GOD knows each one of us!

GOD knows each one us!  HE knows our going out and our coming in.   When we read the Scriptures in many places in the Bible it tells us that we are "chosen" by GOD " (1 Peter 2:9)
But you are A CHOSEN RACE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PEOPLE FOR God's OWN POSSESSION, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;   (Ephesians 1:4) He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will,"  and many many other such verses.

GOD wants us to spend eternity with HIM.  We are temporary residents of this earth.  We have a responsibility to this earth and the people of this earth to take care of the earth and to spread the "good news" that we are all "children of the LIVING GOD".

We need to be obedient to this and we need to spend our time on earth wisely and  we also need to prepare for our eternal life with GOD.

Today let us draw close to OUR FATHER in Heaven who chose each one of us to be HIS children.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU that I have been chosen as YOUR child on earth.  Give me opportunities to spread YOUR word and to be obedient to YOUR will.  I humbly pray all of this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Believe!

Without faith we are not children of the Living GOD.  We need to have faith that our GOD loves us and that our GOD sent HIS Son to die for our sins.  We need to pray in faith.

However, even with faith, if we ask in prayer and believe that GOD will give it to us, then so it will be. 

This is an extremely hard thing to put into practise.  To have the belief that whatever we ask for in prayer, GOD will give us, and this is where we often fall down.  We ask GOD to help us but wonder, if in fact, HE will.  This doubt causes our prayers not to be answered as GOD can read our hearts.

Therefore let us practise praying in the belief that GOD will help us and that HE is listening to us all the time.  Faith in GOD is like a muscle, the more you use it, the stronger it gets.

In order to have faith, we need to be in a strong loving relationship with GOD and we can do this through reading HIS word daily.  Through prayer and through talking to GOD about everything.

Let us do this today!

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I believe that YOU are listening to this prayer right now.  I pray for all the people who read this blog to know YOU and to have a personal relationship with YOU.  I pray that YOU will strengthen our faith today.  I pray all of this in the Holy Name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Our GOD made Heaven and Earth!

Our awesome GOD made Heaven and Earth.  HE made you and me.  HE created everything we know and everything we don't know.

When we start to realized the magnitude of our GOD then we start to realize that absolutely nothing is impossible for our GOD no matter how impossible the situation appears to us.

Therefore today, let us "right size"our GOD.  Let us fall down on our knees and pray and worship this magnificent, omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent GOD.  Our GOD sees everything and hears everything.  Nothing escapes HIM.  

Let us petition GOD with all our needs and with all our worries and with all our stresses.  Let us cast all of this upon HIM and depend on HIM totally.  After all we cannot fathom the heights nor depths of this CREATOR FATHER of ours!

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER, I thank YOU that I am able to worship YOU.  I thank  YOU for YOUR creation, this Earth upon which I am blessed enough to live.  I thank YOU for my life and for the life of all those on this Earth.  

FATHER YOU know what I need.  I humbly pray that YOU guide me and help me through this coming week.  I humbly ask that you forgive my sins as I  forgive all those who sin against me. 

I pray all of this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, my Redeemer, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Jesus our Redeemer!

GOD sent HIS Son Jesus Christ, a man completely pure and free of sin, to die for us as our "scapegoat".  This sacrifice is so great that we are unable to comprehend it.  Can any of us imagine allowing one of our children to die for something that they did not do?  Especially if that child was pure and free of any sin?

It does not bear thinking about!

This enormous GOD of ours, this magnificent CREATOR GOD did this for us.  HE watched us crucify HIS blameless child so that we might have life everlasting with HIM!

Let us not crucify Jesus all over by continuing to sin.  Let us think about our actions on earth and contemplate this selfless act of grace and fall down on our knees and beg GOD to forgive us for ever sinning.  And most of all let us resolve to sin no more.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU for YOUR enormous sacrifice and YOUR grace.  I thank YOU for the life of Jesus Christ, my Redeemer.  I thank YOU that through Him, I have a chance to have eternal life with YOU.  Forgive my sins, ABBA FATHER.  I forgive all those who have sinned against me and I promise to remember their sins no more.  I pray all of this in the most Holy Name of my Lord and my Saviour, my Redeemer, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD delivers us!

