Our GOD clothed with splendour and majesty!

 

Our Heavenly FATHER is clothed in splendour and majesty.  I often think of the Prophet Ezekiel falling down at the vision of our FATHER that he saw.  I think of Moses on the Mountain when he was with GOD and Elijah and Moses came down transfigured.  His face was so radiant that he had to wear a veil.

And that leads me to think of what Heaven will be like, at the feet of our FATHER clothed in majesty and splendour.

What will it be like to see Jesus coming in the clouds to fetch His bride home?

This is a wonderful thought of the our future.  And all we need to do to get there is to bow down and worship our FATHER.  We need to accept Jesus as our Lord and our Saviour.  But most of all, we need to repent and accept that we sinful.

Today let us do that!

Prayer:  Dearest FATHER, I thank YOU for YOUR grace and YOUR wonder and YOUR majesty.  I thank YOU for saving me through Jesus Christ.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

We are forgiven if we admit we are sinners!

 Our FATHER in Heaven loves us so much that HE was willing to sacrifice HIS Son for us.

When we will but admit that we are sinners and confess this truth to GOD.  When we put our faith and trust in Jesus Christ, GOD forgives us.

Not only does GOD forgive us, HE removes our sin as far as East is from West.  This is truly amazing.  No matter what we have done, no matter who we have wronged, GOD forgives us. We look to GOD as Jesus looks to HIM.

We are in Jesus and the Holy Spirit is in us.

Today, admit that we are sinners.  Ask for forgiveness and set ourselves free from the burdens of guilt that we carry around.

Prayer:  Dearest FATHER in Heaven, thank YOU for YOUR mercy.  Thank YOU for YOUR grace.  Thank YOU that I can have Jesus Christ in my life.  Thank YOU for YOUR Holy Spirit living in me.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Freedom in the Spirit!

 When we believe in Jesus Christ, we are filled with the Holy Spirit.  And the belief in Jesus Christ allows us to repent and be changed.  We are set free from the burden of our past sins.  We know that GOD has forgiven us.  And we no longer are going to face a life in hell.

That is the wonder of the Holy Spirit.  

But if we do not admit that we are sinners, we are not true believers in Jesus.

We are not set free from our sins.  We are not forgiven.

Therefore ii is imperative to be in the Holy Spirit and to have the Holy Spirit in us.  It is imperative to know that we are sinful and to ask GOD to forgive us. Then we have freedom in the Spirit.  This asking for forgiveness is a part of the Lord's prayer taught to the disciples by Jesus Christ Himself.

Prayer:  Our FATHER who art in Heaven,

Hallowed be Thy Name,

Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth - as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread,

And forgive us our trespassers as we forgive those who trespass against us.

Deliver us from evil.

For Thine is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory,

Forever and ever.

Amen.

Sing to the LORD!

 The LORD our GOD has done marvelous things. Through our FATHER in Heaven, everything was created.  Nothing was created without GOD.

Each and every person on earth was designed and created by GOD.  We are made in HIS image.

And then GOD gave us free will.  Because HE loves us so.  We have the free will to love GOD or to reject GOD.

The act of loving GOD requires that we also praise our FATHER in Heaven  It requires our faith, not only in GOD but in Jesus Christ.  And if we reject Jesus, we reject GOD.  Jesus is the only way to get to GOD.  Without Jesus we can never come to GOD.

This is why it is imperative that if we want an eternity with our FATHER, we need to know the story of GOD and of Jesus and our salvation.  We need to grasp our position and then to accept it.

Today, if you have never done so, accept Jesus Christ.  Learn to know Jesus by reading the word of GOD.  Learn to know the will of GOD by praying to HIM. 

The biggest way to get to know GOD is by admitting that we are sinners and by repenting of our sins.  Jesus promised that when we do that, the Holy Spirit will come and indwell us and guide us towards our home with our everlasting FATHER in Heaven.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, today I sing to YOU.  I praise YOU for YOUR grace and favour.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Our faithful FATHER in Heaven!

