Praise the LORD for I am fearfully and wonderfully made!

I sometimes cannot get a Hymn out of my mind.  And today it is "When I consider all the works THY hands has made"

And this Psalm embodies that Hymn.  GOD sees in us what HE has created.  When we look at ourselves, we want to change this or that or the other.

Actually what we are doing is insulting what GOD designed for us to be.

We are made in HIS image and we are fearfully and wonderfully made.

Growing up, I never understood the meaning of the words "love ourselves".  But as I have grown older and perhaps a little wiser, I now understand that I am made in the exact way GOD wanted me to be.

In order to honour GOD, I need to love myself.  Not in a boastful way, but to love myself, as a child of GOD.  To love what GOD has blessed me with.

Today, take a little time and consider what GOD made when HE created you and I.  And then spend a little more time loving that which our FATHER created.  It is in praise of our CREATOR FATHER!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, thank YOU that YOU made me.  Thank YOU in the Holy name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay wondrously GOD blessed today!

My purpose for the LORD!

Our FATHER in Heaven has a great and wonderful plan for you and for me.  HIS plan is the purpose of our lives.  And we have been given free will.  To do the will of our FATHER, or to do our will.

The choices that we make reflect whether we go with the will of our FATHER or whether we are stubborn and follow our own way.

The important thing in life, is once we have accepted that we are sinners, accepted and believed in Jesus Christ as our Saviour and been filled with the Holy Spirit, we need to pray about everything we think, everything we say and everything we do.

And then we need to wait on our FATHER to hear what HE wants us to do.  Not to rush into anything, to wait on the LORD.

And that which our FATHER has begun in us, HE will make perfect.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I cry out to YOU tonight.  Make perfect in me, the works YOU began so long ago.  Let me fulfil my purpose here on earth and the works which YOU set aside for me to do.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay truly GOD blessed today!

Blessed is every one who fears the Lord!

Fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom.  When we know the greatness of our FATHER in Heaven, it is right that we fear HIM.  HE is everything that we cannot be on earth.  HE is omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent.  HE is pure and Holy and good and righteous.  HE is our going out and our coming in.  GOD is everything and HE created everything.

We cannot fathom GOD nor can we ever understand GOD fully.  We cannot know HIS plans or HIS purposes.

What we can do is know that GOD created us.  GOD loves us and GOD wants a living purposeful relationship with each one of us.

We can pray to GOD at any time because Jesus came to this earth and lived on this earth and died in our place so that we are made free from sin.  This gives us direct access to GOD our FATHER and through this, we can ask for forgiveness and be forgiven.  We can then have a life on earth free from the burden of our sins, past, present and future.  Because we are saved by the blood of Jesus, which washed you and I clean.

So today, accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour of your life, if you have never done so.  Repent.  Be saved and come into the fullness of a life in Jesus with GOD in Heaven.  This is the grace of GOD.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, thank YOU that YOU loved me first.  Thank YOU that I can love YOU through Jesus Christ my Lord and my Saviour.  I thank YOU in the Holy name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay truly GOD blessed today!

I will lift my eyes to the Hills from whence comes my help! My help comes from the LORD!

How magnificent is this Psalm.  It speaks to the majesty and grace of our awesome FATHER in Heaven.  This Psalm goes on to tell us and remind us that GOD made the heaven and the earth.

GOD will not slumber nor sleep.

And under the protection of our FATHER, we are saved.

Furthermore, the LORD shall preserve our going out and our coming in.  Forevermore.

What grace! What majesty! What divine authority!  This is our wonderful FATHER, whom I shall praise with all my heart!

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, thank YOU for the inspiration that you gave to the Psalmist who wrote this.  It lives in my heart forever.  Thank YOU for this life that YOU blessed me to live.  Thank YOU that I can speak of YOU and praise YOU and worship YOU with all my heart, with all my soul, with all my strength.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay wondrously GOD blessed today!

GOD's word a light for my path!

I am busy reading Psalms.  And it is always such a pleasure to know that the Psalmists experienced life the way we have it on earth today.  They had trials and tribulations and celebrations and jubilations.  But the consistent message in the Psalms is that we need to praise and worship our FATHER in Heaven.  He is the light of the world.  HE gives us hope of eternity without all the trials of this earth, but with greater jubilation than we could ever imagine.

So today, let us bow down and worship our FATHER without whom we would spend eternity in Hell.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU for being the light in my life.  I thank YOU that YOU gave me YOUR Son Jesus Christ to show me the way to salvation and an eternity with YOU.  FATHER no matter what I face on earth, I know that YOU are waiting for me in Heaven.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay truly GOD blessed today!

The LORD is my song!

Without GOD I know that I am nothing.  GOD gives me life and strength and love and hope and being. And purpose.  Because if my purpose in life was only to live, accumulate things and die, how empty would it be?

