Be thankful!

As little children we are taught by our parents to be thankful and to say thank you for each and every thing that we receive.

But let us consider what GOD has given to us all without a single thank YOU.  HE created for us the Heavens and the earth, before HE even created man and woman.  HE created food and the means to clothe ourselves.  HE created the sea and the dry land.

GOD created everything.  And the very least we can do is to appreciate what HE has done for us and to give thanks each and every day for all our blessings.

As one of the posters that I have put says, "what if tomorrow morning you woke up with only the things that you thanked GOD for today?"  So today let us come before our Heavenly FATHER with an attitude of gratitude and be thankful.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that YOU loved me first and that YOU created the Heavens and the earth for me to live in.  I thank YOU for all that I have and all that I am.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of my Lord and my Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.
