Song of Solomon 2:11 “For behold,
the winter is past; the rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth,
the time of singing has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our
land.”
As we feel the warmth of the first days of spring and we see the buds
opening, we know that soon the rains will come.
All the seasons are God’s wonderful creation. Without the cold of winter, the wheat will
not harden and without spring rains the crops will not survive. Without the summer heat, we cannot hope to
reap.
We need to tell people the good news about our Creator, God. We need to know that God created all of this
so that we could thrive on this earth so perfectly created by Him.
We need to care take the earth and all its inhabitants. That is our
purpose on earth. To give glory to God
and to spread the word that God is great and His grace is amazing. God sent his only Son to die for us to save us
so that we could spend eternity with Him.
Prayer:
O Ancient of days, our Father in
Heaven. We thank you Father that you
have created such a perfect world for us to live in. We thank you for the seasons and we thank you
for our lives. We pray today Father that
through our words and our actions, we are able to spread the news that Your
Grace is immense and that everyone who calls on the name of Jesus and believes
that He is Your son will be saved. We
pray this in Jesus Name. Amen.
