In these end times, we need to be vigilant and alert.  We will answer to GOD if we do not do our bit here on earth before we depart it. 

We need to be looking to see whether we can make a difference in someone's life - someone who does not know GOD or Jesus.  We need to spread the Gospel and tell the story of GOD on earth.

We need to pray constantly.  We need to use the gifts GOD has given us to serve HIM and to shine HIS light on earth while we still have time.

And in this verse above, Peter exhorts us to be faithful stewards of the gifts and talents that GOD has given to each one of us.

Although we may not know or recognise our talents, we have each been given many gifts that we can use to serve GOD, to showcase HIS glory and to ease the burdens for others. If you do not know your gifts, ask a friend.  Pray to GOD to show you where HE wants to use you and ask GOD for HIS direction in using your gifts.

To GOD be the glory, let us use our gifts and talents and let us do HIS will on earth.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, tonight I humbly pray that YOU will use me on earth to spread YOUR word and to shine YOUR light into the lives of people who need YOU.  I pray that YOU would use me in any way that YOU want.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Call to GOD and HE will answer you!

 GOD invites us always to speak to HIM.  GOD wants a living intimate relationship with each one of us.  GOD fashioned us and formed us long before we were aware of HIM.

GOD knit us together in our mother's wombs.  GOD knows so much about each one of us that HE numbers the hairs on our heads.

How much do we know about GOD?

We only know as much about GOD as we have allowed ourselves to know.

We can know GOD much better by reading HIS word.  We can know GOD by hearing HIS voice calling to us if we will just be still and listen.  We can know the Will of GOD by praying and actually waiting for GOD to answer to us.  We can know the Will of GOD by listening to like minded Christians who have been given a message by GOD to give to you.  

In this Bible verse GOD says "Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things that you do not know".

Try it out today.  Call to GOD and ask HIM to show you great and unsearchable things that you do not know and watch GOD answer you.

Prayer:  Holy FATHER in Heaven, I thank YOU that YOU tell me great and unsearchable things that I do not know.  FATHER I am listening for YOUR voice tonight.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The beginning of sorrows!

 "Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place.."  Matthew 24:34.

This is the speaking of Jesus in relation to His coming to fetch His Bride - The Church here on earth.

And if we take it that Israel did not exist again until 1948. And  as we are living in the generation that follows that great event, it is extremely likely that Jesus is coming soon.  It feels to me that we are going to witness the coming of Jesus in the clouds to fetch His elect!  And I am not alone in this thinking.

As we face nation rising against nation with this pandemic.  As we face trials and tribulations of lock downs and PCR tests and COVID fears and COVID deaths and vaccines, surely this feels like the end of times.  Christians are being persecuted for being - well Christian. 

The beginning of sorrows is upon us.  So we need to be ready to meet with Jesus for we know not the hour or the time.  But we can read the seasons and we can prepare to be taken at any moment.

What I would ask you tonight is - are you ready?  Have you repented?  Have you taken Jesus as your Lord and your Saviour.  Are you filled with the Holy Spirit.  Because if you answered no to any one of these questions, you will not be going with Jesus.  You will be left behind and you will face the tribulation.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, tonight I would ask that anyone reading this please repents of their sins.  I would ask that they accept Jesus as their Redeemer.  I would ask that YOU, FATHER fill them with YOUR Holy Spirit.  I humbly ask this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

 Sometimes when we are faced with great difficulties, it is wise to turn to the Word of GOD.  This morning when I woke up, this was my Bible verse for the day.

Today is a challenging day for me.  I have had to contend with a great disappointment.  We will not be able to spend Christmas with our grandchildren due to the COVID variant having manifested in South Africa.

I am sure for a lot of people the travel ban is a blow, coming after a difficult and trying time of lockdowns, Government rules and regulations, financial hardships caused by the loss of income during the pandemic and the loss of loved ones due to the pandemic.

However, GOD is ever present.  GOD will never leave us or forsake us.  GOD at hand.  GOD loves us - no matter what we are facing.

