Come to Jesus!

 There is only one thing in this world that is sure and that is Jesus.  Jesus tells us to come to Him when we are weary and He will give us rest.

Somehow in the chaos of this broken world, Jesus is the only faithful, true and loyal Shepherd to whom we can always turn.

Jesus cares for each one of us and He wants to be in our lives.  He wants to live in our hearts and He wants us to spend eternity with Him in the presence of our CREATOR FATHER.

So today, "turn our eyes upon Jesus and look full in His wonderful face, and the things of this earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace."

Prayer:  Dearest Jesus, tonight I fix my eyes upon You.  You are the only true and faithful GOD upon whom I can always depend.  I thank YOU FATHER, for sending Jesus to live in my heart.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Book of life!

GOD knew us long before we were born.  All of us are written in the Book of life!.  The day we are born and the day we will die is written.

And as true children of GOD, we are the creation of one MASTER DESIGNER - our FATHER GOD.

So we are never to worry about when we will die.  The death that we will experience, will lead us to our FATHER in Heaven.

Today, rejoice, and be thankful that we are children of the most High GOD!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that I am a child of YOURS.  I know FATHER that when I die, I am coming to live with YOU for eternity.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

More than Conquerors!

 When we live for Jesus, when we are filled with the Holy Spirit, and we are in the love of our Saviour, we are more than conquerors.  We have the armour of GOD on us and around us.

The power of our FATHER in Heaven, is immeasurable.  After all, GOD made the whole universe.  HE spoke it into being.  Can you imagine the power of that!!

Therefore, in this sinful world that we find ourselves, it is enormously important that we realize the size and magnitude of the GOD we serve.

Our FATHER can do anything! And through that belief, we can trust GOD to be with us no matter what!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, today, I thank YOU for the life YOU have given me to live.  May I be a light in this world. and may I spread YOUR word and may YOUR goodness reflect in my life.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Our FATHER is faithful!

When life lets us down and people disappoint us, we need to know but one thing.  GOD is faithful.  GOD will help us if we will just wait on HIM.

Today, if you are feeling let down and overwhelmed, pray to GOD and call on HIM to help YOU.  All you have to do is to wait on our FATHER and know that HE is in charge.  HE has a plan for our lives which is beyond our comprehension.

Our FATHER in Heaven will never leave us nor forsake us.  HE is ever present and always there in times of trouble.  All we need to do is to trust and obey.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, YOU are my rock and my Saviour.  Without YOU in my life, this life would have no purpose and no meaning.  I thank YOU FATHER that I can count on YOU always.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and my Redeemer.  Amen.

GOD is exalted above all!

 Our FATHER in Heaven is truly amazing   Nothing can compare to our GOD!  When we wake up in the morning and hear the birds singing.  When we step out in the evening and see the splendour and majesty of the heavens, we need to know that we serve a GOD so great that we are and should be in perpetual awe of HIS creation.

Everything we do, everything we are and everything we are going to do, HE knows.  HE knows our going out and our coming in.  HE numbers the hairs on our head.  HE wants a living relationship with us.  HE wants to spend eternity with us.

That is why HE sent HIS Son, Jesus Christ to earth.  To die in our place so that one day when we shuffle off this mortal coil, we can step over into Heaven.  And spend our eternity in HIS presence.

Today, accept Jesus and accept eternity with our magnificent CREATOR FATHER.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, today, I thank YOU for YOUR grace and faviour.  I thank YOU for YOUR perfect plan for my life.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Our days are numbered!

 GOD knew us before we were made.  GOD ordained the number of our days and wrote them in HIS book.

With this knowledge, we need to get right with GOD today.  And the only way to do that is through our total acceptance of Jesus Christ as our Lord and our Saviour.  There is no other way.  

Today, admit that we are sinners.

Believe in our hearts that Jesus Christ is the Saviour, the Way the Truth and the Life.

Confess this truth to GOD and be filled with the Holy Spirit.

Prayer:    FATHER I admit that I am a sinner.  I believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and my Saviour.  I confess this truth with my mouth.  ABBA FATHER, fill me with YOUR Holy Spirit tonight.  I pray all of this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Jesus is the only Truth!

 When people say that all people who believe in GOD believe in the same GOD, no matter their Religion.  This is simply not the truth.  This is a lie.  

If the god you serve, did not send HIS Son Jesus to this earth to die for your sins on a cross and to rise again after the third day.  If your god's Son did not ascend into Heaven, then you are not serving the same GOD that I am serving.

