When we become children of GOD, we are co heirs with Jesus. In other words, we share in the Kingdom of Heaven and Jesus has gone ahead to prepare a place there for each one of us who have chosen to follow Jesus.
However, if we admit that we are sinners, believe in Jesus as Lord and confess this truth with our mouths, this is not enough.
Our lives must change. True repentance means that we change our minds. All of the above are not befitting a child of GOD.
It can only be Jesus. There can be no half hearted approach. It is an all or nothing. And it is Heaven or hell.
So let us not worry what we will eat, or what we will wear. Let us not worry about where we live. Let us rather worry about the things that cause us to stumble and to fall away from Jesus.
Take hold of our thoughts. Capture the evil seeds before they take hold. Reject all of the above. These are the things which will end us with us being in hell rather than being in Heaven with Jesus. It must be all about Jesus - nothing else!
Prayer: ABBA FATHER I thank YOU that I am a child of YOURS. I humbly pray that YOU continually send the Holy Spirit to fill me up. I pray that YOU let me grow in the fruits of the Holy Spirit living in me that I may shine YOUR light here on this very dark earth. I pray this in Holy Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