We are never alone, no matter what!  All we have to do is to lean into the loving arms of our FATHER and trust in HIM.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that I can always count on YOU.  FATHER, today I humbly ask that YOU shine YOUR face on me and be gracious to me.  I ask that YOU lift up YOUR countenance on me and give me YOUR peace.  I pray for this blessing in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD is my salvation!

I am more convinced than ever that the only thing that is completely trustworthy is my faith and my hope in Jesus Christ. That faith and hope is given to us from GOD through HIS mercy, love and boundless grace.  That faith is given to us freely and cannot be earned or bought at any price set by anyone on earth.  

The price for our salvation has been paid in full by Jesus Christ on that cross of Calvary.  The price was paid by the blood shed for you and I to wash away our sins, past, present and future.

Jesus is the only light in this very dark world that we live in.

Therefore, I will trust only in GOD and I will not be afraid.

GOD truly is my strength and my song.  And my salvation comes from HIM alone, through my faith and love and hope vested in Jesus Christ, my Redeemer, my Lord and my Saviour.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that YOUR grace has saved me.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The LORD GOD our Potter - us the clay!

 As we face the trials of this life, we should remember that our FATHER in Heaven is shaping our characters.  HE is refining us to conform to HIS will when we give up our free will and surrender to HIS.

GOD has a perfect plan for our lives.

What we need to do is to get into GOD's plan and that means letting go of our own desires and our own will for our lives.

So how do we do this?

It starts with the acceptance of our sinful natures.  The forgiveness of our sins when we ask for it by GOD.  The belief that Jesus is the Son of GOD.  That He came to this earth, adding humanity to His deity for our sakes.  Jesus died on the cross for you and for me. 

Then it goes on to the indwelling of the Holy Spirit when we have accepted the truth of who Jesus is and who we are.

Once the Holy Spirit dwells in us, He guides us to a path that leads to GOD.  We know when we sin.  We are convicted when we sin.  We want to know GOD better.  We want to become more like Jesus on earth.  We pray more, we ask GOD for everything.  We accept that we are children of GOD and we go to GOD with our every need.

GOD then eventually becomes the centre of lives.  Our lives change and this change is visible to those around us.

We read the Word of GOD and we ask GOD to shine HIS light through us on earth.

When we get to that stage, truly GOD is our potter and we are the clay.  Become the clay today and let GOD make something beautiful out of our lives today!

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER take my life and make it meaningful for YOUR work on earth.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me!

 I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and my Saviour.  I have accepted the fact that I am born a sinner and that the only way I can ever be redeemed from my sinful life is through the grace of GOD and the belief in Jesus Christ as my only Redeemer.

Jesus Christ came to this earth for me and for you.  He came to be the scapegoat, the sacrificial lamb.  He was absolutely sinless, blameless and righteous.

Jesus was not born by the will of a human but by the Divine Will of GOD.

Jesus knew no sin.  Jesus took all my sins and your sins to that cross and our sins, each and every one was poured out on Him so that we might be saved.

I know that and I am therefore filled with the Holy Spirit who now convicts me each and every time I sin.

And therefore I know that the Holy Spirit is indeed upon me and if you will accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, accept that you are a sinner and confess this truth with your mouth, the Holy Spirit will be upon you too!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU for YOUR grace and favour.  I thank YOU that I have the Holy Spirit.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GODs love for us poured out through the Holy Spirit!

GOD promises us that HE will never leave us nor forsake us.  So when we admit that we are sinners, and believe in Jesus Christ as our Redeemer and confess this truth, we receive the Holy Spirit who comes to dwell in us.

The Holy Spirit gives us comfort when we need it.  In our sufferings the Holy Spirit works in us to produce perseverance, perseverance produces character and character produces most of all - hope.

Hope strengthens our faith.  

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Hebrews 11:1.

We cannot see Christ, we cannot see the Holy Spirit, we cannot see Heaven.  But through faith we know that all of these are true and without them our lives would have no meaning.

Our absolute faith is in our hope that we will one day see and be with Jesus Christ!

Prayer:   Heavenly FATHER I thank YOU that YOU poured YOUR Holy Spirit into me and that gives me hope in my faith.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD with us!

