Teach me YOUR way LORD!

When we begin to understand the magnitude of the GOD we serve, we begin to understand that GOD's way is perfect.  HE is without sin.  

The fear of the LORD is the absolute beginning of wisdom. (Proverbs 9:10).

We can and we must fear a CREATOR who can create things we have not yet even been able to comprehend let alone explore.  Here I am referring to the depths of our ocean, what lies beneath the crust of this earth.  The Sun or indeed the whole universe.  We just know such a tiny fraction of this immense creation.  And this creation was "spoken" into existence by GOD. 

Therefore following on from David's pleas.  David understood the magnitude of GOD.  David was witness to the miracles of having GOD on our side.  David also clearly understood the wrath of GOD.  He had lost his son because of his lust for Bathsheba and because he murdered Uriah the Hittite.  

Now in this Psalm David appealed to GOD and asked GOD to "teach him GOD's way".  

This is where we should all take a leaf out of David's book and fall on our knees and beg GOD to teach us HIS way. 

Let us today beg GOD to show us HIS perfect way!

Prayer:  Heavenly CREATOR GOD, ABBA FATHER, I beg YOU humbly today to show me YOUR perfect way for my life.  Show me how to be humble and gentle and kind.  Show me how to wait on YOUR guidance and not to rush into things headlong.  Show me patience LORD and guide me along this path of life. 

I pray this in the Holy Name of my Redeemer, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay patiently GOD blessed today.   

GOD is our refuge and our strength!

The Psalmist writes that GOD is our refuge and our strength.  An ever present help in times of trouble.  

As Christians, we often find ourselves in situations where we are fearful.  These are times of trouble.  We need to remember that no matter the situation, GOD is with us!  HE is our ever present GOD.  HE does not come to us only when we call on HIM.  HE is always with us.

What we need to do is to reassure ourselves that our wonderful Omniscient, Omnipresent, Omnipotent GOD is around.  To do this we need to connect with GOD by reading HIS word, by praying to HIM and by listening to HIS voice.  

Today let us turn to our wonderful CREATOR GOD and worship HIM.

Prayer; Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU that I can always feel YOUR presence.  I thank YOU that YOU are always with me.  I thank YOU for YOUR grace and mercy.  I humbly pray today in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen!

Wait on the LORD!

The Psalmist tells us to wait on the LORD.  However, whilst we are waiting, we should be of good courage and GOD will strengthen our hearts.  Then we should wait in the LORD!

What this verse is, is a precursor to Jesus telling us not to worry.  Not to worry about where we will live, or what we shall eat or what we shall wear.

So today, let us practise our Christian walk and wait on the LORD.  After all, HIS purpose is perfect.  HIS plan for our lives is perfect as HE is perfect.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, today I am waiting for YOU to show me the way.  I promise to be of good courage whilst I wait for YOU to show me the way.  I humbly pray this in the Holy Name of my Lord and my Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

All glory to GOD!

We need to give all the glory to GOD our FATHER in Heaven.  Whenever people say thank you to us, we need to remember that we have nothing to give.  We only have to give what we have received from our FATHER.

That is why we need to remember that each and every time we have something to give someone else, it came from GOD in the first instance.

Gratitude is something that is so sadly lacking in modern day society.  People seem to want the glory for themselves and they want to shine the spotlight on their own achievements.

As children of the living GOD, let us be far more mindful to always praise GOD and to give HIM all the glory!

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER GOD, today I praise YOUR Holy Name and I thank YOU FATHER for all that I am.  I thank YOU for all that I have and I thank YOU for YOUR enormous grace in giving me life eternal through Jesus Christ, my Lord and Saviour.

I pray all of this in the Holy Name of my Redeemer, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay thankfully GOD blessed today. 

Stand firm in GOD!

Stand firm in GOD!  Our GOD is Almighty and all Powerful.  HE can do anything.  And HE is on our side!  We are chosen by HIM to do HIS work here on earth.

Perhaps we are not sure what our work here is supposed to be.  Then let us listen to GOD and HE will show us the way and equip us fully to do whatever it is HE desires of us.

We can hear GOD talking when we read HIS word.  We can listen to GOd when we pray and HE will give us very clear signs.

Today let us draw close to our GOD and listen for HIS word and hear what HE wants for our lives.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU that YOU have chosen me to be here on earth and to do YOUR will.  FATHER show me where I can serve YOU and show me how to listen to YOUR voice.  I pray this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

I will praise YOU oh LORD!

GOD is our creator.  HE made us and "knit us together in our mothers' wombs".  We are fearfully and wonderfully made!  

