Jesus, the bread of life!

 When we read this passage, do we fully comprehend the whole miracle.  As well as that there is other phrase which is "Jesus is the bread of life".  This is found in Matthew 6 when Jesus says that whoever comes to Him shall never hunger.

And true to His word, Jesus fed the masses from 7 loaves and a few fish.

And they took up seven baskets of leftover food.

What do we get from this passage, apart from the truly miraculous feeding of so many people with so little food?

What I get is that if we put all our trust in Jesus, we will never hunger or thirst.  And here I am not talking about food and water, I am talking about our souls will never hunger or thirst.

So many people say that they are searching for answers.  But if we know Jesus, Jesus is the answer.  Jesus truly is the only Way, the only Truth and the only Life.  Whoever comes to Jesus and takes Jesus as their Redeemer, gets eternal life with the FATHER in Heaven.

So today, if you have not made the decision, I implore you, do not delay.  Accept Jesus and accept eternity spent in Heaven.  

Oh, and while you are here on earth, you will never ever be alone again.  The Holy Spirit comes to dwell in you and Jesus takes up residence in your heart.  You will always have company.  

You can go to the FATHER directly, through the blood of our Saviour, spent for us and our sins on the Cross of Calvary.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU so humbly for YOUR tender mercies and YOUR grace given freely to me through my belief in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour.  

I humbly ask that today, YOU forgive my sins as I forgive those who sin against me.  

I ask that YOU fill me anew with YOUR Holy Spirit.  Give me wisdom today.  I pray all of this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.
