in that washing of our sins, we need to admit to our FATHER that we know that we are sinners.

We need to ask our FATHER to forgive our sins.  We need to forgive the sins of those who have sinned against us.

We cannot simply say that we are not sinners.  This is to deny what Jesus went through for each one of us.

It is no good to say that we are good people  NO! we are not.  We are all sinners.  For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of GOD.

So today, let us confess to our FATHER in Heaven that we are sinners. Let us beg for the forgiveness that our FATHER gives us so graciously through HIS mercy.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER I am a sinner. I admit this and humbly ask that YOU forgive my sins as I forgive those who sin against me.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

 The Psalmist tells us to taste and see that the Lord is good.  And then goes on to tell us that blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord.

If you watch a little child, they put everything into their mouths.to see what it is.  They are enormously trusting. 

So what GOD is telling us is that we should be as little children.

Trusting enough to taste and see that the Lord is good!

And if we are that trusting, then we are blessed.  

Be blessed today.  Trust in our FATHER in Heaven.  HE has an awesome plan for all of us. All we have to do is to taste and to trust!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I have tasted and found YOU to be good and I trust YOU implicitly with my life.  Use my life to do YOUR will on earth.  I humbly pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Jesus is GOD!

 Jesus is GOD.  And GOD is Jesus.  When Jesus came to earth He gave up His deity to take on the form of humanity.

Our GOD in Heaven is a Triune GOD.  And as we only have four dimensions that we fully comprehend and understand, it is beyond our understanding to fully grasp that GOD can be in three persons. 

But He is.  And in so doing, GOD came to earth and died on a cross for us.  To rescue us from an eternity spent in Hell. 

This is the love that Jesus and GOD and the Holy Spirit have for you and for me.

Accept the love of GOD today and repent.  Believe that  Jesus is our Redeemer, and confess this with your mouth.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I love YOU and I am so thankful that YOU came to earth in a human form to save me from my sins.  Tonight FATHER I confess that I am a sinner.  And I believe that Jesus is my Redeemer.  I pray all of this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The word is a lamp for my feet!

 Jesus is the word.  HE spoke the universe into existence.  And Jesus is the light of the world.  Because He came to bring the light into the world.

And the word, the Bible, is a lamp for our feet.  Because the word of GOD is in the Bible.  And Jesus and GOD and the Holy Spirit speak to us through the Bible.  Therefore we need to read the word of GOD.  Not just now and then, but every single day.  Our bible readings illuminate the path of our feet.

Prayer is also a light giving source.  When we pray to GOD we light up our lives because the Holy Spirit within us resonates with us when we pray.

Prayer and daily bible reading are the two tools we can use to light up our day.  And the third thing is to spread the gospel  

When we spread the gospel, we take the light to someone else.  This is one of the things that we are called to do.  Spread the good news - the light.  And the light of the world is coming back soon to fetch His bride, the Church.

So please pray and read your bible and spread the word.  Help the light to spread and be ready to receive the Light of the World.  HE is coming shortly!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER help me today to spread the light of world.  Help me to be ready so that when the LIGHT of this world comes back to fetch us, I will be ready.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Wait on the LORD!

 We should wait on the LORD.  All too often we rush into things and then when things fall apart we cry out to our FATHER in Heaven.

But if we pray earnestly to GOD and ask HIM to guide us in our paths, we need to wait on HIM to answer us.

A friend of mine told me the following story.  He put together a really large transaction and it would have meant a great deal to him financially.  He is a strong believer in GOD and he prayed and prayed about this deal.  Anyway, cut a long story short, the deal was stolen away from him at the eleventh hour.  He was devastated.

A few months later the country was locked down completely and suddenly he knew why he did not get the deal.  His deal was in the wine industry and he would have put up very large guarantees and he would have lost everything had the deal gone through.  No way he could have carried the guarantees through the lockdown.

So this illustrates my point.  When we are busy with anything, pray to our FATHER in Heaven and then wait.  The LORD's plan for our lives is always perfect.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that YOUR plans are so much better than my ideas.  FATHER I commit my plans and ideas into YOUR safe Hands.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD gave up HIS Son for us!

 We are well beloved of our FATHER.  We are co-heirs with Jesus Christ.  We are indwelled by the Holy Spirit.

GOD is with us.  GOD is in us and GOD is for us!

Today let us bow down to our Gracious FATHER in Heaven.  Let us adore HIM.  Let us praise and worship HIM.  Let us sing to HIM.  Let us pray to HIM.  Let us read HIS word to someone who needs to hear it.

Come to our FATHER with an attitude of gratitude.  For we have so much to be thankful for.  Our FATHER loves us!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, tonight I thank YOU for this week past.  I thank YOU for a future whether that be here on earth or with YOU in Heaven.  I thank YOU that YOU loved me first.  I love YOU FATHER and I offer my life to YOU to do with as YOU will.  I pray this in the Holy name of Jesus Christ.  Amen!

No matter what - Trust in GOD!

 We need to trust in GOD for all things, not just when things are going well. GOD has a plan and we do not know what that plan is or what it entails.  Suffice that we should have the joy and knowledge that our FATHER in Heaven knows exactly what, where and how HE is planning.  And we know from our hearts and from the Bible that GOD is always right.

GOD can never be wrong.  So when things do not go our way, we need to stop and think about whether what we want is in line with what GOD wants.  This is the most important point of trusting in GOD.  Not to just trust GOD when things are going well.

So when things go badly wrong, families are split apart by various things like death and families splitting up for various reasons, jobs lost or incomes lost, those are the times to put all our trust in GOD.  HIS way is the perfect way!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that YOUR way is perfect and I am a mere mortal sinner.  I thank YOU FATHER that I can trust YOU with my life.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.
