Jesus led the way!

Jesus came to earth as a man and He led the way back to our FATHER in Heaven.  No one, no person will get to our FATHER in Heaven unless he or she accepts Jesus as their Lord and their Saviour.

That is the truth and there is no other.  No other GOD sent their Son to die on cross, to conquer death and to rise from the dead to save people from their sin.

No other GOD has a Son called Jesus.  No other GOD can fill you with the Holy Spirit.  We worship a Triune GOD, GOD the FATHER, GOD the Son and GOD the Holy Spirit.

So today, I would urge you to accept Jesus Christ as your Redeemer if you have not done so.

Prayer;  ABBA FATHER, thank YOU that YOU sent the Light of the world to conquer the darkness and to guide our paths to YOU.   I thank YOU that I have a Redeemer who has taken my sins to the cross and has died so that I may have eternal life with YOU.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Avoid temptation - trust in Jesus!

Sometimes in life, especially in these really trying times, it is really difficult to contain our emotions.

Anger abounds in these modern times.  However, as children of GOD, if we read the Scriptures and know the Scriptures, we will know that it is not good to stir up anger.  This is true whether we are driving on our roads, doing business or indeed just dealing with people in the shops.

And we can always rely on the wisdom of Solomon.  And nowhere is it more necessary than now in these really difficult times to maintain a soft answer.  So let us avoid temptation to lose our tempers and let us dwell on, and indeed, meditate on the above verse.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU for the Scriptures which I can read each day and which keep me grounded.  Help me FATHER, to maintain a soft answer, no matter what.  I pray this in the Holy name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Jesus is coming back!

Jesus is coming back and we will see Him coming with the clouds of Heaven.  So we need to be like the nightwatchman.  Ready to go with Jesus.

In order to do this we need to be right with GOD.  We need to have accepted Jesus as our Lord and our Saviour.  We need to have asked GOD to forgive our sins and we need to have forgiven all those who have sinned against us.   We need to know that GOD keeps all HIS promises.  And this HE has promised us. 

Prayer;  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that I have accepted Jesus as my Lord and my Saviour.

FATHER, tonight, I pray that all reading this will know that Jesus lived on earth as a man.  He died on the cross to take our sins with Him to death.  He conquered death and rose on the third day so that we might overcome death and have eternal life with You. 

I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Prophecies fulfilled - Jesus is coming back!

Our Redeemer, Jesus Christ promised that He would return to earth and that we would all see Him coming in the clouds to fetch the children of our FATHER in Heaven.

And when we look at the above prophecies already fulfilled, we should be aware that we are rapidly running out of time to accept Jesus as our Saviour.

Prayer;  ABBA FATHER, today, I pray for all those reading this who have not yet confessed Jesus as their Lord and their Saviour, that they do so now.  I pray that YOU would accept them and forgive their sins, FATHER.  I again accept Jesus as my Lord and my Saviour.  Forgive my sins as I forgive all those who have sinned against me.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Obey the teachings of Jesus!

Jesus taught His disciples how to pray.  He taught them how to believe.  He taught them how to minister to others.  But most of all, Jesus taught them to love the LORD our GOD with all their might.

And this is what we are called to do.  We are to love GOD above all else.  Then we are to love each other.  And if we obey these two commands, we will surely live the way Jesus asked us to live.

So today, let us decide that we want to obey the teaching of Jesus and GOD.  We need to put GOD first and then put others before ourselves. 

Prayer;  ABBA FATHER, show me how to be more like Jesus.  Show me how to love others more.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Pray to GOD about everything!

Jesus taught His disciples how to pray.  And Jesus prayed to GOD!  How much more then, should we, who are not from Heaven pray to our FATHER in Heaven!

We need to pray to GOD in the morning, in the day, in the evening and in the day.  We need to pray to GOD about everything.  We need to thank GOD for everything.  We need to discuss our plans with GOD.  But most of all, in our prayers, we need to listen for GOD.

That is why we need to fellowship with other believers.  That is why we need to read our Bibles, daily.  But most of all, that is why we need to pray to our FATHER in Heaven.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that I can bring everything to YOU in prayer.  I praise YOUR Holy Name.  I love YOU FATHER.  Show me YOUR will and YOUR plan for my life.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Gather together to pray!