GOD delivers us when we ask.  But we need to ask for deliverance.  Deliverance from our sins, deliverance for those who sin against us.  And most of all deliverance from our trials and tribulations.  Without asking GOD we receive nothing. 

GOD wants us to have a living relationship with us.  Just like a child asks a parent for their everyday needs, so we need to ask our FATHER in Heaven for our needs.

We need to give HIM love and adoration and HE will give us whatever we ask for if it is HIS will.  Just like a child will not get things that are bad for them, so we will not receive things that are bad for our eternal salvation.

Trust in GOD for our deliverance.

Prayer: ABBA FATHER I adore YOU. I thank YOU for YOUR grace and YOUR unending love.   Today I humbly ask that YOU deliver me from the trials and tribulations of this world.  I forgive all those who sin against me and I humbly ask that YOU forgive my sins.  I pray all of this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Meditate on GOD's word!

In line with asking and receiving, we as children of the LIVING GOD need to know what GOD is saying to each one of us.  GOD talks to us through our prayers, though other people and most of all through HIS word, the Bible.

If we choose not to read the Bible, we are missing out on the most important part of our communion with GOD.

Therefore we need to set aside quiet time each and every day to read the Bible.  Then to pray quietly and listen to what GOD is telling us.

Let us therefore meditate on what message GOD is giving each one us today!

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU that I am able to read YOUR word today.  I pray that YOU talk to me through YOUR word and through people whom I may meet today.  I long to hear YOUR voice and I long to meditate on YOUR word today.  I pray all of this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Praise GOD!

In the last few days, I have been writing about asking and receiving from GOD.  Todays writing follows on from that.  When we ask GOD for something, we should not be anxious and stressed about whether or not our prayers and supplications will be heard.  

Rather we need to praise and worship our ALMIGHTY GOD, when we petition HIM.  We need to pray using praise and worship, and then expect to receive the peace which transcends all understanding.

That is why Jesus taught us how to pray in Matthew 6:9-13 when he said:   9  “This, then, is how you should pray"

By praying like this, we start off praising our FATHER in Heaven.  “Our Father in Heaven, hallowed be Your name," 

We ask that HIS NAME be revered throughout the earth and we ask that everything be done according to HIS MIGHTY will. “10 Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."

We then go on to ask for our prayers to be answered by asking for our daily bread.  "11  Give us today our daily bread."

And we then move on to asking for forgiveness of our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. "12 And forgive us our debts,  as we also have forgiven our debtors. "  
We ask not to be led into temptation. "13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. "  

In the more modern Churches we say "For THINE is the Kingdom, the power and the glory, forever and ever.  (This gives all Glory to GOD forever).  Amen"

This is how we need to pray, using praise and worshipping the HOLY NAME of GOD our FATHER in Heaven.  We can then expect to hear from GOD.  

Listen out for HIM and for HIS voice today!

Prayer : ABBA FATHER, we worship YOUR Holy Name.  I pray that each and every person reading this today is GOD blessed.  We pray that YOU hear our prayers and our supplications today FATHER.  We ask all of this in the Holy Name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Everyone who asks receives!

This verse is often used to preach a "prosperity ministry".  The reason for this is that we often place the wrong emphasis on what we ask for.  Jesus said:  "Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God."  (Matthew 19:24.

When we pray we need to remember that if what we ask for is in line with GOD's plan for our lives, we can have it.  We also need to thank GOD for what we have and truly appreciate what we have rather than asking GOD to give us more. 

When Jesus spoke about asking and receiving it is not about material wealth.  It is about asking for the life eternal, the infilling of the Holy Spirit and our faith and in these things,  we will receive it.  We need to believe that we will receive it, in order to get it. 

And in order to have life everlasting with Jesus Christ and GOD, we need forgiveness of our sins, we need to forgive those who sin against us and we need to believe in Jesus Christ our Lord as the ONLY way to get to GOD and life eternal.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU that I can ask YOU for anything and if I truly believe I can have it.  I thank YOU for the life of Jesus Christ as my Redeemer.  I humbly ask that YOU forgive my sins as I forgive those who sin against me.  I pray all of this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Ask!

