God made Jesus His High Priest!
God gave His Son the title of High Priest in the order of Melchizedek! Jesus who is Lord of ALL did not take on the glory of becoming a High Priest, but His Father bestowed upon Him the title for the enormous sacrifice that He made is coming to earth to save us all and give us eternal life.
In the same way Jesus Christ lived, so should we live. Not seeking glory for ourselves on earth but rather in storing up treasures for ourselves in Heaven.
Therefore especially during this Christmas period and in order to give reverence to our Lord and Saviour, let us do good but let us do it in secret and without seeking praise. Let us behave humbly as Jesus did and let us store up for ourselves the glory in Heaven.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, today help me to do good unto others. Help me to be a better ambassador for You here on earth today. Help me to forgive others as You forgive me and help me to do all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Saviour. Amen.
Stay God Blessed!