 GOD is merciful.  And we are sinners.  If GOD had chosen not to send HIS only Son, Jesus Christ, to die on that cross to save you and I from our sinful ways, we would only have hell to look forward to.

But, because of the great merciful FATHER we have as our own FATHER, we can look forward to an eternity with Jesus in Heaven.

Therefore, in thankfulness of what our FATHER did for us and for Jesus, who came to earth, and added humanity to His deity, we need to sing of the mercies of our CREATOR forever.

We need to leave legacies of worship.  We need to bow down and worship this magnanimous FATHER who loves you and I so much.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I bow down and worship YOUR mighty Name.  I thank YOU for YOUR grace and favour in sending Jesus Christ, my Redeemer to die on that cross so that my sins could be washed white.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Sin and Forgiveness!

 We are sinful by nature.  But we are forgiven if we will only admit that we are sinners.  And no, not one of us is righteous.  Going to Church does not make us righteous.  Praying does not make us righteous.  Thinking that we are good people, does not make us righteous.

The only righteousness of this world and in the universe rests in our perfect FATHER.  Our CREATOR, the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ.  That is all that is righteous.

So how do we get "right" with GOD?

Admit that we are sinners.

Believe in Jesus Christ, who He is and what He did for you and me.

Confess this truth with our mouths.

And we need to do this on a daily basis.  Because there is not one day that passes that we do not sin.  No not even one.  If we think badly of someone, that is a sin.  If we fail to help someone whom we could have helped - that is a sin.  If we do not worship GOD when we have the chance, then that is a sin.  If we ascribe goodness of anything where GOD should get the glory, that is a sin. If we are jealous - that is a sin.

So from the above it is completely apparent that we are sinful. 

Today accept that we are sinners.  Believe in Jesus and confess this truth.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I am a sinner.  No better than any other sinner.  Forgive me FATHER.  I believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and my Saviour, my Redeemer.  I confess this truth with my mouth.  Fill me with YOUR Holy Spirit anew, FATHER.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The unfailing love of GOD!

 What is very certain in a really uncertain world is the unfailing love of our FATHER in Heaven.  Our FATHER is dependable, reliable and sure.

Whatever happens today, the sun will set and tomorrow it will rise again.  The stars come out even if they are hidden by clouds.  The moon appears and tomorrow it will be blotted out by the sun.

The people of this earth are born and they die.  But the love of our FATHER outlives them all.

Each and every day, we have the opportunity to accept the enormous love of our FATHER for us.  We have free will to choose to love HIM back.

Today, make the choice.  Accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour.  Admit that we are sinners and that we simply cannot go through life sinless.  Choose repentance.  Choose to call upon the name of Jesus Christ.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU for YOUR love and I thank YOU that Jesus loves me so much that He came to this earth to die for my sins.  Forgive my sins FATHER.  I repent and I turn to YOU with all my heart.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Serve GOD acceptably!

 Do we serve GOD acceptably.  Or do we serve GOD out of habit.  

Today, let us make a conscious decision to serve our GOD with what is acceptable in HIS sight.  Not our own. 

Our FATHER deserves the very best that we can give HIM.  Not the leftover time in our day.  Not the leftover moments in our week.

We need to set aside at least 10 percent of our time to be with GOD.  Whether that is praying, reading HIS word or listening to a sermon.

We should also enjoy our time with our FATHER.  Because we want to be with HIM.  Our time with HIM should not be a chore, but a pleasure.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, thank YOU for YOUR time that I can spend with YOU.  FATHER make me mindful to spend quality time with YOU.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Know that GOD is most HIGH!

 Know that GOD is most high over all the earth!

When we listen to the news or read the news, we read about very important people who believe that they rule the world.  But what they forget or do not know is that there is only one true MOST HIGH and that is our FATHER in Heaven.

GOD has dominion over each and every thing on this earth.  We are but a speck in a very large universe which our FATHER created.

But we are loved - truly loved by our MOST HIGH FATHER.  And we need to know this.  