GOD has a plan for us and we do not have to worry about our purpose in life.  We need to give everything to GOD in prayer and to know and accept HIS will. We need to accept that Jesus Christ is our Lord and our Saviour.  

Therefore today let us praise our CREATOR our GOD.  Our FATHER in Heaven.  Let us worship HIS Holy Name. 

Let us say together the LORD's Prayer:

Prayer:            Our FATHER, who art in Heaven.  
                           Hallowed be THY Name.  
                           THY Kingdom come.  
                           THY will be done, on earth, as it is in Heaven.  
                           Give us this day our daily bread.
                           Forgive us our tresspasses as we forgive those who tresspass 
                           against us.
                           Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
                           For THINE is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory,
                           Forever and ever.   Amen.

Let us now contemplate this prayer and consider each part of it and ask GOD to fulfill it in our lives and to give us HIS grace.  

FATHER I pray for each and every person reading this prayer to be richly blessed.  I humbly ask this in the name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Stay gloriously GOD blessed today.  

GOD'S plan prevails!

As we go about living our lives, we plan what we are going to do, where we are going to live and how we are going to live.  We tend to forget that GOD made us and HE made us for a purpose.  Only HE knows what HIS plan for our lives is. 

Therefore, before we plan, we need to pray about everything.  We need to consult our CREATOR and implore HIM to help us.  We need to ask HIM to guide us.  HE will show us the right path. 

If we continually have setbacks and there appear to be roadblocks, we are on the wrong path.  We need to go back to GOD and ask HIM to help us and put us on the right path.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER GOD, today I pray that YOU will show me the way.  I pray that I rather fit into YOUR plan for my life than try to fit YOU into my plan for my life.  FATHER I ask that YOU guide me and help me.  I pray all of this in the HOLY name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD delights in you!

GOD delights in us.  HE made us! Each and every one of us is absolutely unique.  We are made in the image of GOD.

This verse reminds us that we are well loved by our FATHER in Heaven and HE rejoices in us.

Today let us cherish the love that GOD has for us and let us praise and worship our powerful GOD.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU that I am unique and that YOU love me.  FATHER I worship YOUR Name and I humbly ask that YOU bless me richly today.  I pray that YOU would forgive my sins as I forgive all those who have sinned against me.  I humbly pray this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Trust GOD always!

Our GOD is faithful.  Our GOD is gracious, but most of all our GOD is completely and utterly trustworthy. 

We can never ever be as trustworthy as GOD no matter how hard we try.  We can never find true peace without GOD in our lives.

Our GOD is omnipresent, (widely or constantly encountered; widespread.) omniscient (knowing everything)  and omnipotent ((of a deity) having unlimited power.).   Please note the last adjective is used ONLY for deities or more specifically as a Christian for our GOD only.

We can lean on GOD and we can depend on GOD and we can trust GOD to be there for us in every single instance.  We are never alone with an awesome GOD like our FATHER in Heaven.

Today let us celebrate and praise our mighty GOD who loves each one of us and who saves us and who forgives us despite our shortcomings. Let us run to our GOD for protection and for peace. 

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, thank YOU that YOU are always there for me and that YOU are my refuge and my strength.  Without YOU I am nothing but with YOU I can find strength to carry on and live my life in YOU knowing that I am YOUR creation.

FATHER today, I humbly ask that YOU bless me and forgive my sins as I forgive all those who sin against me.  I pray today FATHER that YOU bless all those reading this devotional and take them to YOUR special place of peace that transcends all understanding.  I humbly pray this in the Holy Name of my Redeemer, my Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The way to GOD!

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16.  

This is an eternal truth.  There is only one way to get to our FATHER GOD, and that is through believing in the fact that Jesus Christ is the Son of our GOD.  That Jesus came to earth and lived here and died for us on the cross.  Jesus is seated at the right hand of GOD our FATHER and He will judge us. 

However the news is good.  When we believe this, we are saved through the grace of GOD our FATHER.  We can have life eternal with GOD and Jesus.  What we need to do is accept this grace.

This grace is given when we accept the truth and when we repent of our sins and forgive those who sin against us.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER today I accept Jesus Christ as my Redeemer.  I humbly ask that YOU pour out the Holy Spirit into me.  I forgive all those who sin against me and I ask FATHER that YOU forgive my sins.

I pray all of this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, my Redeemer, Jesus Christ.

Our help comes from GOD!

When we are in trouble, we need to remember that GOD is our CREATOR.  HE can do anything and we need to lift our eyes and call upon our FATHER in Heaven when we need help.