 Some days in life just seem much harder than other days.  And it is on those days that we need to run straight into the arms of our Loving FATHER in Heaven.

For GOD will never leave us and HE will never forsake us.  GOD will strengthen us and GOD will help us.  What we need to do is to trust that GOD is our refuge and our strength.  An ever present help in times of trouble or times of need.

And that leads me to the faith that we need to have to know and to accept the peace of GOD which transcends all understanding.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU that I can always run to YOU and that I know without a shadow of a doubt that YOU will never leave me nor forsake me.  FATHER I thank YOU for YOUR grace and favour in loving me unconditionally.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Wisdom!

 As a child of GOD we need to set good examples of how to act and how to conduct ourselves on earth.  And in order to do that, we need wisdom.  

GOD tells us that if we ask for wisdom, it shall be given. 

James 1:5 tells us that if you ask for wisdom, God will give it generously without finding fault: “If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.”

GOD will not give us riches or power or importance if we ask for it, but HE will give us wisdom.

More and more, I know that I lack wisdom.  So I need to constantly ask GOD to give me wisdom.  Wisdom to know when to talk.  Wisdom to know when to keep silent.  Wisdom to know when to act and wisdom to know when to do nothing.

But I am also aware that as I am asking for wisdom, GOD is giving me wisdom.  This I sense in my dealings with people.

More and more I see that I am wrong on many points and I am asking for forgiveness more and more as I see the error of my ways.

As I have said before, Christianity looks like something.  If we are not growing or changing, we need to ask ourselves whether we are in fact children of GOD or just going through the motions.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER today I humbly ask for wisdom.  I need to wisdom to know how to live my life to reflect YOUR light on earth.  I humbly ask this in the Holy name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Salvation only through Jesus!

 There simply is no way to get salvation except through Jesus Christ.  Jesus Christ himself said.  "I am the way the truth and the life.  No one comes to the FATHER except through me" John 14:6.

GOD did not send HIS prophets to die in our place.  GOD sent HIS only Son.  GOD gives us the Holy Spirit to indwell us when we admit that we are sinners and when we believe whole heartedly that Jesus is our Redeemer.  The Holy Spirit shows us the way to the FATHER.

The Holy Spirit guides us and shows us how to truly repent and become anew in the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit helps us to grow and to look more like Jesus on earth.

So if you will accept the fact that you are a sinner.  If you will believe in Jesus as the Only Saviour, given to us through the immense grace of GOD to redeem our sins, and if you will confess this truth with your mouth, the Holy Spirit will take up residence in you. 

You will have a change of heart and you will want to know GOD much much more.

True Christianity shines a light in the darkness of this world.  And it is noticeable!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that I am made anew in the Holy Spirit through my faith in Jesus Christ.  Tonight, FATHER, I again humbly ask that YOU forgive my sins as I forgive those who sin against me.  I ask this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The LORD is at hand!

 We will know the season of the coming of the LORD.  We may not know the hour or the time, but the seasons are clear.

And Paul tells us not to be anxious about anything.  If we are truly children of GOD, we know that we can trust our FATHER to take care of our every need.

But that is the key.  We need to trust in GOD.  Why wouldn't we?  GOD made the heavens and the earth.  GOD made the trees and the sky and the sun and the moon and the stars.  So GOD knows what we need to live and to sustain ourselves.

Then that this is all the more reason to trust in GOD.  

We need to take all our needs to GOD.  Even although HE knows what we need.  We need to commune with GOD because HE wants a living relationship with each one of us.  When we confide in GOD, it shows that we have a relationship with HIM and as HE can read our hearts, HE can discern whether or not we really need what we are asking for or whether, by not giving it to us, our characters are refined.

So the thing to do is, through prayer and supplication to take everything to GOD and then not to dwell on it and not to be anxious about it until we have an answer from GOD.

Trust and obey.  For there is no other way.  To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER help me today to trust and obey.  Help me not to be anxious about anything.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD will restore you!

 Some days seem so difficult.  And yet if we are truly honest with ourselves, a lot of the difficulties are created by ourselves and through our own doing.

