As children of GOD we need to look after our eternal life rather than to be concerned about the things of this world. This world is ours for a really short time. Eternity is where our hearts and minds should focus.
So as the Paul tells us in his letter to the Romans, we should not conform to this world, but rather we need to transform by renewing our minds.
How can we renew our minds? We can start by reading our Bibles daily. We can start by praying when we wake up and praying when we go to sleep. We can pray to GOD in thanks for our meals. We can talk to GOD about each and every thing that crops up in our daily lives. We can attend Church and attend Christian gatherings. We can speak to like minded people about GOD.
The more we exercise our minds, the greater our hearts will fill up with the Holy Spirit and we will start to see the things of this world growing strangely dim.
Prayer: ABBA FATHER, guide me to transform and grow to be more like Jesus. I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
