If we want to be children of GOD, the beatitudes that Jesus gave when He preached are really worth a closer look. And perhaps it is right to dwell on this particular one, when considering whether, indeed we are able to call ourselves children of GOD.
Do we act as peacemakers? Or are we quarrelsome?
Today, let us choose peace and try to be more gentle, more humble, more attentive to the needs of others and .... well, more like Jesus!
Prayer: Heavenly FATHER, show me how to be a good peacemaker. Let me be more like Jesus, day by day. I pray this in the Holy Name of my Redeemer. Jesus Christ. Amen.
