In the love of GOD!

What a magnificent salutation this is.  Jude asking that the reader keep themselves in the love of GOD.  Our GOD, being the enormous awesome CREATOR FATHER that HE is, has love in abundance.  And Jude asks the reader to keep themselves in the love of GOD.  And to do this whilst looking for mercy of Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

This is absolutely breathtaking in its beauty and simplicity.  And if we think about this and dwell on this and meditate on this, we can see the splendour of GOD in this verse.  Our GOD never ceases to stun me with HIS grace!

It is truly an amazing thought to end the day on.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU for Bible where we can read such simple beautiful words that can only come from YOU and through the people that YOU inspired to write them. FATHER tonight I pray that all reading this will keep themselves in YOUR great love whilst seeking the mercy of Jesus Christ until eternal life.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ, my Redeemer.  Amen.

Live in peace!

What GOD wants for us all is to live in peace.  This is HIS desire.  But our lives are full of turmoil and there is unrest all over the world.

Why is that?  The simple answer is - we have been given free will by our AWESOME FATHER in Heaven.  This is HIS gift to us.  To live as we wish.  

If we know GOD then we know that HE has given us the rules to make a peaceful life possible.  If we all obeyed all the commandments all the time, the constant suffering and strife would cease immediately.

So, today, as children of GOD, let us live our lives according to the purpose that GOD has for each one of us.  Let us put GOD first, and let us put GOD last.  Let us put GOD into every single aspect of our lives and let us let GOD work in and through us.

Prayer;  ABBA FATHER, today I thank YOU for YOUR peace which transcends all understanding.  I thank YOU for today and for all that YOU have done for me and for all that YOU have given me.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Let us bring our thoughts into captivity to the obedience of Christ!

This is so powerful.  It is worth reading and then re-reading.

And meditating on this.  It is so succinctly put.  We need to be mighty in GOD, mighty in the knowledge of our FATHER in Heaven.

This can only be achieved through a living, working relationship with our FATHER in Heaven.  We therefore, need to talk to GOD about everything.  We need to talk to GOD all day.  We need to read HIS word.  And we need to pray to HIM constantly and tell HIM our deepest innermost thoughts.  And we know that GOD knows all of this.  But HE wants to know that we are coming to HIM and relating to HIM.  

It is then that we are able to recognise those things and those people who exaclt themselves against the knowledge of our FATHER.'

Prayer;  ABBA FATHER, today I thank YOU that I can bring my thoughts into captivity to the obedience of Christ through YOU.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The Peace of GOD!

We are not to be anxious about anything, but in every situation, we are instructed to pray.

And the good news is that when we pray to GOD, with gratitude and acknowledging the enormous grace of GOD, we are told that we may present our requests to GOD.

So that is what we need to do.  Come to our ABBA FATHER with an attitude of gratitude.  Then with thanksgiving, present our requests.  And the outcome will be - a peace which will transcend all understanding.  And this peace of GOD will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

What an awesome GOD we serve!

Prayer;  Heavenly FATHER, tonight I come to YOU to thank YOU.  I thank YOU for who I am, for what I have, for my family, for my friends, for Jesus Christ in my life.  I thank YOU for the home that I live in, for the food that I eat, for the clothes that I wear.  I thank YOU FATHER for everything.  I thank YOU for the world that YOU have given me to live in.  

FATHER, tonight I ask that YOU remove any anxieties from me and may the peace that comes from YOU alone guard my heart and my mind, in Jesus Christ.  Amen.

An attitude of gratitude.  That is how I come to my FATHER in Heaven tonight.  I want you all to know the love that GOD has for each one of us.  Stop and draw a deep breath and know that our FATHER is with us.  HE cares for each of us and HE wants a living, meaningful relationship with us.