GOD knows what we need even before we need it and HE can perform miracles even today.  So let us start putting our faith into practise and calling upon GOD - our wonderful FATHER.  Let us believe that we have received the help we are asking for and it will be given unto us.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I call upon YOU tonight.  YOU know what I need even before I need it.  Please help YOUR servant tonight and this week. I know that YOU hear my prayers FATHER and that with YOU nothing is impossible.

I humbly pray this in the Holy Name of my Lord and my Redeemer, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay faithfully GOD blessed today!

GOD is our help!

Our GOD is our help.  HE is the maker of the heaven and the earth.  HE sits upon HIS throne and he is our CREATOR.

Without GOD we are nothing. We can strive and strive and achieve wealth and fame.  And then we die and we are nothing.

However, our CREATOR has given us, through HIS enormous grace, the chance to redeem ourselves of our sins on earth.  We need to believe in HIM and HIS Son, Jesus Christ.  We need to have the faith that GOD sent HIS Son to die for our sins and to rise from the dead.  We need to have faith that our Redeemer, Jesus Christ, sits at the right hand of GOD our FATHER in Heaven.  Jesus will judge us and then we can join Him in Heaven.

So today let us not procrastinate.  Let us fall down and pray to GOD earnestly to forgive our sins and let us forgive all those who have sinned against us.  Let us take Jesus Christ as our Saviour today!

GOD is seated on HIS holy throne!

GOD is seated on HIS holy throne!  GOD is our KING!

Let us right size our GOD.  Our GOD is not a mortal man.  HE cannot be shaken or moved.  HE does not change HIS mind.  HE does not waiver in HIS might.  HE does not ever back track.

This is the amazing GOD we serve!  HE is a constant in a world that is so volatile.  HE is not subject to time or age or ravages of nature.  HE is our CREATOR!  And HE loves each one of us unconditionally.  How enormously blessed we are!

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU today for YOUR unfailing love.  I thank YOU that YOU are always the same and that YOU are gracious.  Forgive my sins today as I forgive all those who have sinned against me.

Today FATHER I pray for YOUR grace and mercy.  I thank YOU FATHER for all the blessings YOU shower on me.  I pray all of this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD our King!

After GOD had created Adam and Eve, HE saw that the people started becoming really sinful.  HE then caused the great flooding over all the earth and the people, all except for Noah and his family were killed.

Then along came the birth of the Israelites and again they started sinning.  So GOD gave them kings to rule over them.

Today we pride ourselves on living in a Western society and we claim to have democracy and we are no longer ruled by kings.

However, we should never forget that GOD is the Creator of all the earth and the heavens.  
Without GOD we would never have come into being at all.  

We are all sinners, (born in sin), but GOD sent HIS Son Jesus Christ as a living sacrifice to take away the sins of the world. We need to have faith in this truth, and we need to believe that GOD reigns supreme and that HIS will will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. 

Therefore today, let us proclaim loudly that GOD is our King and that HE is mighty and awesome and that HE rules over our lives.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU that YOU are KING over all the earth and that YOU rule the Heavens above.  I thank YOU today for the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ.  I thank YOU that I can ask YOU today to forgive my sins as I forgive all those who sin against me.  

I pray this in the Holy Name of my Redeemer, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Psalm 121.

This is one of my favourite Psalms

I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
    where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
    the Maker of heaven and earth.

3 He will not let your foot slip—
    he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
    will neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The Lord watches over you—
    the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
6 the sun will not harm you by day,
    nor the moon by night.

7 The Lord will keep you from all harm—
    he will watch over your life;
8 the Lord will watch over your coming and going
    both now and forevermore.

This Psalm is self explanatory and it needs no further additions.  Suffice to say it is where I go to in times of trouble and when I am grateful to GOD.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU that YOU gave the Psalmist this to write down.  I thank YOU that YOU watch over my coming and my going.  I than YOU for the gift of my life and that of my family and friends.  I pray all of this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen!

GOD is goodness and mercy!

GOD loves each one of us and he promises us to always be with us.  All we have to do is accept HIS grace and HIS mercy.  We have to have faith and we have to know that Jesus Christ is our Saviour.

Then we are guaranteed a permanent relationship with GOD.  So today let us draw close to this magnificent GOD of ours.  Let us ask for forgiveness of our sins.  Let us forgive all those who sin against us.  Let us accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour.  Let us ask for the Holy Spirit to come and dwell in us and convict us in our faith.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU for the grace and mercy that YOU give me through YOUR unending love for me.  I pray today that YOU forgive my sins as I forgive all those who sin against me.  I pray that the Holy Spirit comes to live in me and convicts me in my faith to do good works and to bear fruit in YOUR Holy Name.  I pray all of this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.   Amen.