Whenever we do something that is not in line with what GOD wants for us, the path becomes tricky and rocky.  This is not to say that GOD is not with us on that path.  But we need to remember that GOD has a plan for our lives.  Sometimes it is difficult to see, but during the hard times, we are refined and molded into the image that GOD wants for us.

So today, celebrate the hard days.  GOD is with you wherever you are!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I love YOU and I know that YOUR plan for my life is so much better than the plan I have.  Please guide me into YOUR plan.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Think on these things!

 We serve a righteous Holy GOD.  A GOD who only knows how to the right thing.  GOD made man in HIS image.  But sin entered the world through Adam and since then, we are not the "image of GOD",  Death entered the world and only through the redemption of our sin can we be saved.

Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to avoid an eternity separated from our FATHER in Heaven.

So when we accept Jesus Christ as our Redeemer, when we admit that we are sinners and when we confess this truth with our mouths, we are saved.  Along with our salvation, we are then filled with the Holy Spirit.  And the Holy Spirit is also righteous and pure. 

We then need to think on the above verse.  We need to meditate day and night on what is true, what is noble, what is right, what is lovely, what is admirable, what is excellent and what is praiseworthy.  And the only thing that is all of these, is our FATHER GOD.  

Praise GOD from whom all blessings flow.  Praise HIM all creatures here below.  Praise HIM above ye Heavenly Host.  Praise FATHER, Son and Holy Ghost.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, thank YOU that YOU are indeed righteous.  I thank YOU in the Holy name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The day approaching!

 We need to be encouraging one another now.  And it is clearly stated here, "as we see the day approaching".

We have been prevented from meeting as bodies of Christ.  And Christ particularly wanted people to meet together.  Just think of the times that Christ fed the multitudes who had come to listen to Him.

Through meeting and discussing our faith, we grow in our faith.  When we are isolated from one another, it is so easy to go off on our own and it is even more easy to sin.  Together, we are stronger.

Now, more than ever, we need to stand fast together, united in the body of Christ.  The day is fast approaching and though we do not know the hour or the time, we can certainly read the signs.

So, get together with other children of GOD.  Worship together, talk together, sing and praise GOD together.  This encourages the growth of our faith.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, today I thank YOU that we are once again able to meet together.  Help us to grow daily in our faith, FATHER.  We humbly ask this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Do not harden your hearts!

 Jesus knocks on the door of our hearts. We have free will to let Him in or to shut Him out.

But know this, that if we continually harden our hearts, the knocking will stop and GOD will move along.

GOD cannot take away our free will.  And it entirely up to us to let Him into our lives.  

What I will say is this. When you let Jesus into your heart, your life will change.  Perhaps you will not have more of anything.  In fact you may have less of things.  But what you will have is an inner peace that transcends all understanding.  That peace comes from knowing that GOD is then in charge of our lives.  No longer do we have to lean on our own understanding.  In all things we are able to give it over to the LORD.

And who is more powerful than the FATHER we have in Heaven!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER,  I thank YOU that I let YOU into my life and did not harden my heart.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The Kingdom of GOD cannot be shaken!

 Our FATHER has given us faith, hope and love.  Our faith in the promises of GOD are strengthened by the knowledge that GOD always keeps HIS promises.  And GOD has promised us eternity with HIM if we will accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and our Saviour.

Surely it is difficult not to trust in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, when He came to earth, and although sinless, He stood in our place to be killed on the cross.

Whilst we were still sinners, Christ died for us.  So when we put our faith and our hope and our trust in Jesus, He sacrificed Himself for us to give us a chance to get to Heaven.

Therefore, it follows that the Kingdom of GOD cannot be shaken.  GOD will give us eternity with HIM through HIS grace.

Accept the grace today.  Be saved.  

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU for YOUR grace and for giving me my faith in Jesus Christ.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Faith!

 Faith!  This verse exactly describes our faith.  Having faith in Jesus is the confidence in what we hope for and the assurance about what we do not see.

Our faith in Jesus is what sets us free.  Free from an eternity separated from GOD and thrown into a lake of burning sulphur.