With GOD removed from my life, it is completely empty.  A long wait from birth to death.

With GOD in my life, I see HIS majesty everywhere.  I see the purpose of my life.  And that is worship GOD with every fibre in my body.  To sing to the LORD and to praise HIM for the wonder of life that HE has given me.  My life, my family, my friends, my job, the earth to live on, the universe to live in.  And eternity to spend with HIM through Jesus Christ, My Lord adn my Redeemer.

GOD is indeed my song!

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER I thank YOU that YOU are my eternity.   YOU are my going out and my coming in. I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay wondrously GOD blessed today!

Praise the LORD!

We are called to praise the LORD from the rising of the sun until the setting of the sun.  All day and every day.  We should never cease praising our FATHER in Heaven.

Without our Dear FATHER, we would not have this earth, the universe, or indeed our lives.  And we are so blessed each and every day.

If you live in a house, if you have a job, if you have family, if you have a garden, food to eat and clothes to eat, this is all from GOD.

We may think it is because we have worked and earned these things, but it is not.  It is all a gift from GOD.

Today, let us bow down and worship our Majestic FATHER in Heaven.  HE is truly righteous and awesome.  HIS glory shall live and reign forever and forever.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, thank YOU for YOUR majesty and goodness.  Thank YOU for this gift of life and love and each other FATHER.  Thank YOU for the house that I live in, the clothes that I wear and the family and friends that I have.  Thank YOU for all my blessings.  Thank YOU for YOUR grace and Favour.  I pray this all in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay wondrously GOD blessed today!

Praise the LORD!

Our purpose on earth is not a mystery.  All we have to do to know our purpose on earth, is to read Revelation.  And we see that the Heavenly Host are praising GOD.

That is our purpose on earth.  To praise our FATHER in Heaven.

So how can we continually praise GOD?  By starting our day with a prayer and a thought of our FATHER in Heaven.  Then by reading HIS word.  By praying for each and every meal and thanking GOD for our blessings of having food to eat.

We can also praise GOD by fearing HIM.  And I am not talking about being scared of GOD.  I am talking about fearing HIM.  Knowing HIS Omniscience, HIS omnipresence and HIS omnipotence.

Realizing that our FATHER is so great and so majestic and so good and so powerful and so holy and so pure, we are giving praise to GOD.  That is our purpose on earth!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, thank YOU for YOUR great power, YOUR majesty, YOUR grace.  I am in awe of YOU FATHER.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay truly GOD blessed today!

Fear of the Lord!

When we fully comprehend the majesty of our FATHER in Heaven, we begin to understand how fearfully wonderful HE is.

And that fear, the Bible tells us, is the beginning of wisdom.  That fear leads us to start to truly understand the ten commandments and how many times we have broken them.  That fear leads us to repentance.

That is the work of the Holy Spirit which comes upon us once we understand that we are not worthy of the love of our FATHER, because we have sinned and sinned greatly.

So if you do not fear the Lord, ask yourself? "Am I repentant?"  And if you are not, then ask to be filled with the Holy Spirit.  But repent first.  Believe in Jesus and confess this truth with your mouth.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER I thank YOU that I have the Holy Spirit living in me to guide me to an eternal life with YOU.  I thank YOU in the Holy name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay truly GOD blessed today!

Jesus in the Old Testament!

It always amazes me at how accurately the word of the Bible points to Jesus coming as our Lord and Saviour.  It shows that the Bible has to be the Holy Spirit inspired word of GOD.

There simply is no other explanation.

For King David to say, the LORD said unto My Lord, sit Thou at my right hand.  And we know through reading the Bible that the place GOD reserved for HIS Son at HIS throne is the seat at HIS right hand.

And it also points to GOD being Jesus and Jesus being GOD.  Because this verse says, "The LORD said to my Lord".  And the first LORD is GOD and the second Lord is Jesus.

We serve a truly amazing GOD who inspired a book - a manual for us to read and then to learn and then to use to be able to lead lives that glorify and worship our FATHER in Heaven.

Prayer:  My LORD and FATHER, tonight I bow down and worship at YOUR throne of glory.  I thank YOU FATHER, that I can read YOUR word and that YOUR word is a lamp for my life.  I thank YOU in the Holy name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay truly GOD blessed today!

Seek the LORD!

We need to seek the strength of our LORD for each and every action that we take.  For each and thought and for each and every plan that we make.

Without GOD in our lives, we are bound to go astray.  With GOD we have the greatest thing on our side, our Heavenly FATHER.

But it no good going to GOD and asking HIM for strength and then not listening.  Therefore we need to seek HIS face always.

Tonight let us ask GOD to shine HIS face, clothed in wonder and majesty upon each and everything that we do.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU for YOUR grace and favour.   I pray FATHER that YOU will shine YOUR face upon me as I seek YOUR strength in my life.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay truly GOD blessed today!