Therefore let us be still and know that GOD is with us.  GOD is listening to us and GOD is wanting us to spend eternity with HIM.  HE wants to bless each one of us and HE wants us to be at peace, knowing that we are HIS children.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU and I thank YOU and I thank YOU for YOUR peace which transcends all understanding.  I thank YOU that I can love YOU freely and I thank YOU that YOU turn YOUR face to me.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Jesus will come when we do not expect Him!

We must be ready to receive Jesus coming back to the earth when we do not expect Him.  Therefore today, let us resolve to be ready at any time.

Let us accept Jesus as the way, the truth and the life.  Let us believe that Jesus is our risen Saviour, who conquered death so that we can have the grace of GOD and spend eternity in the presence of our ABBA FATHER. 

Let us do the things that Jesus would want us to do.  Let us behave the way Jesus would want us to behave.  And lastly, let us spread the good news that all can be saved if they will just open their hearts and accept Jesus.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, today I thank YOU for YOUR enormous grace and Favour.  I thank YOU in the Holy name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and my Redeemer.  Amen.

End of Times?

Are we indeed living in the end of times?  And if you believe that we are, are you ready to face GOD and Jesus?

These are very important questions that we need to ask ourselves.  And the most important thing to ask ourselves is the second one.  

If not, then it is time to accept Jesus as our Lord and our Saviour.  Time to put our faith in the grace of our FATHER in Heaven.  Time to go down on our knees and to ask GOD to forgive our sins and to forgive those who sin against us.  Time to confess that Jesus is indeed our Redeemer and time to believe that Jesus is who the Bible says that He is.

Prayer;  ABBA FATHER, tonight we cry out to YOU.  FATHER we confess our sins to you and beg that YOU would graciously forgive us.  We forgive all those who sin against us.  FATHER we accept that Jesus is our Lord and Saviour and that Jesus is the only way to YOU.  We confess all of this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Jesus our Intercessor!

Jesus is our Lord and our Saviour.  And through His sacrifice on the cross, He paid for our sins.  And if we do the A B C's of Christianity, Admit that we are sinners, Believe that Jesus is the Christ and that He died to save us from our sins, Confess with our mouths that believe in the Grace of GOD, then nothing can separate us from the love of GOD. 

It is so simple.  And we have to do nothing except that ABC's.  We are no longer judged as sinners, but are made right with GOD through the intercession of our Lord, Jesus Christ. 

Today let us know that GOD loves us.  We can do nothing ourselves to save our eternal souls from condemnation, except accept Jesus.  And GOD has done all the work for us.  HE sent the most precious possession that HE had, HIS only begotten Son Jesus Christ to live on earth.  To live a blameless, sinless life and yet He was crucified on the cross.  Thus taking all our sins to the shameful cross.  Along with people who were criminals, He died for us.

And Jesus is in Heaven, having gone to prepare a place for us.  And He constantly intercedes with GOD on our behalf.  Each and every time we sin, and we are convicted of our sins, Jesus is in Heaven and interceding with GOD on our behalf.

What a friend we have in Jesus. 

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, thank YOU, thank YOU and thank YOU today for YOUR grace and favour.  I pray this in the Holy Name of my Intercessor, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The Grace of the Lord Jesus!

Jesus Christ is gracious and faithful.  He is gracious and faithful to all who will call on His Name and be saved.

To that end, our Lord Jesus came to this earth to act as a scapegoat for each one of us.  He lived a blameless, sinless life on earth.  No where is it recorded anywhere that Jesus acted sinfully.

Instead, He died on a cross for us and our sins.  And in the final part of Revelations, we are told that the grace of the Lord Jesus is with GOD's people.

How marvellous to know that as children of GOD, we have the grace of the Lord Jesus with us on earth.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, tonight I thank YOU for YOUR grace and favour.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The Alpha and the Omega!

In this verse of Revelations which are related by John, GOD tells us categorically that not only is HE the beginning, but HE is the end.  And that HE is coming again.

