Without love, we are clanging cymbals!

 

We need to have love.  Love for GOD our FATHER, love for Jesus Christ, Love for the Holy Spirit, love for ourselves and love for one another.

Love encompasses all.  Love conquers all.  When we love, we cannot be malicious, vengeful, angry or dissatisfied.  When we love, our hearts are softened.  When we love we yield ourselves to the needs of wants the one we love.

That is why the order in which we love must be GOD, then ourselves and then one another.  Loving ourselves is often difficult.  But we need to remember that GOD created us in HIS image and therefore, if GOD loves us so, then we need to love ourselves also.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, show me how to love more. Show me especially how to love myself and how to love others.   I pray this in the Holy name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.
