The Bible is very clear, Jesus ascended into Heaven and He sits at the right hand of God our Father. What is also told to us is that Jesus will come again to this earth.
As Christians, we know this. What we do not know is the time or the day. Therefore we need to be ready at all times. Let us not put off knowing God, knowing His word and speaking to Him every day.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You that You forgive our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Thank You that we can have a deep relationship with You. Thank You that we can read our Bibles and learn Your word. Today Father, please help me to be ready for Jesus' s second coming, no matter where or when. I pray this in the name of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen.