This is the revelation of the Rapture foretelling us that Jesus will come again.  And as GOD always keeps HIS promises, we can be absolutely sure that Jesus is coming back to this earth.  

In the light of this, it is wise to watch and wait whilst reading the Word of GOD and listening to GOD speaking to us.  And GOD is speaking to us each and every day.  Whether we are listening or not.

Prayer;  ABBA FATHER, my Alpha and my Omega, who was and is to come.  I thank YOU that I can know that YOU are faithful and that YOU always keep YOUR promises.  I thank YOU that I know that Jesus is coming and we will see Him in the clouds and we can meet Him in the clouds.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  My Redeemer and my Saviour.  Amen.

Stay resolutely GOD blessed today!

GOD will keep all HIS promises!

Whatever GOD has promised, so GOD will do.

We are all GOD's children.  Whether we accept this fact or not.  And GOD loves each and every one of us and HE wants a relationship with us all.

So today let us read the Word of GOD and know that GOD will keep all HIS promises to each one of us.  We retain our free will to accept GOD or to reject HIM.

If we choose to accept GOD then we need to accept Jesus as our Lord and our Saviour.  We need to confess with our mouths that we believe that Jesus is the Redeemer.  We need to admit that we are sinners and we need to ask GOD to fill us with HIS Holy Spirit.

Prayer;  Heavenly FATHER, I love YOU and I know that YOU will keep all the promises YOU have made in YOUR word, the Bible.  I accept Jesus as my Redeemer and I admit that I am a sinner.  Forgive my sins as I forgive those who sin against me.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The LORD is our Shepherd!

Whenever we think about the LORD being our shepherd, we think about Psalm 23.  However, Ezekiel also received this same message from GOD.

GOD is our Shepherd and HE will give us rest.  HE sent HIS Son to be our Shepherd.  And so we need never feel alone.  We need never feel afraid.  With a Shepherd like Jesus, we are in the very best care.

Prayer;  ABBA FATHER, thank YOU that YOU care for me.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

I will show my Holiness!

We are definitely seeing signs of the end of times.  The whole world seems to have turned on its head.

All of a sudden we had COVID and every country in the world was shut down.   We have rioting in many countries.  But we are promised by GOD that this will happen.  If you have read HIS word, you know that all of this must happen before the Messiah will return to fetch His followers.

And if you want to be one of those who know for certain that Jesus is coming to fetch you, then it is time to accept Jesus our your Lord and your Saviour.  

You need to confess with your mouth that Jesus is the Son of GOD.  Jesus lived on earth as a man.  Jesus died on a cross so that He could take the punishment for the sins of all people on earth.  And Jesus conquered death so that those who call on His Name can overcome the grave and have the grace of GOD.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, tonight I pray for all the people of the world to come to accept Jesus as YOUR Son and our Saviour.  I pray that they will confess with their mouths and believe in their hearts that Jesus is our Redeemer. I pray that they will beg YOU to forgive their sins as I pray that YOU will forgive my sins FATHER.  I forgive all those who sin against me.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

A new heart for GOD!

When we accept GOD and Jesus, we are filled with the Holy Spirit.  And the Holy Spirit gives us a new heart to replace our old stubborn heart.  The heart that we get is tender and responsive both to our FATHER in Heaven, HIS Son Jesus Christ and also to people of the world.

Suddenly we start to see ourselves as GOD sees us.  And we know that we are sinners and fall hopelessly short of the glory of GOD.  We can never redeem ourselves by our own actions.

The new heart in us tells us this.  But the new heart also tells us about the enormity of the Grace of GOD, given freely to all who will but admit they are sinners.  Who will accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and our Saviour and believe in HIM who sent Jesus to save us from our sinful lives.

Today, let us make a decision, if we have not done so, to accept Jesus as the light of our lives.  And let us ask GOD to give us a new heart, tender and responsive.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I love YOU and I accept Jesus as my Lord and my Saviour.  Forgive my sins, FATHER, as I forgive those who sin against me.  I pray that YOU will give me a new heart, tender and responsive.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD's promises!

