As we enter into a lockdown situation in most parts of the world, let us be mindful of GOD and let us look to our FATHER in Heaven to guide us as to what we do with this time we are going to have.
Have we been so busy with life that we have rushed about and achieved - what? Have we reached out to our FATHER in Heaven to ask HIM to help us prepare for our life of eternity with HIM.
I do not think that there is one person who has not considered that we may all have the coronavirus. And we may get sick and die, or we may have no symptoms or we may just get a little sick. Whatever we are feeling, let us take this to our FATHER in Heaven and ask HIM to shine HIS light, HIS Son Jesus in our lives.
Let us make time to read our Bibles and connect with our FATHER. Let us speak to our FATHER in prayer and thanksgiving for this time of rest and reflection. Let us consider others and be mindful of the suffering of the sick and the dying. Let us pray for their salvation.
But most of all, let us dwell on the hereafter and be certain that if our Saviour, Jesus Christ arrives in the clouds, we are going home with HIM to be with our FATHER in Heaven.
Prayer: ABBA FATHER, tonight I cry out to YOU. FATHER give me the wisdom to spend this time wisely in walking with YOU and in talking with YOU and with getting to know YOU more. I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
