Corinthians 1:21 “The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot
say to the feet, “I don’t need you!”
As we contemplate “Who are we in Christ" we need to consider our role as Christians in the world and how we manifest to
other people. By manifest, what we mean
is, how we can show the rest of the world that we are Christians and that they
are missing out on the greatest gift of all.
The love of God, the fellowship of our Lord, Jesus Christ and the
comfort of the Holy Spirit, living and actively working in each one of us.
So let us consider the verses of
Corinthians 1; 1-12. Paul speaks to us
of the importance of each part of the body in relation to the other. As Christians, no one is less important that the
other and by the same equation, no one is more important than the other.
So no matter how you want to serve God,
listen for His voice and He will guide you to serve Him.
How can we listen to God? By reading His
word every day. Even just a verse or
two. Through prayer every day… set aside a time to talk to God either with
someone else or even go into a quiet spot and spend a little time in conversation
with God. Tell Him your fears; show Him
your gratitude.
Talk to fellow Christians and, probably
more importantly, talk to those who don’t believe.
Make it your purpose in life to listen
for the word of God. You will hear Him in the most unexpected ways.
Prayer:
Father God, Our Living God, who created Heaven and earth. I thank you for being in my life and for
allowing me to be in your life. I thank
you Father that you are always willing to listen to me and to talk to me. Work in my heart Father and show me how I can
best serve you with my head, hands, my feet, and my heart. I love you, awesome God. Amen.
Stay Blessed.