GOD keeps all HIS promises.  HIS ways, we simply cannot fathom.  Therefore we should know that Jesus is coming back in the clouds to fetch those that believe in HIM.

If we do not believe in Jesus, the simple truth is that we are not going.  So today, I would implore you, if you do not believe in Jesus, then the time is here for you to consider where you wish to spend eternity.

Because eternal life is a fact.  It is where you spend it that is entirely your choice.  

GOD sent HIS Son Jesus Christ to die for us on a cross and to conquer death so that we can have our eternal life in Heaven.

We need to have the faith that GOD always keeps HIS promises and I am really sure that Jesus will come back to earth to fetch those in HIM.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I love YOU and I know that Jesus is my Redeemer.  My prayer tonight is that all those in doubt tonight are filled with YOUR Holy Spirit and accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

No other gods!

We need to have no other gods before our FATHER in Heaven.  This is a firm instruction from GOD.  

We always assume that other gods are false idols.  But other gods may include things like our cars, our houses, our possessions.  Even our friends and our family.

We are called on to love our FATHER above everything else.  And this is not a suggestion from GOD, it is a firm instruction.  So we need to examine our lives and ask ourselves.  Do we choose GOD above everything else in our lives.  Money, possessions, friends and family.  And the answer needs to be yes. 

GOD must come first in our lives and GOD must come last.  There can be no other.

Today let us arise and worship GOD first and tonight as we lay ourselves down to sleep, let us worship GOD.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that YOU are my Alpha and my Omega.  YOU are my going out and my coming in.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

New every morning!

Each day that we have on earth is a blessing and gift from GOD.  And each day we are given the opportunity to accept the grace of GOD and to accept the mercy of GOD by accepting Jesus Christ as HIS Son and our Saviour.

Let us contemplate this tonight as we go to rest.  And let us wake up in the morning, in the knowledge that the new day brings the grace of mercy and GOD again and again.

And if we do not wake up in the morning, let us, tonight before we sleep, talk to our FATHER in Heaven.  Let us tell HIM how much we love HIM.  Let us thank HIM for HIS mercy and grace received today.  

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU for YOUR mercy and grace.  I thank YOU for my Redeemer, Jesus Christ.  Guard my life tonight as I rest and if I am blessed with another day, let me wake up, knowing that YOUR mercy and grace are with me.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD cares for each one of us!

Stop and consider this verse and what it actually means to each one of us.  GOD cares for us.  And therefore we are able to cast all our anxieties on HIM.

Where in the world can you find anyone who says to you, I will bear your troubles and your anxieties?  And yet this is exactly what GOD calls on us to do.  Why is this?

The answer is so simple.  GOD made each one of us.  None of us, indeed, nothing on earth has life except that GOD has given it.  Therefore as children of GOD, when we accept Jesus as our Lord and our Saviour, we become co-heirs with Jesus in the love of the living CREATOR FATHER GOD.

So today, stop and consider all the things that are bothering you and troubling you and worrying you and say to GOD.  "FATHER I hand all of this over to YOU".

You will be astounded at the peace that will transcend upon you and will be completely beyond your understanding.   After all, nothing is impossible for our FATHER who created the entire universe and all that is in it.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that YOU are able to deal with all my cares and my worries.  I give all them over to YOU FATHER.  I thank YOU that I am able to do this in the Holy Name of my Redeemer, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The light of the world!

Jesus is the light of the world.  When we let Jesus into our lives, we let the light in.  The light shines on the darkness and diminishes it.

So when we walk in the light of Jesus, our darkest places are lightened.  The world becomes a lighter, brighter place the more we walk with Jesus.

Where there is light, there can no longer be darkness.  

Today, if you have not done so, choose to walk in the light with Jesus.  