Let us be really clear tonight.  GOD, my FATHER in Heaven is gracious.  Not requiring good works to get into Heaven.  Not requiring us to do anything except to, admit that we are sinful and to ask for forgiveness, to  believer in and to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and our Saviour and to confess this truth with our mouths.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that YOU are my Lord and my Saviour.  I thank YOU for Jesus Christ, my Redeemer.  I admit that I am a sinner and I beg YOUR forgiveness.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The greatness of our GOD!

 In the verse above, Samuel starts off with the words :Therefore YOU are great".  Just think about all the "Therefore our GOD is great" that we have heard with our own ears.

I am truly amazed so often by the power, the beauty and the majesty of the creation of our earth.  When I behold a beautiful sunset, or an amazing sunrise, when I see a new moon or a full moon.  When I see the leaves melting off the trees in colours ranging from gold to red to copper and all the colours in between.  When I hold a new born baby.  When I see the light in my loved ones eyes.  

The beauty and majesty of GOD abounds.  HIS love, HIS grace, HIS mercy is limitless.  And we have been given all of this.  It is ours to use and to have.  Nothing has been spared that is beautiful.  The birds in the trees, the seas, the rugged mountains.  We have it all.

So today, in awe and gratitude, I come before my FATHER to worship HIM.  To adore HIM.  But most of all to praise HIM and the thank HIM from the bottom of my heart for giving me this world to live in.  I am truly blessed.  Thank YOU FATHER.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ that YOU put on this earth.  That YOU gave me the family that I have.  That YOU gave me the friends that I have.  I thank YOU for the life that I have to live.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD's plan is perfect!

 Often you hear people say, "I need to find my purpose in life".  The best and only purpose worth anything, is the purpose GOD has for our lives.

Nothing that we can plan can ever match the glory, timing and result of GOD's plan for our lives.  

To be able to get to GOD's plan for our lives, we need to relinquish our free will and our controlling ways to GOD.  We need to bow down to our FATHER in Heaven and say to HIM. "Today FATHER, my life is in YOUR hands".  We need to give over completely and then to trust in GOD to bring the best plan together for our lives.  This is the only way.

When we go around doing what we want, when we want and how we want without consulting with GOD first, it is usually a disaster.  And with good reason.  We do not have the insight of what is happening right around the world and in the lives of others.

Therefore today, go to GOD.  Take all our plans to HIM and ask HIM to divinely intervene.  Then trust HIM.

Prayer:  Dear FATHER GOD, YOU know me much better than I know myself.  YOU sent Jesus to die for my sinful, selfish nature.  I thank YOU for this.  Now, today, I relinquish the control of my life into YOUR Hands.  I trust YOU, FATHER to show me how to do the best I can to achieve YOUR purpose on earth.  YOUR will be done FATHER, not mine.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Happy are those whose trust is in GOD

 Once again today, I have found that the only thing in this world that I can truly put all my trust in is GOD.  GOD is faithful.  GOD keeps HIS promises.  GOD loves us and HE wants the very best lives for each and every one of us.  But there are lessons to be learned and the greatest lesson on earth is the fact that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life to eternal happiness with our FATHER in Heaven.  There simply is no other way.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that YOU are true and faithful.  I thank YOU that YOU are gracious, loving and forgiving.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

 If we hope in GOD only, we will renew our strength.  We will not grow weary.

Some days we are weary.  Weary of the problems of this world.  Weary of the day to day problems that arise.  Then we need to turn to Jesus.  And we need to place our hope in Him.

God is our refuge and our strength.  An ever present help in times of trouble.  And we need to turn to GOD and ask GOD to help us.  To carry us through our times of trouble.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that YOU are always with me and that through any trouble, I can always rely on YOU to be with me and to carry me through.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD's promises!

 GOD will keep all HIS promises.  GOD promised Moses to help him to lead the people out of Egypt and into the promised land.  And Moses did.  GOD promised Moses that he would die before the people went into the promised land.  And Moses died.

There are countless Bible verses and countless stories of the promises that GOD has made - and kept.  

GOD has promised us that whomever believes in Jesus, will not die but will have eternal life.  I believe this. 

Today, I would encourage you to take Jesus as your Lord and Saviour.  

GOD says that if we ask for forgiveness, HE removes our sins as far as East is from West.  And I know that my faithful FATHER forgives, if we will just ask.

Today, I would encourage you to ask GOD to forgive your sins.  I know HE will.

GOD promises that whomever confesses with his mouth that Jesus is Lord, will be saved. 

Today, I would encourage you to confess this truth - and be saved.