That is why we need to bow down and worship our MOST HIGH FATHER in Heaven.  We need to give HIM all the glory and honour and power. Because our FATHER reigns over everything and long after we have all passed away from this earth, HE will still be the true MOST HIGH over this earth and indeed - the universe. 

Today bow down and worship our MOST HIGH FATHER in Heaven.  For HE is truly wondrous and awesome!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I worship YOU with all my heart, with all my soul and with all my strength.  I thank YOU for YOUR Holy Spirit who lives and reigns in me.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

May GOD shine HIS face upon us!

 We can always approach GOD.  GOD is always the same.  GOD is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Last night I spoke about the immutability of our FATHER in Heaven.

And when we know GOD, the one thing that we know is that GOD will not change.  GOD wants an eternal relationship with us.  That is why we were created.

We were not created to live on this earth for our three score years and ten or thereabouts.  We were created for GOD to share eternity with us.

All we have to do to accept this is to repent.  To change our minds about the fact that we are all sinners.  We need to acknowledge our sins to our FATHER.  We need to change our minds and our ways where we are sinning and to sin no more.

Obviously, this is a very difficult thing to do.  Because all sin is equally abhorrent to our Pure and Holy FATHER in Heaven.  So even a little white lie is a dirty sin to HIM.

We cannot work our way into Heaven.  And if we think we can then we nullify the work that Jesus Christ came to do on earth.  And we crucify Him again and again every time we go back to "good deeds".  We are NOT saved by our good deeds.  When we are saved, we are given good works to do.  But this is a result and not the catalyst of our salvation.  This is we need to fully grasp and understand.

We can also NOT use Hermeneutics (our own interpretations of the Bible), of the Bible.  Our interpretations of the Word of GOD are not relevant.  We cannot say that Jesus did not walk on water or He did not perform miracles because that does not fit the modern narrative.  We need to accept the following facts about Jesus.

These are that GOD planned a long time before His birth that Jesus would  come to this earth to save us.  Jesus was born to a VIRGIN.  He was not conceived in sin.  Jesus never sinned on earth so that He could be the blameless lamb, slaughtered and nailed to a cross to carry the full wrath of our FATHER in order to save you and me.  This we have to believe.

Then we need to confess this whole truth to GOD with our mouths.  Then and only then will we be saved and have the opportunity to spend eternity with our FATHER.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU tonight for Jesus Christ.  I am a sinner.  I believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and my Saviour.  I confess this truth with my mouth.  FATHER make YOUR face to shine upon me.  This I pray in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Hear the word of the LORD!

We need to hear the word of GOD.  Throughout the generations, the greatest thing that has ever happened in the history of our world, is the WORD of GOD.

We are so blessed to have a Bible and to be able to read it whenever and wherever we want.  In a lot of countries still today, Christians are persecuted for even having a Bible.  

But you and I can read the history of the CREATOR and our universe.  We can read how GOD made covenants with Abraham and Isaac.  We can read how GOD rescued humanity through Noah or saved the Jewish people using Moses.  We can read about the coming of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.  We can read the Revelation that Jesus gave to John and which he dutifully recorded for us.

Most of all we can read about heaven and hell.  We can read about the rapture and the second coming of Jesus.  We can read the consequences of disobeying GOD.  We can read about the rewards of living a GOD inspired life.

Today accept that we need to know the word of GOD and start reading HIS word daily.  Make this a habit and make this covenant with GOD, to read HIS word every single day, no matter what.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, thank YOU that I can read YOUR word unhindered daily.  Thank YOU that I know what Heaven and hell look like through YOUR word.  Thank YOU that I know my Saviour Jesus Christ and I can read about what HE did for me on earth and in heaven.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Our Immutable FATHER!

 

Our FATHER is unchanging. And in this fast paced, ever changing world we live in, there is only one thing that we can truly depend on and that is our FATHER in Heaven.

GOD has given us HIS word to read, and that does not change.  GOD sent HIS Son to die for us and that does not change.  GOD promised us heaven or hell and that does not change.

GOD has promised us that if we accept Jesus Christ, if we admit that we are sinners and if we confess this with our mouths, we are saved.  And that does not change.