Our hope is in the fact that GOD sent HIS Son to die for us so that we might have eternal life with HIM.

Sin has separated us from GOD.  And to make the point, not one is righteous.  Not one.  We are all sinners.  No one is good.  No - not even one!

We all need forgiveness.  And when we are forgiven, we need a way to get back to GOD.  And that way is through our faith in HIS promise that if we accept Jesus Christ as our LORD and our Saviour, we are forgiven.  

So today choose Jesus.  Become faithful.  Have confidence in what you hope for and the assurance of what you do not see, but what you know in your heart to be true.

The only way and the only truth and the only life is in Jesus.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, today I have faith in Jesus.  Forgive my sins and set me free from a life separated from YOU.  I humbly pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Jesus defeated sin!

 When Adam sinned, he separated himself and Eve from GOD. Up until that point, GOD had walked with them and they had a living close relationship with GOD.

Through sin, death entered the world and also the need for laws and atonement.

Now when Jesus came to this earth, firstly, He was not born of a human man, but He was born of GOD through a virgin birth.

In other words, in Him there was and is no sin.  Not only that, but although tempted by Satan, Jesus never sinned.  

So when Jesus was sentenced to death, He went to the cross sinless and blameless.  He became the living LAMB of GOD.  Sinless and blameless He took all of our sins onto that cross. Our sins, present, past and future were nailed to that cross with Him and the wrath of GOD was poured out upon Him.

Then, in a final act on earth, Jesus gave up His soul and died.  

Three days He lay dead in that tomb.  Then in order to demonstrate His Deity, Jesus conquered death and rose from it.  Appearing to various people on earth for a further forty days, before He finally ascended into Heaven to sit at the right Hand of GOD our FATHER.

Thus Jesus overcame not only sin, but Jesus did what the law could never do.  Jesus gave us redemption.  The law can never redeem us.  Only our acknowledgement of our sin, our belief in Jesus as our Lord and Saviour and our confession of this truth can redeem us and give us an eternity to spend in the company of our CREATOR GOD.

The alternative is eternity in the lake of fire - hell!

You can choose today, Heaven - or hell.  You have free will and you can decide.  That is our gift from GOD.  HIS grace and our free will.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU for YOUR grace.   I choose admission of guilt as a sinner, belief in my only Saviour - Jesus Christ and I confess this truth with my mouth today.  Amen.

We work for GOD!

We are made according to the will of GOD.  We are not random nor accidental, and our life only comes from GOD.  So we shall work and we shall labour.  But this is all for GOD.  We are born with nothing and we take nothing to our graves except our bodies.

But in everything we do, we should give all the glory to GOD.  If we work to enrich ourselves and we do not give glory to GOD, we labour in vain.

So today, let us give thanks to GOD that we are able to work and we are able to give the glory to our FATHER in Heaven.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that I am able to work.  Let all my efforts be to YOUR glory.  I pray this in the Holy name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The love of the LORD!

 When we are called according to the purpose of GOD, do we always respond positively?

And the answer should always be yes. Although, sadly, more often than not, the answer is no.

We cannot fathom the plans that our FATHER has for us, for this world, for the universe.  Our GOD is greater than anything we could or would ever imagine.  We simply do not grasp the magnitude of power that our FATHER has or we would constantly be in fear and trembling at the very thought of being in HIS bad books.

So that already tells us that we simply do not understand the mysterious ways of our FATHER.

But sometimes, we get a small insight into how GOD puts things together.  And if you took all the odds on the sequence of events that happen to put the right people together to do good in the name of our FATHER, you would probably have a better chance of winning the lottery.

Our GOD has a perfect plan for our lives and all that we have to do is to pray that HIS will be done on earth and not ours.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU for YOUR grace and favour.  I thank YOU for YOUR perfect plan, which is so much better than anything I could ever devise.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The Spirit of the LORD!

Jesus was always coming to this earth.  When GOD created the world, HE had a master plan.  And that plan was always going to be perfect.

Nothing that GOD does is random or coincidental.  