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that I have Jesus in my life.  Jesus is my Redeemer and my Lord.  I humbly ask that YOU forgive all my sins and convict me whenever I sin.  I ask this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD's timing is perfect!

We need to trust GOD to know what is best for us.  We need to pray about everything we think.  We need to pray about everything we do.  We need to pray about everything we say.

And then we need to wait for GOD to answer us and for HIM to reveal HIS perfect plan.  

Problems arise when we rush forward without waiting on GOD.

Today, let us take a deep breath and sit back and consider what GOD wants for our lives.  Where HE wants us to be and what HE wants us to do. 

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that I have YOU to listen to my prayers.  YOUR plans are so much better than mine.  FATHER I implore me to show me where YOU want me to be and what YOU want me to do.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Redemption!

When we accept Jesus, we know that through our faith in Him, He has redeemed our sins.  That is to say, Jesus has paid the price for us.  We are no longer going to have to atone for those sins.

Can we go on sinning then?  No definitely not!  The Holy Spirit will indwell us when we accept Jesus as our Lord and our Saviour.  And each and every time we sin, we will not only know it, but it will worry us enough to ask GOD to forgive us.

Does this mean we will stop sinning.  No!  We are born to sin and we will sin.  But, being convicted by the Holy Spirit, we should be led to be humble, kind, gentle, loving and most of all, forgiving people.  Looking to do good rather than evil.

So today, if you have not accepted Jesus, do so.  Accept and believe in your heart that Jesus is your Redeemer.  That He died on a cross to save you from eternal damnation.  That He is your Lord and your Saviour.  Ask GOD to forgive your sins and ask GOD to fill you with the Holy Spirit.  

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that I know Jesus is my Lord and my Saviour.  FATHER fill me up with the Holy Spirit.  FATHER forgive my sins as I forgive those who sin against me.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Do not be deceived!

GOD cannot be mocked!  This is a strong statement and we should all take this to heart.  GOD reads our hearts.  GOD knows what we are thinking.  GOD looks at our intentions when we do everything.  So let us be very careful and pray to GOD first about every single thing that we do.

Today, let us reflect on our lives.  Let us reflect on our plans going forward.  And let us turn to GOD and ask HIM to guide not only our plans, but far more importantly, our hearts and our minds.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that YOU are my FATHER.  FATHER help me to plan my life with YOU first.  Help me to guide not only my thoughts, but my actions and my heart.  Help me to be more like Jesus each and every day.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Saved by Grace!

Can you imagine the love that our FATHER has for each one of us?  It is impossible that we can love anything or anyone as much as our FATHER loves us.

For our FATHER does not ask anything of us except to have the belief that Jesus is HIS Son who came to earth, to live on earth, to die on a cross for our sins.  Jesus died in the place of us.  So, no matter how badly we have sinned, GOD forgives us when we accept Jesus as our Lord and our Saviour.

This is awesome and mind blowing at the same time.

No good deeds, nothing can save us except the complete faith in Jesus as our Lord and our Saviour.  

Therefore, today take Jesus as your Saviour.  Ask GOD to forgive your sins and you are saved.

That is indeed the good news!!!

Jesus is knocking!

Jesus is knocking at our doors.  And He wants us to open the door and to let Him in. 

This is a choice that we are free to make.  We can accept Jesus or we can reject Him.  We have the freewill that GOD has given each one of us.

I know that Jesus wants to come and live with us and He wants us to come and live in Him.  But again, the emphasis is on freewill.  We can choose.

Today let us choose to have Jesus come in.  Let us give our lives to Him.  Not only will we have an inner peace that is unexplainable, but you will also come to realize what a friend you have in Jesus.

Prayer;  FATHER I have chosen to let You in to my life.  I now have an inner peace that I know I would not have without YOU.  So today FATHER I come to YOU knowing that Jesus lives in me and I in Him.  I thank YOU for YOUR grace and favour.  I thank YOU in the name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

In the Beginning!

