Chosen people - a royal priesthood!

 Dearest Christ followers, we are so privileged to have been called out of the darkness and into the light. 

GOD has, in HIS mercy and grace, made a way for us to get to HIM directly.  We do not need a priest or sacrifices to atone for our sins. 

Jesus has done all of that for us on the Cross.

All we have to do is to accept Jesus Christ, repent and believe.

However, when we are children of GOD, this comes with all the responsibility of being a child to a KING, the CREATOR of the heavens, the earth and the universe.

No longer can we behave in the manner of people of the world.  We are called to be more like Jesus.  We need to shine the light of Jesus in this dark world and that means we need to live in this world, but not be of this world.

We are "set aside" by our faith.  And this needs to be reflected in all that we do.

If we, as children of GOD, are not changing day by day and becoming more like Jesus, we need to ask GOD to fill us anew with HIS Holy Spirit.  We need to ask GOD to convict us to sin less.  We need to study the Word of GOD and we need to pray earnestly for our lives to reflect GOD in HIS glory and HIS grace and HIS mercy.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, today I humbly pray that YOU fill me anew with YOUR Holy Spirit.  FATHER, show me how to be more like Jesus each and every day.  I humbly pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.