So today, accept what is true and faithful.  Accept Jesus Christ.  Be filled with the Holy Spirit.  Repent and turn away from this unreliable world in which we live.  Be saved!

Prayer: ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU for YOUR steadfastness.  I thank YOU that I can always depend upon YOU and Jesus.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD forever!

 When the Holy Spirit comes to live in us, we feel His presence.  And the Psalmist here describes this perfectly.  GOD is the strength of our hearts.

Our portion forever.  Our hearts should be filled to overflowing with love for our FATHER in Heaven.  And we should love GOD because HE loved us first.

We have absolutely nothing to give GOD except our love.  And the only reason we can give HIM our love is because we have received it from HIM.

Could we ever sacrifice our children because of our love for GOD?  I do not believe so.

And yet this is exactly what our FATHER did for us about two thousand years ago.  Knowing that you and I were going to be born.  Knowing that we were going to sin.  Knowing that we could not possibly have a chance to spend eternity with GOD.  GOD sent HIS Son to take our place on that cross.

Today, accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour.  Admit that we are sinners.  Confess this truth with our mouths and be saved and have a full portion of GOD from now until eternity.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, I have my full portion with my love for YOU.  Thank YOU for Jesus Christ, my Lord and my Saviour.  Thank YOU for YOUR grace in saving me from my sins.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The coming of the Messiah foretold in the Old Testament!

Oh GOD my refuge!

 GOD is our refuge and our strength.  Ever present, never leaving us nor forsaking us.  

We leave GOD all the time.  We wander off and then when the going gets tough we look around and see who can help.  When we realize that we are all alone, we run to GOD.

GOD never changes.  GOD always accepts us back when we show remorse, when we repent and turn to HIM.

The Psalmist here recognises the immutability of our FATHER.  GOD give us HIS grace and HIS favour.  With that comes our hope.  And our only hope is in our FATHER through Jesus Christ HIS Son.

Today, accept Jesus. Ask GOD to be your refuge and your strength.  You will be amazed!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU for YOUR strength and for YOUR grace.  I admit FATHER that I am helpless without YOUR strength.  I accept Jesus Christ as my only Redeemer.  I pray all of this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Ye be thankful!

 I sometimes forgot to be thankful to GOD.  I remember to thank people on earth, but forget to thank GOD for all the little things.  Yes in prayer, I always say thank YOU FATHER.  But how often in the day do good things happen to us that we just take for granted.

The other day we, my husband and I went out for a rare treat.  We had breakfast out together.  And I might add that this is an extremely rare occurrence nowadays.  And when we had finished our breakfast, the restaurant manager gave us a generous slice of cheese cake to take home.  It was a small gesture, but greatly appreciated.

But how often in our day do good things happen.  And it is every day.  Every day the sun rises and the sun sets.  These are good things and we need to thank GOD.  We wake up to families still alive and friends still alive and we are still alive.  These are good things and we need to thank GOD.  We have homes to live in and food to eat.  These are good things and we need to thank GOD.

The sun shines or it rains.  And these are good things.  We need to thank GOD.

Let us be far more mindful of all that GOD has given us.  And let us be far more thankful.  Let us come before our FATHER with attitudes of gratitude each and every day.  Let us thank GOD for each and every thing that we have in our lives each and every day as we notice them.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU for all that I have.  I thank YOU for all that is on this earth.  FATHER I thank YOU from the bottom of my heart for each and every precious day on this earth.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Know GOD!

 GOD wants us to know HIM intimately.  GOD has given you and I free will.  And with that comes the choice to know GOD or not to know HIM.

Our gracious FATHER in Heaven loves us.  HE loved us before we were born.  HE wants a living close relationship with each one of us.  And that is why HE gave us HIS Son Jesus Christ.

If we choose to know GOD and to know Jesus and to believe in Jesus, we are filled with the Holy Spirit who takes up residence within us.

