John 6: 35 "Then Jesus
declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry,
and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
Jesus is our Saviour. When we
believe that He is the Son of God, our creator and we understand that without
Him we will surely die, then we begin to understand that indeed without Him we
will “starve” to death.
When we live our lives in the fullness of the knowledge of Jesus it becomes a life worth living. We are then assured that one day when we die to this earth, we too will be born into Heaven
and be reunited with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
So let us today make sure that we “eat” of the bread of life and know that
we are saved.
Prayer:
Gracious Father in Heaven, thank you
that gave us Your Son Jesus Christ so that we might live and have eternal
life. Thank you that You are a gracious,
loving and forgiving God. Father today
be with us and give us your peace. We
pray this in the name of our Lord and Saviour Christ Jesus.
