The New Testament does not do away with the Old Testament. Neither does the great commandment that Jesus gave His disciples replace the Ten Commandments.
As Christians, we need to know the Ten Commandments that GOD gave to Moses on Mount Sinai.
We should read them, know them and live by them. We should write them on our hearts and test all our actions against them. Let us not be deceived by false teachings who say that the Old Testament is not relevant or that the people of Israel are not GOD's chosen race.
If we agree with these false prophets, we effectively deny GOD. Jesus did not ever contradict anything GOD told Moses when HE gave Moses the Ten Commandments.
So let us write the Commandments down and write them on our hearts. They are the rules for successful living.
Prayer: Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU that YOU gave us the Ten Commandments. Help me O FATHER to live by them. I humbly ask this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and my Saviour. Amen.