Adam sinned and separated mankind from GOD.  Adam sinned and brought earthly death to this world.  Until that point, man was destined to live and walk with GOD.  From that sin, we are all born sinful.

All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of GOD.  None, not one is righteous.  Adam was made in the image of GOD.  And unfortunately, we are offspring of Adam, not of GOD.

So Jesus was sent to this earth to save us from our sins.  Jesus was born of a virgin so that He did not carry the seed of Adam.  

And long before Jesus was born, the prophet Isaiah wrote about the coming of Jesus.  The Messiah.  The Saviour of this world.  

This all shows how GOD planned to have a mechanism, a way to get us into an eternal life with HIM. 

In order to use the plan GOD has put in place for us, there are three things that we have to do. 

Firstly, admit that we are sinners.

Secondly - believe in Jesus Christ.

Thirdly, call upon the name of Jesus and confess this truth with our mouths.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, thank YOU that YOU have a plan for our lives.  Thank YOU that YOU knew that I was a sinner long before I was born.  Thank YOU for YOUR grace and favour in giving me the faith that I have in YOU.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

 What a lot of people do not realize is that when a person assumes a position of power in a country, they will one day, answer to GOD. 

This is a really terrifying thought when you think about the way a lot of people govern countries.

GOD will judge those who make unjust laws.  And there will be no one to help these people.

People in positions of power will answer for the  withholding of justice, for making widows their prey, and for robbing the fatherless.

GOD wants people in positions of power to rule honestly, being just to all.  Being fair and equitable.  And it is quite a worrying trend that today people seem to assume positions of power with impunity and the only intention that they have in doing so, is to enrich themselves and and their families.

So where does that leave you and I?  We are called upon to forgive those who sin against us, AS GOD FORGIVES US!

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHRER today I pray that I am able to forgive those who sin against me, as YOU forgive me FATHER.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Jesus is the Way.  Jesus is the Truth and Jesus is the Life.  Without belief in Jesus, we have no way to enter into eternity with our FATHER in Heaven.

We are going to live for an eternity.  But we need to choose the right way.  And the only way is through Jesus.  

It is often thought that we should not judge others.  And that is absolutely correct.  We cannot judge anyone for the Bible clearly tells us that "All have fallen short of the glory of GOD".

All have sinned.  No amount of good works is going to save us.  Nothing we can do in our own strength is going to save us.  There simply is no way to enter into Heaven of our own accord.

The only way is to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and our Saviour.  Our belief in Jesus, our faith in Him and our trust that Jesus is the Son of the FATHER, our CREATOR GOD, is the only way to enter Heaven.

So this all sounds so harsh.  What about all the religions that do not have Jesus?  And this is a valid thought.  Would a loving GOD really condemn all these to an eternity of Hell?  Quite simply no, GOD would not do that.  So HE sent HIS only Son to redeem us. And we all have the free will to believe in Jesus.  

So if you choose not to believe in Jesus, that is your free will - given to you by GOD.  And you can choose not to accept Jesus.  And you will live for eternity.  But not with GOD.

So today, as harsh as this sounds, if you do not choose Jesus, you will not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.  This is not my judgement.  This is written in the Bible.  And Jesus told us.  HE is the only way to the FATHER.  No one comes to the FATHER except through the Son.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, today I pray that a everyone accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and their Saviour.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The Majesty of our GOD YAHWEH!

We simply cannot imagine the GLORY of GOD!  Every prophet who wrote about the vision of GOD describes the absolute wonder and majesty associated with the sight of GOD.

Personally, I think we will not be able to stand in the presence of GOD.  I believe we will be on our faces before HIM.

The mere presence of GOD will be enough to knock us off our feet.

I also believe that we will feel the power, the holiness, the righteousness, the goodness and might of GOD when we enter into HIS presence.

The thought of being in the presence of GOD should be enough for all children of GOD to want to be sinless when we get there.  And on our own and of our own, that is impossible.  

We need to have accepted Jesus Christ.  Our mediator.  Our Redeemer.  The One who took our sins onto a cross so that our FATHER could pour out HIS wrath on. 

