Repent!

 The topic of repentance is on my heart.  If we are not sorry that we have sinned and we do not ask GOD to forgive us, we are simply not forgiven.

Do we really want to arrive in Heaven only to find out that we have believed that we have not sinned.  For the Bible tells us that all have sinned and all fall short of the glory of GOD (Romans 3:23).

There is not one who is good amongst.  

The grace of GOD is one thing.  And repentance quite another.  GOD offers us a chance to have Jesus stand in our place to get us into Heaven.  But our FATHER is righteous and just and a righteous and just FATHER cannot simply overlook sin.

Today, if you believe that you are Christ follower, repent.  Turn away from sin.  Beg GOD to forgive you.  For without that you might end up in Heaven and Jesus tells you to leave because He never knew you.

Good works are not getting us to Heaven.  Grace through faith is getting us into Heaven.  Spending eternity in Heaven is by admitting that we are sinners and by asking GOD to forgive us and then turning away from sinning.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I am a sinner.  Show me where I am sinning and forgive me for sinning.  FATHER I accept Jesus as my Redeemer.  Fill me with YOUR Holy Spirit and convict my sinful ways so that I no longer sin.  Let me shine the light of Jesus on earth by walking in the way of Jesus rather than in the ways of a sinner.  I humbly ask this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.
