Dear Christ followers, this verse is so beautiful. Don't we all sometimes feel that we labour in vain and we are heavily burdened. Speaking to people about the situation in South Africa with all the load shedding, I cannot help noticing that people are feeling extremely low and heavily burdened.
What we need to do is to take this to Jesus.
Only in the peace and humility of Jesus Christ, will we find rest for our weary souls.
Jesus is the Way. Jesus is the Truth and Jesus is definitely our Light.
Most of all, Jesus is the Life - the eternal way to GOD. The only way to GOD.
And if we go to Jesus, we will find rest for our weary, heavily burdened souls.
Today, let us take Jesus up on His gracious offer and give over all our troubles to Him. He is far better equipped to handle them.
Prayer: ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU for Jesus Christ. I thank YOU that I can bring all my troubles to YOU and hand them over to YOU knowing that YOU have a perfect plan for my life. I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
