There is simply no way that we can possibly keep all the Levitical laws. We find it difficult enough to keep the ten commandments.
So GOD devised a plan. And that plan required the shedding of blood. And the blood had to be pure and righteous and without blemish. GOD chose Jesus to be our Redeemer and to take our sins onto the Cross with Him and to face the wrath of GOD poured out for you and for me.
That is why the following is so important to remember:
- Jesus was born of a Virgin - the Holy Spirit came upon his mother
- Jesus was Holy - although a man, with all the human trials, he never sinned
- Jesus was tempted for forty days and never succumbed to temptation
- Jesus performed many signs and wonders whilst on earth
- Jesus taught the disciples and the people the Truth
- Jesus was baptized
- Jesus had to die on that cross and to face the wrath of GOD on our behalf
- Jesus had to shed His blood for us
- Jesus died on that cross
- Jesus was buried and spent three days and three nights in that tomb
- Jesus rose from the dead
- Jesus conquered death so that we might have eternal life with GOD
- Jesus ascended into Heaven and
- Jesus sits at the right Hand of our FATHER GOD.
- Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
If you accept Jesus, then you have to know that the above is the truth. This is faith. And faith leads to hope in our eternal salvation.
Should you not have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, I implore you - do not tarry. The time may be running out for you to do so and tomorrow may be too late.
Accept the Grace of GOD. Choose an eternity with GOD today!
Prayer: ABBA FATHER, today, I humbly ask that YOU soften the hearts of anyone who is reading this and has not accepted YOUR grace, that they would turn to YOU FATHER. I humbly pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
