As followers of Jesus Christ, we need to shine His light on this ever darkening world. And that means trying to be more like Jesus each and every day.
We cannot be hard of heart. We cannot judge one another and most of all we need to be kind to each other.
In this verse, Paul calls on followers of Christ to put away all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor and evil speaking. He calls on the believers in Jesus not to treat each other maliciously.
This verse is so applicable today when so many people people claim to be Jesus followers, but they so easily slander each other. They are malicious. But most of all their hearts are hard to each other.
GOD reads our hearts. GOD knows what we are thinking. And most of all we will be judged by our hearts.
Let us humbly come before GOD and ask that HE makes us tender hearted to each other.
Prayer: ABBA FATHER, I humbly ask that YOU read my heart and if it is hardened, I would ask that YOU soften my heart to all the people of this earth. Let me not pick and choose to whom I will be tender hearted. I humbly pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