Stay graciously GOD blessed today. 

GOD, our refuge and our strength!

"GOD is our refuge and strength.  Our ever present help in times of trouble."   How wonderful is this!

We have an ever present help in times of trouble!  In other words, we are never alone, no matter what our situation is.  We always have GOD.  We can talk to HIM and HE is there listening.  HE is our rock and HE is our salvation.

HE has also given us two enormous blessings through HIS grace.  Jesus Christ, our Redeemer, and the Holy Spirit who lives in us when we accept Jesus as our Saviour.

So we are always in excellent company.  We are never alone.  We can always lean on GOD and the Holy Spirit will always guide us.  

Prayer: ABBA FATHER GOD.  YOU indeed are my rock on whom I depend.  YOU are always there listening to me and my prayers.  Today FATHER I pray that I can lean on YOU and that YOU will shield me and be my fortress.  I humbly pray this in the Holy Name of my Lord and my Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The LORD loves us!

GOD loves us with everlasting love!  HE wants a relationship with each one of us on a one to one basis.  HE has drawn us, each one of us, with unfailing kindness!

What an awesome GOD we serve.  Let us take time today to go down on our knees and thank this wonderful CREATOR of ours and bow down to HIS majesty.

Let us consider that we are made in the image of GOD himself, and that GOD created us exactly as HE wanted us to be!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that I am fearfully and wonderfully made.  I thank YOU that YOU knitted me in my mother's womb.  I thank YOU that YOU made me with everlasting love.  Let me today serve YOU FATHER, and thank YOU and bow down to YOUR grace.

I pray all of this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay lovingly GOD blessed today!

GOD will make known to us the path of life!

If we pray to GOD and form a deep and meaningful relationship with GOD then HE will make known to us the path of life.  This does not mean that HE will show us the future or that we will not have trials and tribulations.

What it does mean though, is that we will KNOW that GOD is always with us.  No matter what happens to us.  We will have joy in knowing that we are never alone.  

Therefore today let us share our lives with our CREATOR GOD.  Let us pray to HIM and talk to HIM and read HIS word.  Let us share all our joys and not just our sorrows with HIM.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU that I can be in YOUR presence always.  I thank YOU that YOU are listening to this prayer right now.  I thank YOU for YOUR enormous grace and for loving me always. 
FATHER today, I want a close and loving relationship with YOU.  I thank YOU for the joy that YOU bring in my life.  I thank YOU that YOU are always there in my times of trouble.

Rejoice in the LORD!

In his letter to the Philippians, Paul tells the Philippians to rejoice in the LORD always.  The reason for this is that GOD is to be praised ALWAYS.

It is not just on a Sunday in Church that we need to praise GOD.  We need to praise GOD each and every day and about each and every thing of wonder and beauty that we see around ourselves.

A good way to start this is to watch a sunrise or a sunset or simply to walk out in the evenings and look up at the stars.  When we are doing this we can praise the wonder and glory and the majesty of our FATHER in Heaven who made it all and who made us in HIS own image.  So today we praise GOD.!

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU that I can praise YOU.  I thank YOU for the beauty all around me.  I thank YOU for YOUR creation, the earth, the heavens and for me and my family and my friends.  All glory and praise to YOU, ABBA FATHER.

I pray all of this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Grow our faith in GOD!

Without the word of GOD we cannot grow our faith.  Our faith in GOD comes about when we read GOD's word and then put into practise what we learn.

The more we read GOD's word, the more we recognise when GOD speaks to us through HIS word.  Thus in Romans, Paul says that "Faith comes through hearing and  hearing by the word of GOD".

Today let us make conscious decisions to "hear GOD in order to grow our faith".  We can do this by reading GOD's word, by reading daily devotionals, by speaking to Christian people and through sharing the word with people who have no faith. And most of all we can talk to GOD through prayer.  HE is always listening.  He just wants us to hear HIM talk to us today.

let us become "practising Christians' today.  Let us practise our faith in GOD.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU that I can grow my faith.  I thank YOU that I can talk to YOU in prayer.  Today I pray with all those who read this devotional that YOU talk to them in a way that they "hear" YOU.  I pray all of this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD commands us to be strong and courageous!

GOD is with us no matter where we are or where we are going.  We cannot leave GOD behind.  We can think that we are alone, but this is not so.  Our FATHER in Heaven is with us everywhere.