Jesus said to His disciples, " Ask and it will be given to you".  This verse is so often taken out of context.

What Jesus was in effect saying was that for everything in our lives, we need to ask GOD and HE is always listening.  If we ask for the wrong things and they are not in GOD's plan for our lives, we will NOT get them.  However if we are asking for the right things and for the right reasons, we will definitely get them.

The other thing that is most often not talked about in this verse is the FAITH in GOD.  If we have faith as small as a mustard seed, we can achieve anything we want in line with GOD's will for our lives.  Our faith lets us down.  

Jesus said we can move mountains if we have such small faith.  The thing here is to ask GOD for the right things for the right reasons and then to have the faith that GOD will give it to us. 

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU for YOUR immense grace and kindness.  I thank YOU for YOUR generosity and for YOUR love.  I thank YOU for the life of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Saviour.  Today FATHER I humbly ask that YOU become the centre of my life.  I ask this in Jesus Holy Name.  Amen.

Seek first the Kingdom of GOD!

Let us first seek the Kingdom of GOD.  GOD first, GOD last and GOD forever.  Let us not worry about the earthly things, what we shall wear or what we shall eat or where we shall live.

Let us as children of the Living GOD put our complete trust in HIM today.  Let us bow down and worship HIM and praise HIM.  HIS love and mercy endure forever.  

Thank GOD today for the gift of our lives and the lives of all those on earth.  Let us thank GOD for all that we have no matter how great or how small.  Let us thank GOD for our health, whether it be good or bad.  Let us thank GOD that we are alive and able to experience this time on HIS GOD given earth.

Prayer: Heavenly ABBA FATHER, thank YOU for YOUR grace and mercy.  Today I thank YOU for my life and the life of each and every person on this earth.  I thank YOU that YOU made us all, great and small.  I thank YOU that YOU breathed life into my body and that YOUR Holy Spirit lives in me.  I pray that YOU forgive me for worrying about the things in life that I should bring to YOU.  I humbly ask today that YOU forgive me as I forgive all those who sin against me.  I pray all of this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen!

Love the LORD your GOD!

Jesus, the Son of the LIVING GOD told his disciples to "love GOD with all their heart and with all their soul and with all their mind."  This is still true today.  We need to show GOD all of our love and we need to put GOD first in everything we do.  Everything we think we should defer to GOD and give our thoughts over to GOD and we need to worship GOD with all of our soul.

This way we put GOD first and we put GOD last and we put GOD in everything we do.

Let us shine the love of GOD on earth today!


Prayer: Heavenly ABBA Father, I thank YOU for my whole life and I give my life to you today.  I thank YOU FATHER, that YOU love me and that I can love YOU with my whole life.  Let me shine YOUR light on this world today.  I pray this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Wisdom

In Proverbs we read that the fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom.   This is too true when we read in Ezekiel how every time Ezekiel saw GOD he fell flat on his face.  Ezekiel realized that he was in the presence of true greatness, true power and his legs would not carry him to stand before the LORD GOD.

Each of the greatest prophets knew that GOD was Almighty, all powerful and HE is our CREATOR.

Let us learn to fear the magnitude of this GOD whom we serve.  GOD is HUGE.  HE is ever present, HE sees everything and more to the point, HE knows everything.

Let us understand that we do not serve a man sized GOD, we serve the ONE AND ONLY CREATOR GOD.  Let us celebrate having this powerful GOD on our side today.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU that YOU are huge.  I thank YOU that YOU are my GOD and I can call you FATHER.  I thank YOU for YOUR grace and kindness.  I thank YOU for YOUR forgiveness of my sins.  I forgive all those who sin against me.  I pray all of this in the Name of my Lord and Saviour, my Redeemer, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Humble ourselves before GOD!

One of the stories I love best in the Bible is the story of Ezekial.  Every time Ezekial saw GOD he fell flat on his face.

