We need to give all the glory to GOD our FATHER in Heaven. Whenever people say thank you to us, we need to remember that we have nothing to give. We only have to give what we have received from our FATHER.
That is why we need to remember that each and every time we have something to give someone else, it came from GOD in the first instance.
Gratitude is something that is so sadly lacking in modern day society. People seem to want the glory for themselves and they want to shine the spotlight on their own achievements.
As children of the living GOD, let us be far more mindful to always praise GOD and to give HIM all the glory!
Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, today I praise YOUR Holy Name and I thank YOU FATHER for all that I am. I thank YOU for all that I have and I thank YOU for YOUR enormous grace in giving me life eternal through Jesus Christ, my Lord and Saviour.
I pray all of this in the Holy Name of my Redeemer, Jesus Christ. Amen.
Stay thankfully GOD blessed today.