This is a wonderful thing.  But we still need to grow our relationship with GOD.  We need to keep it alive and nurture it.  We do this by fellowshipping with other Christians.  We grow in our knowledge of GOD by reading HIS word daily.  And we get to know GOD through prayer.

Today, if you do not belong to a Church.  Find one and join.  Make sure that the Church you choose is teaching that the Bible is the infallible and inerrant word of GOD.  Find out what the Pastor believes.  And ensure that this lines up with what is in the Bible.

Get to know GOD by joining Christian prayer groups and by reading blogs like this one.  You will find enormous joy and peace when you really get to know GOD.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU for the beautiful relationship that I have with YOU.  I know that Jesus is my Lord and my Saviour.  This gives me such comfort.  I thank YOU FATHER for YOUR grace and favour.  I love YOU FATHER.  I pray all of this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

 GOD is a gracious GOD forgiving us our sins if we will but repent.  But if we choose to remain in our sinful state, we need to know that we are earning an eternity of hell.

But being our gracious, loving, forgiving FATHER, GOD sent HIS beloved Son Jesus Christ to this earth.  To be born of a virgin mother so that He was sinless in His humanity.

On earth, Jesus was baptized, remained sinless, even under temptation by satan himself, and then was put on trial for our sins.  Jesus allowed all of this so that GOD could pour out HIS wrath on HIS Son on the cross so that we could have eternity in Heaven.

So I ask you today, choose to remain dead to a life in Heaven - stay stubborn and believe that your good deeds are going to get you to Heaven?  Or choose life with Jesus.  Admit that we are sinners.  Believe in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour.  Confess this Truth and be saved.

The Holy Spirit will be poured out on you when you do this.

A tribute to a Lady of Noble Character - Ouma Liesa!

Today we celebrate the life of a Lady of Noble Character who passed away in the early hours of today,  Ouma Liesa. When I read the passage above, you were the physical embodiment of this wife.  

But Ouma Liesa, you were much much more than that.  Ouma Liesa we, knew that you were a child of GOD and tonight we know that you have gone to your eternal home in Heaven.

When we are children of GOD, although our loved ones will grieve for the loss of our company at our departure from this earth, our loved ones are assured that where we are going, we will be loved by Jesus and GOD and the Holy Spirit.  A celebration will be held tonight in Heaven to welcome you home Ouma Liesa.

Ouma you were truly a magnificent woman, a devoted mother, a caring grandmother, a loving wife, a dear dear friend.  But most of all you are beloved of Jesus.  And we know that you love the Lord Jesus.

Ouma Liesa, tonight we celebrate with you that you are no longer in any pain or discomfort.  Your tears at leaving your family behind on earth will be wiped away by our Loving FATHER in Heaven who went ahead to prepare a place for you where you will rest your head tonight.

We thank our FATHER in Heaven for sending us HIS daughter, Ouma Liesa to this earth for all your years to bring us such joy and happiness. We thank Jesus for the fine example that you set to the rest of us on how to be a truly loving, giving wonderful person who loves the LORD. 

Rest in the loving arms of Jesus, Ouma.  We will miss you dearly.  With love, Bev.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, tonight we cry out to YOU to give us comfort in our loss here on earth of our beautiful Ouma Liesa.  FATHER thank YOU for sending YOUR Son to die on a cross so that Ouma Liesa could be certain in her belief of Jesus Christ, that she will spend eternity with YOU.  We thank YOU for YOUR grace and favour.  We pray all of this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Follow Jesus!

 Jesus is the light of the world.  Our belief in Jesus moves us away from darkness and into the light.  Where there is light, there cannot be any darkness.

Satan wants us to be in the dark.  Because in the darkness evil can gain a foothold.  

However, when the light shines in the darkness, the darkness dissipates and fades away.

Today, choose to walk with Jesus in the Light.  Choose to walk with Jesus in the Truth.  Choose to believe in Jesus and be filled with Light, Truth and the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit will guide you to be in an eternal relationship with our CREATOR FATHER in Heaven!

Prayer: ABBA FATHER, today I thank YOU that I know Jesus is the Light.  I thank YOU that I have Jesus in my life to shine His light, His truth and His life on my life.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Repentance!

