Jesus loves each one of us!
Jesus told His disciples and all of us to remain in His love.
How do we and how can we remain in His love? We need to keep His commandments. Jesus only really gave us two commandments.
The greatest commandment was that we love the LORD our GOD with all our hearts and with all our souls and with all our strength and with all our mind and the second that we love our neighbours as ourselves.
And in the verse we are using today the next verse is 10 "If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love."
Jesus kept all the commandments faithfully throughout His life. We are sinful and we often fall short of living our lives without sin.
So Jesus asked us to "keep His commandments" and in so doing we will remain in Him and as He abides in the FATHER, so we can abide in Him.
At the start of this week, let us resolve to keep the commandments of Jesus. Let us humble ourselves and fall down on our knees and thank GOD for HIS Son Jesus. Let us worship and adore GOD and let us love our neighbours as ourselves.
Prayer: Heavenly FATHER, today I ask that YOU keep me in YOU. I ask that I abide in Jesus and I worship YOU. I ask that YOU show me how to love my neighbour as myself. I ask this in Jesus Name. Amen.
Stay GOD blessed today.
