God tells us not to let our hearts be troubled. We need to believe in Him and in His Son Jesus. We are then not alone as the Holy Spirit will come and live in us. So we will never be alone.
In order to be a Christian and to walk a Christian path free from worry and anxiety, we need to draw closer to our Father. We can do this through daily reading of His word. We can speak to Him every day about everything. And we can then draw on the inner strength that He will give us through His Holy Spirit.
Prayer: Almighty God, our Heavenly Father, please let me draw closer to You today. Let me hear Your voice in my ears and let me read Your word. I want the Holy Spirit to live in me and I want to reflect Your glory on earth. I pray this in the name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Amen.
