God is Light

God is the Light.  When we walk in the light, we walk with God.  When we walk in the darkness we walk alone with the darkness.

To have a relationship with our loving Father, we need to put aside everything that is dark.  We need to cast off our old selves and put on our new selves.  This is often very hard to do. 

However, our Father is a loving and most importantly forgiving God who wants us to be with Him.  Therefore when we find that we have stumbled and reverted to our dark ways, we need to get on our knees and repent and ask God to forgive us and we can return to the safety of His eternal life  and return to His light.

Prayer:  Heavenly Holy Father, I pray today that You will forgive my sins.  I promise to forgive all those who sin against me.  I pray Father that I can return to Your LIght and live a life with You.  I ask this in Jesus' name.  Amen.
