By the wounds of Jesus we are healed!

When Jesus died on the cross, He took all our sins onto that cross and He washed them as white as snow.  

Through the shedding of the blood of an innocent man, we are saved.  

So how can we continue to sin when we have been cleansed by the blood of our Saviour?  Well the truth of the matter is that we cannot go on sinning.  We simply cannot continue to be as we were before we were "saved".  We need to change.

And repentance means that - to change our minds.  To turn one hundred and eighty degrees and move away from our sin.

We need to renew our minds by praying ardently and fervently.  We need to read the word of GOD.  We need to fellowship with other like minded Christians.  We need to listen for the word of GOD through whatever means.

And most of all, we simply cannot go on sinning.  That is to crucify our beloved Jesus over and over.  

Today, let us turn around and away from our sins.  Let us confess to GOD that we are sinners.  And let us renew our minds to better serve our Saviour and our FATHER in Heaven.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I confess that I am a sinner.  FATHER forgive me and help me to turn away from my old self and to put on a renewed persona who can serve YOU and do YOUR will here on earth.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.
