We need to be more willing to listen and less willing to talk. This is especially true in our dealings with the people around us. We learn to live in harmony when we become people that others can talk to and when we take the time to listen to them.
This is also true of our relationship with God. When we are reading our bibles we cannot be talking and this gives God a time to talk to us. When we pray we also need to wait in our prayers to give God time to talk to us. So although we need to talk, we need to make time in our prayers to listen for His word.
Prayer: Awesome Father God, give me the ears to hear Your voice and make me less willing to talk and more willing to listen. I pray that I can hear Your voice each day. I pray this in the name of my Lord and Saviour Christ Jesus. Amen.