It is really difficult to gather together under the COVID lockdown.  But Jesus told His disciples that where two or more are gathered together in His name, there He would be also.  And Jesus always keeps His promises.

That is why it is so important to gather together to pray.  And I realize that some people may be all alone, but then it is vital to join an online prayer gathering or an online Church service.

Make this a weekly habit and make it a daily habit to commune with Jesus and GOD.  Make it a daily habit to read the Bible and to share a verse or two with anyone whom you may know.

GOD is with us and HE wants us to be in fellowship with each other.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I pray today that all reading this blog may feel YOUR presence and know YOUR grace.  I pray each person who turns to YOU today will feel YOUR abounding love.   I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The grace of Jesus!

As our FATHER is the CREATOR of everything, we are HIS creation.  Therefore, whether we wish to accept HIM or not, we are all GOD's people.  And the final exultation in Revelations is that the grace of our Lord Jesus should be with GOD's people.

And all we need to do is to accept this gift of grace.  

How do we do this?  In the simplest possible way.  We need to accept Jesus as our Lord and our Saviour.  We need to admit that we are sinner and that we need the forgiveness of GOD which was given freely to each one of us when Jesus took all our sins onto the cross and died for you and for me.  And then we need to confess with our mouths that we have accepted Jesus as our Redeemer and have the faith to believe that through this we are saved.

It is really simple and if you have never done so, I would truly implore you to do so tonight.  Time is running out and we are very near the end.  

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that I know that Jesus is my Lord and my Saviour.  FATHER, I would humbly ask that anyone reading this who has not accepted Jesus do so tonight.  I would ask that they admit to YOU that they are sinners like me and that they would confess Jesus as their Redeemer.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay graciously GOD blessed tonight.  

We can live an eternal life in Jesus!

As children of GOD we should not fear dying.  As sure as we have been born, so too, we shall pass away from this world.  But the good news is that when we accept the Grace of GOD and we accept Jesus as our Redeemer, we know that we have Jesus on our side.  And Jesus has died for you and for me.  He has borne our sins to the cross and He will speak up for us in Heaven.

So, today, know that we will die.  Our loved ones too, will die.  We will never be alone, if we will but accept Jesus.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that I have Jesus with me always.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD with us to the end of times!

GOD will never leave us or forsake us.  GOD created this entire Universe.  And HE always keeps HIS promises.

Therefore we can rest easy, knowing that we have GOD with us into eternity.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that YOU are always with me.  I thank YOU that I can count on YOU never leaving or forsaking me.   I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

To GOD be praise and glory and honour and power forever and ever!

Although many people deny the existence of GOD and many more worship false gods, we are told that every single creature on earth and in the Heavens and under the sea shall worship GOD.

And to GOD shall be the praise, the honour, the power and the glory forever and ever.

So at the end of times, which I believe to be very near, Jesus will come and fetch His flock.  Then there will be a time of tribulation and thereafter, GOD, our Triune CREATOR, GOD the FATHER, GOD the Son and GOD the Holy Spirit, shall be praised and honoured and shall have all the glory and the power forever and ever.  Come Jesus come soon!

Prayer;  Lord Jesus and FATHER GOD, I praise YOU with all my heart, with all my soul and with all my strength, and I pray that YOU will come back to earth soon.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and my Redeemer.  Amen.

Blessed are the peacemakers!

If we want to be children of GOD, the beatitudes that Jesus gave when He preached are really worth a closer look.  And perhaps it is right to dwell on this particular one, when considering whether, indeed we are able to call ourselves children of GOD.

Do we act as peacemakers? Or are we quarrelsome?

Today, let us choose peace and try to be more gentle, more humble, more attentive to the needs of others and .... well, more like Jesus!

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, show me how to be a good peacemaker.  Let me be more like Jesus, day by day.  I pray this in the Holy Name of my Redeemer. Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Wait for GOD!

Our FATHER in Heaven hears all our prayers.  HE is omniscient.  HE is omnipotent.  HE is omnipresent.

But we are such impatient people, seeking answers straight away.  And often we pray to GOD and GOD answers us, but either we are not listening, or we have forgotten that we asked. 