I believe that GOD is so immense, so almighty, so inconceivable to anything that we can imagine that we will do the same when we finally get into HIS presence.

Therefore Peter tells us to humble ourselves before GOD.  That GOD may lift us up in due time.  And this should be the basis of all our belief.

Our GOD is all powerful.  Nothing is too much for GOD to do or imagine or create.  After all HE created us and we are made in HIS image.  However, HE is the CREATOR and none of us can be the CREATOR, we can only worship HIM and serve HIM on earth.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I humbly ask that YOU hear my prayers and my supplications.  I thank YOU for being the ALMIGHTY.  I thank YOU that I can talk to YOU daily in prayer and that I can read YOUR word.  I thank YOU that YOU forgive my sins and that YOU grant me YOUR Grace.

I pray all of this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, my Redeemer, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Love the law of GOD!

Let us not sit with sinners or mockers.  Let us meditate on the law of GOD day and night.  So says the Psalmist.  

As children of the LIVING GOD, we are called on to evangelise and make disciples who follow Jesus.  However we should never mingle with those who mock GOD and HIS law.  Rather we should meditate on the law of GOD day and night.

So what are the laws of GOD.?  GOD wants an eternal relationship with each one of us and because of that HE sent HIS only Son to live on earth and to die on the cross so that we can all be saved and have an eternity with GOD in Heaven.

What did Jesus represent on earth?  Jesus was the persona of our GOD in Heaven.  A loving, giving, gracious GOD who wants the very best for each one of us.  A GOD who numbers the hairs on our heads.  A GOD who knows everything about each one of us, even before we were born!  Therefore let us strive to be like Jesus let us think about how best we can serve GOD.   Let us read HIS word today and pray to HIM today and love and forgive just like Jesus. 

Prayer:  Heavenly Gracious FATHER, I thank YOU for YOUR grace and mercy.  Today FATHER I humbly ask that I shine YOUR light on this earth.  Let me delight in YOUR laws FATHER.  The law of love and forgiveness and grace and kindness and humility.  I humbly pray this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Nothing is impossible for GOD!

Our awesome, wonderful GOD created EVERYTHING.  Therefore there is NOTHING that we can imagine, nothing that we know or nothing that we don't know which GOD cannot do!

This is a mind blowing thought.  When we imagine what we know, GOD knows infinitely more than we can even conceive of!

Therefore when we are thinking that something or some situation seems impossible. our GOD is capable of  doing that!

So whatever our situations seem to be, take it to the LORD in prayer, and know, know that HE is capable of doing that for us.

Ask for forgiveness of our sins truthfully, mentioning any sins that we can think of,  and truly forgive those who have sinned against us.  Trust in GOD and pray that HIS will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. And watch the impossible get done by GOD.  

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that YOU are my CREATOR and my FATHER.  I believe in Jesus Christ, my Redeemer and my Saviour.  FATHER today I beg for forgiveness of my sins and I truly forgive those who have sinned against me.  FATHER today I ask for the impossible and if it is YOUR will, so let it be done for me today.  I humbly pray this in the Holy Name of my Redeemer, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

It is the Lord we serve!

The GOD we serve has not done anything half heartedly.  When HE made the earth and the universe, it is in perfect balance.  When HE sent HIS Son Jesus Christ to earth, there is not one thing that Jesus did that can be counted as wrong.

Our awesome GOD is perfect and therefore whatever we do on earth, we need to do it with all our heart and with all our soul and with all our strength as if doing it for GOD. 

It is our GOD that we are serving.  Let us serve HIM well!

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, today I thank YOU for the small deeds done with the great hearts and done with strength, but done perfectly in YOUR powerful Name.  FATHER I ask humbly that whatever I do, I do well and that I can somehow shine YOUR glory here on earth through my humblest of deeds.  I pray this in the awesome Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, my Redeemer, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD is fa!ithful

Our GOD is a faithful GOD. HIS compassions never fail.  HE promised to redeem us from our sins and give us life everlasting and HE has done so. 

Each Easter we celebrate the life of HIS only Son Jesus Christ who died on the cross to save us from our sins.

