Dearest friends, let us choose Godliness with contentment.
We need to be contented with what we have. When we become children of GOD and become true Christ followers, we need to strive to be more Christ-Like.
If we think on the life of Jesus on earth for a minute. Jesus did not have a home of his own. Jesus moved from place to place ministering constantly.
Jesus did not want for anything. We do not read that Jesus was materialistically inclined at all.
And yet GOD provided all that He needed.
So, too, we need to trust in GOD. We need to let the things of this earth grow dimmer and dimmer.
Prayer: ABBA FATHER, tonight I humbly pray that you make me more like Jesus and give me contentment with what I have. I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