Our Creator FATHER, our awesome GOD created everything we know.  The entire universe, the earth, our solar system and then finally - us!

And the good news is that we are created in the image of GOD.  In other words, we are what GOD wants us to be.  Each one unique.  Each one beautiful in the eyes of our Creator.  And most of all, each one of us is loved.  Whether we know it or not.  And then the good news!

GOD wants a relationship with you and with me.  HE gave each one of us free will to do exactly what we want.  To believe what we want.  And to know HIM if we want.

The time on this earth is running out.  We know that.  There are earthquakes, rumours of wars and brother fights with brother.  Troubles abound.  We are in the end of times.

Please do not delay.  Accept Jesus Christ, the Son of our FATHER today.  Take Jesus as your Lord and your Saviour.  Confess with your mouths.  Believe in your hearts and then finally ask GOD to fill you with HIS Holy Spirit.  This last act will convict you of your sins and you can then ask GOD to forgive you.

Prayer;  ABBA FATHER, tonight I cry out to YOU.  Help the people on earth to know YOU and Jesus and the Holy Spirit.  Help the people to confess that Jesus is the way the truth and the life.  Show them that He is the light of world and that no one will get to YOU except through Him.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  My Lord and my Redeemer who lives in me and I in Him.  Amen.

Our GOD is everlasting!

Our GOD will never grow weary or faint.  HIS understanding is unsearchable.

Today with google, we really believe that we have access to all knowledge.  And it makes us lazy to remember things when we can just google the answers to any question. 

However, we should remember that nothing on this earth is unknown to GOD.  Our brains are still beyond the reach of scientists.  They are only beginning to understand the thousands and thousands of tiny particles and atoms that make up the human brain.

Yet our GOD created us.  HE created the earth, the sun, the moon, the stars.  And HE can hold the universe in the palm of HIS hand.

So let us right size our CREATOR FATHER today and let us fall down before HIS majesty and glory and let us worship HIM for all that HE is and all that HE created.

ABBA FATHER, today I bow down and worship YOUR majesty and YOUR glory.  FATHER I love YOU and I humbly ask that YOU give me humility and wisdom.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Teach me YOUR ways LORD!

With GOD and Jesus and the Holy Spirit teaching us, we are on the right path.  When we try to teach ourselves, that is where we may fail.  

GOD has a plan for our lives.  GOD has a plan for this earth.  GOD has a plan for the universe.  After all, this is all HIS creation.

So let us not try to fit GOD into our lives and our ways of thinking.  Let us not try to teach ourselves without involving GOD.  Let us get into the wonderful perfect picture of GOD's plan and our lives are sure to be far more fruitful than anything we could ever imagine.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU for YOUR plan for my life.  FATHER teach me to walk in YOUR ways.  Teach me to be more like Jesus and less like the things of this earth.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Repentance!

For the duration of my Christian life, I have always believed that repentance has to do with atonement for our sins.  That Jesus paid the price for us on the cross.  But that we had to feel the weight of our sins and to ask GOD to forgive us.

I have just completed the book, "Born from above" by Pastor Bill Randall.  It gave me enormous insight into the act of repentance.

Repentance from the Greek word Metanoia literally means to change your mind.   It is what happened to Saul on the road to Damascus.  He met the Lord and was filled with the Holy Spirit and he went from Saul to Paul.  From persecution to evangelism.  

That is what we are called on by Jesus to do.  To change our minds about sin and to turn from sinning, literally as being people who no longer wish to sin again.  

Of course we are never going to be sin free on earth, because of our human sinful natures.  However, if we ask GOD often to fill us with the Holy Spirit and allow the Holy Spirit to work in us, He will guide us to change our minds about committing the same sins again and again.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that YOU love me and that YOU can fill me continually with the Holy Spirit.  I humbly ask that the Holy Spirit guide me in all things to change my mind about sinning.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.