Each morning we get up to a risen sun and a RISEN SON.  Let us never forget the HUGE compassion shown to each one of us to confirm that our GOD loves each one of us.  All we need to do is to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour.  A truly simple thing to do!

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER GOD, ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU for the life of my Redeemer Jesus Christ.  Each day I ask that YOU remember me and remind me that I am saved!

I humbly pray this in the Name of my Lord and Saviour, my Brother, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay compassionately GOD blessed today!

Meditate on the word of GOD!

In order for us to have a sound and good relationship with our FATHER in Heaven, we need to know what GOD wants for our lives.  To know what GOD wants for our lives, we need to read HIS word, the Bible.  Not only read the Bible, but meditate on it day and night and we need to be careful to do everything written in the Bible.  Then Joshua tells us that we will be prosperous and successful.

Prosperity and success is not measured in monetary terms, it is measured on works and on our deeds and on how we behave towards our fellow man.

Most people associate success with monetary wealth, however in Jesus told His disciples not to store up wealth for themselves on earth but rather to store up treasure in Heaven.

As Christians and children of the Living GOD let us read our Bibles constantly and defer to the teachings of Jesus. Let us meditate on GOD's word day and night. Let us store up treasures in Heaven rather than on earth so that our success will be measured not on this earth, but by our eternal life with GOD in Heaven.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU that I can store up treasures in Heaven and that one day I can look forward to an eternal life with YOU.  Show me how to do YOUR work on earth and guide me to be more like Jesus.  Fill me with the Holy Spirit and give me a loving, kind, generous, forgiving nature.  I pray all of this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous!

When we are righteous, and walk in the way of the Lord, the Bible tells us that the eyes of the Lord are upon us and he hears our prayers.

When are prayers are not being answered we need to have an in depth look at our lives.  Are there areas where we are sinning?  Have we not only forgiven but truly forgiven those who sin against us.  Are our prayers in line with the plan GOD has for our lives.

When we sit down and examine our lives, it is amazing if we pray to GOD to show us where are falling short, HE will help us to correct these areas.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER GOD,  I thank YOU that YOU are always near to hear my prayers.  I thank YOU that YOU always listen.  Please FATHER show me where I am falling short of reaching righteousness in my life. FATHER i pray that YOU forgive my sins as I truly forgive those who sin against me.   I humbly pray this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay wondrously and righteously GOD blessed today.  

Be compassionate to one another

Jesus was compassionate.  He forgave sins as easily as saying "Your sins are forgiven".  He would not condemn the woman caught committing adultery.  He merely told her "to go on her way and sin no more!"

And we are to be like Jesus on earth.  Showing deep compassion and caring towards each other.  Loving one another as Jesus loves each one of us, no matter who we are or what sins we have committed.

We are to forgive one another readily.  We should never hold a grudge as this is sin. 
Therefore today let us all think about people whom we hold a grudge against and let us forgive them, not offering lip service but thinking in our hearts that we truly forgive them as we expect to be forgiven.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, today I forgive all those who have sinned against me.  I humbly ask that YOU forgive my sins today FATHER.  I love YOU FATHER and my Redeemer Jesus Christ.  I ask all this in the Holy Name of my Redeemer, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Saved by Grace!

Jesus died to save us all from our sinful lives.  We are born in sin and without the Grace of GOD we will die in sin!

GOD gave us HIS grace before the beginning of time.   Jesus was with GOD in the beginning (John 1:1), nd HE came down to earth to live as a mere man, to be crucified (offered as a living sacrifice for each one of us and all of our sins).  He died and rose from the dead to conquer the death He endured on the Cross.

Without that enormous sacrifice we would never attain the eternal life with our FATHER in Heaven, GOD.

So today, let us draw close to Jesus and sing His praises and thank Him and thank GOD for HIS enormous love of each one of us.  There is no sin that GOD cannot forgive.  Nothing is impossible for HIM.

Let us confess our sins and tell GOD that we are sorry and that we forgive all those who have sinned against us.

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU for Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for me.  I humbly pray today FATHER that YOU forgive my sins as I forgive those who sin against me.  I pray all of this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen!