 As we are born sinful, we need to know that we are sinners.  Therefore each and every person needs to repent.  

When we repent, and take Jesus Christ as our Lord and our Saviour, the Holy Spirit comes to live in us.  The Holy Spirit guides us to turn from our old ways.  The ways of the unrepentant.  The ways of the world and to become more and more like Jesus. 

This is a visible transformation.  And it should be apparent even to ourselves.  

If you are living a life that is of this world, you will not be offended by bad language or disrespect for the poor and your desires will be of this earth.

But when you are truly repentant, the things of this world become strangely dim.  And things that are offensive to our Lord become offensive to us.  Like bad language, the open display of sexuality, the disregard for the poor and the elderly.  The tolerance for immorality and the disregard for human life. 

All of these things will become hurtful to your soul and to your spirit.  The moral decay of the world becomes glaringly obvious.  The attention to monetary wealth and success becomes a little more undesirable.  Slowly you become aware that GOD wants us to lead lives that store up the treasures for ourselves in Heaven.  These are signs of a repentant heart and this is what GOD wants from us.

We need to love GOD above anything on earth.  We need to worship GOD above anything on earth.  And we need to know that our eternal lives are totally dependent upon this transformation of our souls.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER teach me obedience to YOUR ways.  Show me how to become more like Jesus each and every day.  I humbly pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The Day is approaching!

 Let us spur one another on towards love and good deeds.  Not giving up meeting together but encouraging one another.  All the more so as we see the day approaching.

What day?? 

The Rapture.  Jesus is coming and the trumpet will sound and in the clouds Jesus will appear to all His Bride and He will come and take us back with Him to the place He has prepared for us.

This is a thrilling thought.  But are we ready?

Well there is no packing to do.  No wills to draw up. No houses to sell or cars or possessions.  Because we are taking nothing but ourselves.  It is a blessing but Jesus has prepared for us.

We have need of nothing because Jesus has seen to our every need.  We will get new transformed bodies.  We will have clothes to wear that He has chosen for us.

To get to come with, what do we have to do?

Admit that we are sinners.

Believe in Jesus Christ as our Lord and our Saviour.

Confess this truth with our mouths.

Nothing else.  The grace of our FATHER is there for the taking.  Take it today before it is too late!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU for YOUR grace and favour.  I am a sinner.  Forgive me FATHER.  FATHER, I believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and my Saviour.  He is the only way to YOU.  This I know and I confess this with my mouth. I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

By Faith!

 Nothing was made by accident.  The earth, the universe and everything in it were made by the divine will of our CREATOR FATHER GOD.

GOD spoke the entire universe into existence.  GOD spoke and the earth was formed.  GOD spoke and the light was separated from the dark.  GOD spoke time into being.

Then GOD took dust and formed man and blew breath into his nostrils.  

Eve was made out of the rib of Adam.

So we are not an accident.  We were formed at the divine will of GOD.

And through our faith we understand that the universe was formed at the command of GOD. Everything was made out of what we cannot know and what we cannot understand.

But what we do have is faith and belief.  Faith that GOD is our CREATOR.  Belief that we can have a life in Heaven with our FATHER through our Saviour, Jesus Christ, by the grace of GOD.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, today I declare that YOU are my CREATOR.  I believe that Jesus Christ is my Saviour and the only way to spend eternity with YOU is my belief in Him.

I declare that I am a sinner and I humbly ask that YOU forgive my sins as I forgive those who sin against me.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and my Saviour.  Amen.

GOD is GOD!

GOD is GOD!  GOD is not a human being.  GOD is not the same as us.  We are made in the image of GOD, but not one of us is equal to GOD.

We cannot make a planet.  We cannot create a universe.  We certainly are not capable of creating a star or a sun or indeed of even replicating our earth.

We serve a mighty GOD.  A CREATOR GOD.  Our GOD is bigger than anything.  Our GOD is stronger than anything.  Our GOD is Holier than anything.  Our GOD is truly magnificent and HE deserves our praise and our worship.  HE deserves our loyalty.  HE deserves our love.