The secret to this is to wait for GOD.  Ask and wait.  GOD will always reply and GOD will show us the way if we exercise patience.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, teach me to be patient when I pray and not to expect instant replies.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The grace of GOD be with you!

We are all GOD's people because our FATHER in Heaven, puts the spirit into each and every person on earth.  So whether or not we accept GOD as our FATHER and our CREATOR, we are of HIM and here because of HIM.  

And with the knowledge of the being the Children of GOD and heirs with Jesus Christ, comes the grace of GOD.  

Therefore in this verse above, John leaves us with the a benediction that the Grace of Jesus Christ will be with all people of GOD.

Today, if you have not done so, choose to accept this gift of GOD through HIS Son Jesus Christ.  

Prayer;  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU for YOUR grace and favour tonight.  I thank YOU for Jesus Christ, my Lord and my Redeemer.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Return to ME!

Our FATHER in Heaven always leaves us our free will. And our CREATOR is glorious enough to ask us to return to HIM and if we do or we don't is up to us. 

GOD gives us chance after chance and it is all up to us.

Either we accept the hand of our FATHER or we reject HIM.  Either we accept Jesus as the only way to get to our FATHER or we do not.  Always, the choice is ours.

As the times would indicate, we are living in the end of times.  Jesus can return today, tomorrow, next week, next month .... anytime.  Are we ready?

Prayer;  ABBA FATHER, tonight I pray that all reading this may accept Jesus as their Lord and their Saviour.  I pray that they accept the Grace of GOD.  I humbly ask this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD on our side!

Dwell on this verse with me tonight and let us contemplate the world as it is today.  What an absolute shambles we have managed to make of this earth.  We have pollution, overpopulation, starvation, disease, hunger, poverty and most of all we have politicians who are totally incapable of sorting it all out.

But never forget that our GOD is greater than all of these and HE is greater than any men and all men put together.  Nothing is impossible for GOD.

So tonight, rather than think about all the negativity around us, let us think about the possibilities of life with our FATHER.  Let us think about being with our FATHER where none of the problems would be around and let us then choose to have faith in Jesus and GOD and the Holy Spirit who can fix everything with a word.

Prayer;  ABBA FATHER, the world is in a mess and that is why I look to YOU.  I see YOUR perfection as such a stark contrast to what is going on today on this earth.  FATHER show me YOUR perfect will and YOUR perfect way and I choose to accept YOUR grace.  I choose Jesus Christ as my Redeemer and I thank YOU for the hope that I have in YOU.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The Righteous live by faithfulness!

Abraham believed GOD when GOD told him that he would make his offspring more plentiful than the sands on the beach.  And at that point, Abraham and Sarah did not even have a child of their own.  But the belief in what GOD told him was credited to him as righteousness (Genesis 15:6).  And this statement is repeated by Paul in Romans 4:3.

So what are we to understand from this.  Well the message to us is simple.  If we will but believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of GOD and that He came to earth to die on a cross and that He took all of our sins to that cross.  If we will but believe that Jesus conquered death and rose from the dead on the third day, then we too shall be credited with righteousness and we will have the opportunity to accept the grace of GOD and to spend eternity with Jesus, GOD and the Holy Spirit.

Prayer;  ABBA FATHER, I cry out to YOU tonight.  I accept YOUR enormous grace and favour and I pray that this will be credited to me as righteousness.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Take refuge in the Lord!

Why should we take refuge in the LORD?

As children of GOD, we should know our MASTER's voice.  We should know our MASTER's will and wish for our lives.

And if we do not know, then we are simply not listening to GOD.  We are not praying enough and we are not reading the word of GOD.  

GOD wants us to place our trust in HIM completely.  Therefore, as Jesus said in Matthew 6: 25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?"

As valued children of GOD and heirs with Christ, we must trust in our FATHER in Heaven.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that I have nothing to worry about because I know that YOU are in charge of my life.  And for that I worship YOU with gratitude.  Thank YOU FATHER, in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The Lord of Hosts!

Our CREATOR FATHER, who created the entire universe, is to be praised.  So today, that is what I wish to do.  I want everyone reading this to thank GOD.