GOD is love and HE keeps all HIS promises.  I know that Heaven with GOD is going to be wonderful place.  Choose life today!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, today, I would ask that all reading this blog admit that they are sinners and ask for YOUR forgiveness.  FATHER I am a sinner and I humbly ask that YOU forgive my sins.  FATHER, I would pray that all reading this believe that Jesus is our Redeemer.  FATHER I take Jesus as my Lord and my Saviour.  FATHER I would ask that all reading this confess this truth with their mouths.  FATHER I confess that Jesus is the only way to YOU, the only truth and the only life.  I pray all of this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

How great is our GOD!

Our FATHER in Heaven is truly amazing.  HE gives us HIS grace freely.  HE gives us HIS love freely and all we have to do is to accept this. 

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER,  I give thanks for YOU in my life.  I give thanks for YOUR love, YOUR grace and most of all, YOUR forgiveness.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart!

 Today and every day, let us trust in our FATHER in Heaven.  Nothing is too big or too difficult for our FATHER in Heaven.

When we lean only on GOD and not on our own understanding, the things of this world are easily overcome.  When we try to do things in our strength, our strength will ultimately fail us.

Today, I come before my FATHER with the most grateful heart.  My FATHER has been with me for the last years, day and night.  Not once has HE let me down.  So tonight I bow before my FATHER in Heaven with an attitude of gratitude.  I bow before my KING, with my whole heart and I will not lean on my own understanding but on my FATHER only.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU for giving me hope.  I thank YOU for giving me love and kindness.  I thank YOU for giving me the strength to carry on and I thank YOU for carrying me through my life.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ,  my Lord and my Saviour.  The Messiah.  Amen.

Believe in Jesus!

 We can overcome the world.  We can live with our FATHER in Heaven.  Jesus Christ has run the race and overcome the world.

Jesus was born as a man.   He came to earth and gave up His deity to take on the persona of Humanity.  But Jesus was NOT born of sin.  His mother had no carnal relations to conceive of Him.  

The Holy Spirit came upon her and she conceived and gave birth to Jesus.  Jesus lived on earth and no where can it be shown that Jesus sinned.  So sinless, He was mocked, beaten, spat upon and finally tortured to death on a cross.

Why?

So that you and I have been given the chance to live in Heaven.  

It is so simple.  Admit that we are sinners.  Believe in the Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Confess this truth with your mouth.

And overcome death and this world and live in eternity with GOD our FATHER in Heaven.

Why did GOD do this .... because HE loves you and HE loves me.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that YOU love me.  I thank YOU that through Jesus Christ, I can overcome this world.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

To GOD be the glory, great things HE has done!  I thank GOD our FATHER tonight for the richness of HIS blessings in my life.  GOD is great!  GOD is powerful and GOD conquers all.

We need to right size our GOD.  NOTHING can compare to GOD.  Nothing we can imagine or dream or think even comes close to the power and majesty of our FATHER in Heaven!

But we also need to come before our FATHER with an attitude of gratitude.  GOD

Prayer:  ABBA ABBA FATHER, tonight I cry out to YOU and worship YOU.  Powerful, mighty and gracious FATHER.  I thank YOU for all that I am, all that I have and all that YOU have given me.  I thank YOU in the Holy name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

The LIGHT came into the world.

 Jesus came to bring eternal life to us all.  In the light, there is no darkness.  Jesus was and is pure and Holy.  In Him, there is no sin.

Unfortunately, we are born into sin.  Through Adam and Eve and their sin, sin entered into the world.

The main thing about sin is that we always want to hide our sin in the "Darkness".  Therefore   when we expose sin, we bring it into the light.

Through Jesus, our sins are exposed and were placed upon His head and body on the Cross of Calvary.

When Jesus died, the sin died with Him, and when He rose from the dead, our sins died.  And these were not resurrected.

But if we do not accept that Jesus is the Light, if we do not accept that Jesus died for us to be freed from our sins, if we do not accept the resurrection. we reject the "light" and we continue to live in darkness - forever!

And that is the important thing.  We will remain in darkness forever.  Because we are not born for life on this earth only.  We are born for eternity.  Therefore our salvation is eternity.

Today, if you have not done so, I would urge you to confess that you are a sinner.  As indeed, am I.  I would urge you to believe with all your heart and with all your soul that Jesus is the Redeemer and that the only way to eternity with GOD is in this belief.  I would urge you to confess this truth with your mouth.

This is the ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, as the time closes in on all of us living on this earth, I would pray with all my heart that anyone reading this who has not done so is overcome by YOUR Holy Spirit and takes Jesus Christ as their Lord and their Saviour tonight.  I would pray that they confess their sins to YOU and that they confess this truth to YOU today.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.