Today let us bow down and worship our truly wonderful and gracious FATHER in Heaven.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I adore YOU.  I bless YOU FATHER.  I worship YOU FATHER.  Thank YOU FATHER that I am alive on earth to bow down before YOUR throne and call YOU ABBA FATHER.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Do not love money!

 We live in a particularly materialistic world.  Everything seems to be measured in monetary terms.  The car you drive, the house you live in, the designer clothes labelled so that all can witness what you purportedly pay for them.

But think on one thing.  GOD does not require us to take anything back to Heaven with us when we die.

What Jesus told us to do was to store up our treasures in Heaven.  

So what does that mean?  Firstly it does not mean that our good works will get us into Heaven.  But to get to Heaven, we have to do one thing and that is to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and our Saviour and then to confess that we are sinners and acknowledge out loud that Jesus is our Redeemer.

However, when we do this, we are filled with the Holy Spirit.  And the Holy Spirit will guide us to do the good works, prepared in advance of our lives by GOD for us to do.

And these good works, the result of the work of the Holy Spirit have filled us and having shown us what to do in order to give all our Glory to GOD, are our treasures in Heaven.

We cannot get to Heaven on good works alone.  Only through Jesus Christ.  But we can do good works in order to give all the glory to GOD on earth.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, keep me from storing up treasures on earth and show me how to store up treasures in Heaven.  Give me good works to do on earth which showcase YOUR glory and the light of Jesus Christ on this earth.  I humbly pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

God numbers our days on earth!

 GOD is the only one who numbers our days.  It is GOD's choice how long we shall live on this earth.

What we need to do is to cherish our days on earth.  This has been brought home to us so sharply with the COVID virus. One day we are talking to people and the next they have left the earth.  

GOD loves each one of us, which is why HE created us.  GOD knew us long before we were born on earth.

HE has given you and I the free will to choose whether or not we want to spend eternity with HIM.

We can do this if we give our lives over to HIM through HIS Son Jesus Christ.  

If you have never done so, I would urge you to accept Jesus as your Lord and your Saviour tonight.  Do not tarry for tomorrow may be too late.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that I have chosen Jesus Christ as my Lord and my Saviour.  I thank YOU for YOUR grace in sending YOUR Son to die in my place on that cross.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Blessed is the man who does not walk in the way of the wicked!

 Let us delight in our Lord.  Let us walk in the ways of our Lord.  Let us worship and praise our Lord.

GOD our FATHER wants us to follow HIS commands and HE wants us to do that in order to save us from our sinful desires.

When we walk in the way of the Lord, we do not end up hurting others.  We do not hurt ourselves.  It really is that simple.  The paths of the Lord lead us to Heaven.  When we choose our own paths and we take twists and turns, there are great ramifications.  Not only for our own lives, but for the lives of those around us.

And when we are young and enthusiastic and want to get on in life, it is sometimes a fact that the quick paths are the easiest.  But more often than not, the quick path also is the crooked path.

So, today, let us make good choices.  Let us pray to our FATHER in Heaven to give us the wisdom and the insight to stay on HIS path and to follow only HIM.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I humbly pray that YOU show me the way to follow only YOU.  I humbly pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Lead me in truth!

When I read the Psalms, they seem to speak to me directly.  And in the fickleness of this world today, with all the skewed ideals, the "your truths" and the corruption and scandals which seem to be the norm, it is increasingly true that the only dependable thing is Jesus, GOD and the Holy Spirit.

Watching the news or reading about what is going on in the world is depressing.  But it also illuminates the Truth of our FATHER and the Truth of Jesus.

To me it is evident that we are living in the end of times.  It may not be before I go to be with GOD, but I sense that this world simply cannot go on as it is.

The one world order is rapidly approaching.  The trumpet will sound and Jesus will come in the clouds to fetch His bride home. Be ready and watch!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, Teach me tonight FATHER, show me how to live only in YOUR truth.  I  pray this all and I thank you in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
