God will sanctify you!

When Paul wrote to the Thessalonians, he told them that he was praying for God to sanctify them.  The word sanctify means to "purify, make free from sin".

So Paul in his writings to the people of Thessalonica states that his prayer for them is that they are purified and made free from sin by and through God's grace.

The Bible is full of verses showing the love of God for each one of us.  We are promised that if we believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that if we believe that He was born as a normal child; that He lived on earth among us; that He died for us and that He rose on the third day and sits at the right hand of God, we are sanctified through the grace of God.

Our next step is to pray for forgiveness of our sins and to forgive those who sin against us.

We need to put God first in our lives and we need to have a relationship with Him by reading His word daily and by praying to Him about everything.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, today I pray that You will forgive my sins as I forgive those who sin against me.  I pray that You will grant me Your grace and give me Your peace.  I pray this in the Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay God Blessed!