And on that cross, our sins, past present and future were washed as clean as snow.  We are made pure through the sacrifice of our sinless Saviour. 

However, if we do not admit that we are sinners.  if we do not believe in Jesus Christ, if we do not confess this, we simply cannot be saved.  And everyone will give an account of his life to GOD.

Do you want to be in the presence of GOD blameless or convicted?  The choice is yours to make.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU that I believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and my Saviour.  I thank YOU that I can confess to YOU freely that I am a sinner.  I thank YOU FATHER for YOUR grace and favour.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stop trusting in man!

 We should not trust in our own strengths or our own abilities.  We need to trust in one thing only - our FATHER in Heaven.

Our FATHER is completely trustworthy.  HE always keeps HIS promises.  GOD will never leave us nor forsake us.  We are HIS children and HE loves us dearly.

GOD wants each one of us to spend eternity with HIM.  But HE has given us freewill and we can do whatever we like.

The problem with free will is that we can choose whether or not we want to spend eternity with HIM.  If we choose to believe in ourselves rather than GOD, we are unfortunately not going to spend eternity with GOD.

We need to give up our free will and do the will of our FATHER.

How do we do this?  We pray, we read and we speak to GOD daily.  About anything and everything.  We lean not on our own understanding.  We leave everything up to the LORD.

Prayer:  FATHER, Heavenly FATHER, today I pray that YOU take hold of my life and lead me in YOUR ways.  I pray this in the Holy name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Learn to do right!

 As children of GOD we need to learn to do what is right.  Not what is right in our own eyes. But that which is right in the eyes of GOD.

And GOD has given us HIS rules.  HIS statutes and HIS commandments.  HE also sent HIS only Son Jesus Christ, a fine example to us of how to live our lives.

So what exactly is right in the eyes of GOD?  We need to love the LORD our GOD above everything on earth.  We need to love one another.  We need to follow the ten commandments to the letter.  We need to keep GOD's rules and HIS statutes.

Here is the thing.  We are born sinful.  We are separated from GOD by our sin.  

How do we get right with GOD.  We admit that we are sinners.  We ask GOD to forgive us.  We forgive those who sin against us.  We love one another.

Most of all, we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and our Redeemer.  We are then filled with the Holy Spirit and He comes to live in us.  He shines His light on our sin and convicts us when we sin.  We repent.

Repentance looks like something.  We change our hearts and our minds.  We know what is right and what is wrong.  We grow closer and closer and closer to GOD.  We begin to look like a new creation - because we are.

If people in your life do not notice that you are changing.  Then you are not.  Then you are not growing in your faith.  And you need to go back to the basics.

A - admit that you are a sinner

B - believe in Jesus Christ as Lord as Redeemer, as the only way, the only truth and the only true light of the world.

C - confess this truth with your mouth.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, thank YOU for YOUR guidance in the way that I need to grow to become more like Jesus each and every day.  FATHER I thank YOU in the Holy name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Eternity is set in our hearts!

 Let us consider the above verse.  GOD has set eternity in the human heart.  So we know that our spirit lives on after we die.

The choice of what happens after we die is entirely up to us.

And often the debate is the following.  GOD is love and would a GOD who is love condemn "good" people to an eternity of damnation?

However, we must consider the following.  GOD has given each one of us free will.  The free will to choose to believe in Jesus - or not.

The free will to admit that we are sinners - or not.  For the Bible, the inerrant word of GOD tells us that there is not one good. 

So if that is the case, then we need to believe in Jesus as the only way to get to GOD.  We need to know that we are sinners and we need to confess this.  We need to ask GOD to forgive us so that Jesus will represent us when we get to Heaven.  So that when Jesus died on that cross, He took our sins there with Him and He washed them as white as snow.

Those are the eternal things which we need to ponder today.  Will you choose eternity with GOD or eternity in hell?

Prayer:   ABBA FATHER, today I choose life with YOU in eternity.  Please forgive my sins as I forgive those who sin against me.  FATHER, I believe in Jesus Christ, my Redeemer and my Saviour.  I confess this truth today with my mouth.  I pray this in the Holy name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.