Let us thank GOD for our lives, our family, our friends.  Let us thank GOD for love, for day and night. Let us thank GOD for the time that we have on earth.  And most of all, let us thank GOD for HIS enormous grace in sending HIS Son Jesus Christ, to die on a cross for us.

Prayer;  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU for all that I have and all that I am.  I thank YOU for YOUR grace and favour.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Jesus my light!

We are all human and we are all sinners.  The thing that we need to do is to acknowledge this truth.  GOD is not a human being.  HE is the CREATOR and HE is the Omniscient, Omnipresent, Omnipotent FATHER.  In HIM is no sin.  In Jesus, there is no sin.  In the Holy Spirit there is no sin.

The sooner that we admit that we are frail, human and sinful, the sooner we get to be in a bond with GOD.  The sooner we can walk towards a life in the light with our Saviour Jesus Christ.

Prayer;  ABBA FATHER, how much I love YOU.  I know that without YOU in my life, my life is meaningless and empty.  I am a sinner.  And tonight I confess that I know this.  I know that Jesus is the light and I ask that YOU send me the Light.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

My Soul longs for YOU FATHER!

Sometimes in life, when we face trials and tribulations, I find that my soul longs for my FATHER in Heaven.

And I know that I am not alone in this.  This does not mean that I am not loving life on earth or that I am not extremely grateful for the life that our CREATOR has given me to live.

What it does mean is that my soul longs to be much closer to our Heavenly FATHER.

Prayer;  ABBA FATHER, I am so grateful for the life YOU have given me to live on earth.  I thank YOU for my family, for my friends and for everything that I have and everything that I will experience on your wonderful earth.  But some days, FATHER, my soul longs for YOU.  I pray that YOU will come and fill me with YOUR Holy Spirit and YOUR love.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Our days are numbered!

Today we should consider and meditate on the fact that our days are numbered.  GOD writes down the day of our birth and the day of our death.

And we cannot avoid either.

But what we can ask GOD to do, is to give us the wisdom to count each and every day and use them wisely.  So let us ask for this today!

Prayer;  ABBA FATHER, today I cry out to YOU and humbly ask that YOU give me the wisdom to number each day and to make each day a day in which and through which I can give all the glory to YOU.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

How great is our GOD!

Let us consider this verse and let us dwell on the fact of how great and awesome our FATHER in Heaven truly is.

What a gracious, wondrous FATHER we have in Heaven.  HE controls everything in our universe.  HE knows things we have never considered.  HE does not have constraints over anything HE does or can do and wishes to do.  And we can call this AWESOME CREATOR our FATHER.

With GOD on side and GOD in our lives, how very blessed we truly are!

Prayer;  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU and I thank YOU and I thank YOU.  I worship YOU and I say FATHER - I love YOU with all my heart, with all my soul and with all my mind.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Open our eyes FATHER GOD!

We need to ask GOD to open our eyes and our ears and our hearts and minds so that we can understand what GOD wants us to know. 

As we have all been given free will to do what we want, if we constantly reject the word of GOD and we refuse to hear what GOD is telling us, eventually, our hearts will be so hardened to our FATHER, that we will be unable to hear from GOD.

So today, before we close this blog, let us beg our FATHER in Heaven to open our hearts, to open our eyes and to open our ears.

Prayer;  ABBA FATHER, open my heart to YOU.  Open my eyes to YOU and open my ears to YOU.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Our GOD - merciful and forgiving!

Our FATHER in Heaven loves each one us.  We are made in HIS image.  And HE wants to relate to each one of us.  And what do we do?  We rebel against HIM.

Now we may say:  "We are children of GOD".  And this is true.  But when we behave badly, we hurt our FATHER in Heaven.  We distance ourselves from HIM and separate ourselves.

Just like the isolation we are now enduring, so we, through our sinful natures, isolate ourselves from our FATHER in Heaven.

So how do we get back into HIS arms?  We simply call on our FATHER to forgive our sins.  We accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and our Saviour.  We admit that we are sinners and we confess our love for our FATHER and for Jesus Christ and ask for the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

Prayer;  ABBA FATHER, I want to have a deep and meaningful relationship with YOU.  I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and my Saviour.  I ask that YOU fill me with the Holy Spirit.  Forgive my sins as I forgive those who sin against me.  I ask this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.