Abide in me!

Jesus tells us in the Book of John, "if you remain in Me and My works remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you."

What a glorious statement to make.  Jesus is telling us that we need to "remain in Him."  In other words we need to stay centred in Jesus.  If we do this and hold fast to the works of Jesus, we can ask for whatever we wish and it will be done for us1

There is no GOD above our GOD.  There is no person on earth with more compassion and love and graciousness than our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  

And all that GOD and Jesus ask is that we remain in them and that our works remain in Them.  And we can have whatever we ask for and it will be done for us!

Today let us dwell on abiding in Jesus and centre our lives in GOD and become one with the Holy Spirit who lives in each one of us!  Let our works remain in Jesus today!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU for Jesus Christ and that I can abide in Him.  I thank YOU for my Counsellor, the Holy Spirit who lives in me.  I thank YOU for YOUR enormous love me.  Today I humbly ask FATHER that I always abide in YOU.  I pray this in the Holy Name of my Redeemer, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Out of the darkness, into the LIGHT!

We are all born into sin.  This came about through Adam and Eve, sinning and being banished out of the Garden of Eden.  GOD set his Angel to guard the Garden of Eden with flaming torches so that we could not return.

We are all sinners and fall far short of the perfect standard set by the Light of world, Jesus Christ.  Through Jesus, the Light of the world, we are brought out of the darkness and we can all bask in His glory.

We are saved by the Light of the world.  Our awesome, wonderful GOD gave us back the light and it is up to each one of us to accept the Light and follow the light , Jesus Christ, towards eternal life.

Jesus said " I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, no one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6).  

Today, let us accept the Light and the Life of the world as our Saviour and move away from the darkness and into His glorious Light.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that YOU sent me the Light of world to be my Saviour.  I thank YOU that I can be forgiven of my sins.  I pray today FATHER that as I forgive those who have sinned against me, so YOU will forgive me and let me follow the Light of the World, Jesus Christ.  I humbly pray this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ... the Light of the world.  Amen.

I am the vine!

"Apart from me, you can do nothing!"   How true this is.  We as human beings often think that we can do things on our own.  Then we the plan comes unstuck and we run to Jesus and ask for His help.

However, if we live our lives "IN Jesus", with our plans centred on GOD and Jesus and the Holy Spirit; if we take our plans to them, before we start, we have a much better chance of success.

We need to pray about everything.  And we need to pray before the event rather than after it.  This is a life lesson that all Christians need to learn.  And then we need to wait, just like the farmer waits for the vine to make the grapes, we need to wait for GOD to answer our prayers.  We need to learn to look for the signs that GOD gives us or hear HIS voice telling us which way to go, before we go ahead.

Let us pray to our awesome FATHER in Heaven about everything!

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU that YOU are always there for me.  I thank YOU that I can ask YOU about anything and everything.  I thank YOU that always listen to my prayers.  FATHER, today I humbly pray that YOU always send me signs and that I can always hear YOUR voice.  I pray this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, My Redeemer, my Vine, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

My sheep know My voice!

Jesus loves us!  He wants to save each one of us.  In order to do that, we have to know Him.  We have to have a relationship with Him.  

That is why in John Chapter 10: Jesus says, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them and they follow me!"  What a privilege to know Jesus.  To be a disciple of Jesus and to be a child of GOD with Jesus.

Let us foster and nurture our relationship with Jesus.  The best way we can do this is to emulate Him.  Be loving and giving and kind and patient and love the LORD GOD with all our hearts and with all minds and with all our strength.

Let us pray each and every day to be like Jesus so that He knows us and we know Him.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER I thank YOU that I have Jesus in my life.  I thank YOU for sending Him to earth to live here and die for me so that I can look forward to eternal life with YOU and with my Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Fill me with the Holy Spirit so that I can be like Jesus.  Loving and kind.  Generous and patient.  Forgiving and living like He did here on earth.

I pray all this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The Good Shepherd!

Jesus is our GOOD Shepherd.  He laid down His life so that we might have an eternal life with GOD our FATHER in Heaven.