What a magnificent thought.  We are never alone and we can always lean on our GOD.  Our GOD can do anything, therefore we are commanded to be strong and courageous because we have GOD on our side.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, what an awesome, magnificent FATHER YOU are to me.  I thank YOU that I am never ever alone and that YOU are always with me.  I thank YOU that I can lean on YOU today for everything.  I pray FATHER that I never forget that I do not have to be afraid of anything because YOU are there for me.  

FATHER forgive my sins today as I forgive all those who have sinned against me.  I pray today FATHER that YOU will give me all that I need in the week ahead.  I pray all of this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay courageously GOD blessed today. 

GOD will meet all our needs!

When we consider our needs, we need to be mindful that what we think we need is indeed what we need.  We also need to bear in mind that our GOD is loving, giving, gracious, forgiving and most of all HE is our CREATOR FATHER.

A father knows what his children need.  And usually a diligent father gives his children what they need without spoiling them and with the plan in mind to bring up good solid people of character who can go out into the world and make their own way.

So it is with GOD.  We are all given free will to do exactly as we please, regardless of what we should be doing.  Therefore when we pray to GOD we need to bear in mind that GOD will give us what is good for us and what is in line with HIS plan for our lives.  Also HE asks that we accept the enormous sacrifice HE made for us in sending HIS Son to die for us. 

So GOD has given judgement over to Jesus.  No one is going to the FATHER except through Jesus.  That is well documented and we are not going to go into depth about that here. 

Suffice to say that when we ask GOD to give us what we think we need and those prayers are unanswered, perhaps the reason is that GOD does not want us to have that and HE knows much better what we need than ourselves!

Prayer: ABBA FATHER, thank YOU for YOUR enormous grace.  FATHER where I ask for things and YOU know that I should not be granted those things, please forgive me.  I trust in YOU FATHER.  I know that YOU know me better than I know myself.  I pray today, FATHER that you forgive me my sins as I forgive those who sin against me.  I pray all of this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, my Redeemer, Jesus Christ.  Amen. 

Stay graciously GOD blessed today.  

Expect the Lord!

"We are to wait for the LORD."  What exactly does this mean?  Well some would say it means we should wait for the second coming of Jesus.  However, this verse was written by the Psalmist King David and in this time, we need to remember that King David had all manner of enemies who wanted to attack him personally and who wanted to take away his kingdom.

What I believe he is telling us here is that we need to go about our daily work with strength and in the conviction that GOD is on our side always.  Therefore we need to take courage and wait for GOD to show us the way.  It does not mean that we should sit down and do nothing.  Rather it means that before we do anything we should pray about it and do it in the firm belief that GOD will show us the way and knowing that our ALMIGHTY GOD is on our side. 

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU that I know that if I pray to YOU, YOU always hear my prayers.  FATHER be with me today in everything that I do. Thank YOU for being on my side and for being with me today.

I humbly pray this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay firmly convicted that we are blessed by GOD.  

My light and my Salvation!

GOD is truly our light our and salvation.  Without HIM in our lives, without HIS light and without HIS salvation our lives on this earth are completely meaningless.

When the Psalmist, King David, wrote this Psalm, he asked the question.  "If GOD is for us, who can be against us?"

Let us dwell on this powerful thought today.  Let us consider how much we really need GOD in our lives.  Let us consider all that GOD has given us and done for us.

GOD sent HIS only Son Jesus Christ to take up our sins onto His cross and to die for us.  Each and every one of us.  We are all loved.  There are no exceptions.

Let us turn to our CREATOR today and beg for the forgiveness of our sins and then let us forgive all those who have sinned against us.  

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU for YOUR grace and for always being there for me.  I pray today for each and every person reading this prayer that YOU give them YOUR peace and YOUR unending blessings.

I pray all of this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, my Redeemer, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD will sustain you!

The Psalmist says, "Cast all your cares on the LORD, and HE will sustain you."

The Psalmist does not say the LORD "may" sustain you.  He says the LORD "will" sustain you. 

There is no maybe or ifs or buts about this statement.  And it is true. GOD will never let the righteous be shaken.

If we go back to the story of Job, we can be tested, we can be tried, but GOD will sustain us.  We need to have the faith to know and to recognise that GOD loves each one of us.  HIS way is straight and true.  HIS way leads to eternal life and to Heaven.  

So what we need to do is to give everything over to GOD.  No matter how small or trivial it may seem, take it to GOD and ask GOD to guide us and HE will sustain us.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU for your ever present love and your ever present strength in my life.  I thank YOU that I can cast all my burdens on YOU and know without a shadow of doubt that I am safe in YOUR hands.

I humbly ask FATHER today that as I cast all my cares and troubles on YOU that YOU sustain me.  I ask all this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, Amen.