Greater love hath no man than that He should lay down His life for us!

We are the sheep of Jesus.  He wants each and every one of us to be saved.  He hunts all night and all day to save the lost sheep.  We can help Jesus by spreading the good news that we have a Saviour.  Our Redeemer lives!  Spread the news today.  Let us go out and tell people that GOD loves them and that Jesus loves them.

When we say goodbye to people let us end off by saying "GOD bless you."  or "Jesus loves you".

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU all day and every day that I have Jesus in my life.  I pray FATHER that YOU give me opportunities to do good and to spread the love of Jesus throughout this world.  I pray all of this in the Holy Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen!

Scapegoat!

In the old Testament of the Bible, when Moses went up on Mount Sinai he was given the ten commandments.  Leviticus is the Book of laws pertaining to the laws that the Jewish people had to adhere to.

One of the things that happened was that the priests, when offering their sacrifices, put all the sins of of the people onto a "scapegoat".  This goat was then sent out into the wilderness as a sin offering to GOD to atone for the sins of the people.

When GOD sent Jesus, Jesus is known as the "lamb of GOD".  He came down to earth to be a living sacrifice for our sins.  

We can get our sins forgiven if we will confess our sins.  Ask GOD for forgiveness and believe in Jesus Christ as our Redeemer.  Today let us do this.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD. today I confess my sins to YOU. I humbly ask that YOU forgive my sins as I forgive those who have sinned against me.  I pray all of this in the Holy Name of my Redeemer, Lord Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Lamb of GOD!

Jesus brought us out of sin.  He became the living "scapegoat".  He is therefore referred to as the "Lamb" of GOD.  When we think about lambs, we think about purity and that is exactly what Jesus represents.

The pure love and the pure forgiveness and the pure grace of GOD.  GOD gave us a living sacrifice to cleanse us from our sins.

How awesome and wonderful is the FATHER GOD whom we serve.  Let us love HIM today and offer up our gratitude.  Let us sing HIS praises.

Prayer: Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU for YOUR enormous grace in sending YOUR only Son Jesus Christ to die for me.  I thank YOU that through my belief in YOUR Son Jesus Christ, I can have eternal life.  FATHER today I ask that YOU forgive my sins as I forgive all those who have sinned against me.  I pray this in the Holy name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay lovingly GOD blessed today!

I am the WAY!

Jesus told His Disciples : "I am the way and the truth and the life.  No one comes to the FATHER except through me". 

This is the DIVINE Truth of our GOD.  HE sent HIS Son to earth.  To live here and die here and be raised from the dead.

Without a belief in Christ Jesus, there is no way to get to the FATHER.

This does not mean that we are judging those who do not believe this.  Rather our mission is to tell them this GOOD NEWS!.

Let us go out today and spread the good news.  Believe in Jesus Christ as our Redeemer and the Son of GOD and be saved!

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER GOD, I thank YOU that I believe in YOUR Son Jesus Christ.  Give me opportunities to spread this good news.  I humbly pray this in the Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Stay Blessed in Christ today. 

Let not our hearts be troubled!

Jesus, when He left was about to leave His disciples told them.  "My peace I give to you.  I do not give as the world gives.  Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid!"  

What a wonderful GOD and Lord we serve.  Jesus only had a little time left with His Disciples and He wanted to comfort them.  So He gave them His peace.  And the peace of GOD transcends our understanding.

It is a very strange thing, but when we truly trust in GOD we have perfect peace.  Even in the midst of our darkest times, we experience a peace which is hard to fathom.

Let us draw close to our awesome GOD and our Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Let us bask in Their Glory and pray to them unceasingly and let us enjoy that perfect peace.

Prayer:  Our HEAVENLY FATHER, FATHER of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Thank YOU for YOUR perfect peace.  Thank YOU FATHER that I can lean on YOU knowing that YOU are always with me.  Thank YOU for YOUR Son, Jesus Christ.  Thank YOU for giving me a Redeemer to carry all my sins.  I pray all of this in the wonderous Name of my Lord and Saviour, my Redeemer, Jesus Christ.  Amen.
