Become a new person through Jesus Christ!

 When we accept Jesus Christ as our Redeemer, we are filled with the Holy Spirit.  And this indwelling of the Holy Spirit commands us to examine our ways.

Are we carrying on as before?  Or are we experiencing that niggly little voice in our ears telling us that we are still sinning.  That voice is the Holy Spirit.  And it is commanding us to change and to become "new creations" in Christ.

We can no longer listen to the same music and enjoy it.  We can no longer watch smut on television.  We can no longer listen to bad language.  We start to feel the anguish and the pain on our soul.  That is the Holy Spirit working in us.  We can no longer walk by and see human suffering.  We feel compelled to step up to the plate.

That is how we can tell that we are now children of GOD.  If we are not experiencing these "growing pains" we are not filled with the Holy Spirit and it is time to examine whether in fact we are what and who we say we are - children of GOD!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, today I call upon YOU to give me the wisdom to examine myself through YOUR eyes.  I humbly ask that YOU fill me with YOUR Holy Spirit anew.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Believe in Jesus who is the Truth!

 Jesus is the Truth.  There simply cannot be your truth or my truth.  There is only one truth and that is Jesus Christ.

Our FATHER created the heavens and the earth and in the beginning GOD spoke the heavens and the earth into being.  Now we know that the word was Jesus.  Because in John John tells us that in the beginning was the word and the word was with GOD and the word was GOD.

And in Genesis we read that the Spirit hovered over the waters.  That is the Holy Spirit.  So right in the beginning we have GOD, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

Now Adam sinned and in so doing separated us from our FATHER in that Adam was no longer going to live in eternity in the garden of Eden.  GOD then sent HIS Son to come to earth in Human form in order to a sinless sacrifice of atonement for all of our sins for once and for all.

Through the truth, we have been set free.  And the truth is Jesus Christ!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that I have been set free of my sin through Jesus Christ.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

 Our GOD is faithful. We know that GOD will never leave us or forsake us.  Even in the darkest moments of our lives, GOD is there.

We can move away from GOD.  We can forget GOD.  We can leave GOD.  But GOD has promised us the HE will never leave us for forsake us. 

GOD is not lost.  Only we are lost.  And all we need to do to call on our FATHER in Heaven, is that we call on HIM through our Saviour and our Redeemer, Jesus Christ.  

GOD has kept HIS promise.  HE has given us a way to get back into a relationship with HIM at any time we choose.  Choose eternal life with GOD today.  Accept Jesus Christ as our Redeemer and GOD is listening to our prayers.  GOD is faithful.  And HE wants us to be with HIM forever!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, we thank YOU for YOUR faithfulness.  We thank YOU for YOUR unfailing love.  We thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD is my refuge and my strength!

 Our FATHER in Heaven should always be the first person to whom we should turn in times of trouble.  GOD knows everything about us.  HE knows our hearts and HE knows our troubles.  No one else is able to look at us and know absolutely everything about us.

So in times of trouble, turn to GOD first.  Tell HIM about your problems and ask HIM to shield you and ask HIM to show you the way.

Do this through prayer and by reading the Bible daily.  Each and every day, if you read the Bible, GOD will speak to you.  You just have to learn to listen for HIS voice.

And give up your will and ask GOD to use HIS will and not your own.

PRAYER\;  ABBA FATHER thank YOU for being my strength and my shield.  I thank YOU that YOU are my ever present help in times of trouble.  I thank YOU that I can count on YOU every step of the way.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD is master of the Universe!

 Our FATHER created the heavens and the earth. GOD is sovereign over the sun the moon and the stars.  And GOD can, at any time send HIS Son Jesus back in the clouds.

The question today is - are you ready if Jesus suddenly appeared in the sky?

Is your life in order or have you been putting off accepting the fact that we are all sinners?  Do you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and your Saviour?  And will you confess this with your mouth today?

When I gaze at the magnificent sunrises and the GOD Art of the sunsets, such as we have just experienced, I am in awe of our FATHER.  And I know that  I want to spend eternity with our CREATOR. For I believe that Heaven will be far better than anything we have ever seen on earth.

I urge you today. Tarry not a moment longer.  Admit our sinful nature and ask for forgiveness.  Accept  Jesus as the Redeemer of our sins.  Confess this truth, for we know not what tomorrow may bring.

Prayer\;  ABBA FATHER, as I gaze upwards this evening, I know that I want to spend eternity with YOU.  I am a sinner.  I believe in Jesus as my Lord and my Saviour.  I confess this truth with my mouth. I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ .  Amen.

 Tonight I wish you all GODs richest blessings.  GOD is such a gracious FATHER.  HE is so merciful.  HE is faithful and true. 

I know my FATHER in Heaven is looking down on this earth and HE is giving each one of us a chance to come to HIM.

Now it is up to us if we stretch out our hands to reach for HIS, HE will surely not reject us. All we have to do is to talk to GOD.  We need to tell HIM that we want to be in HIS arms and we want a relationship with HIM.  We need to believe in HIS Son, Jesus Christ.  We need to admit that we are sinners and have fallen well short of the Grace which HE pours out on us. We need to confess this with our mouths. 

 Prayer; ABBA FATHER tonight I thank YOU for YOUR amazing grace.  I thank YOU for my family, for my friends, for my home and my work.  I thank YOU FATHER in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Lord is my helper

 The Lord is my helper.  Last night I spoke about this  Jesus promised His disciples that He would send His helper.  His comforter.  The Holy Spirit.

Jesus kept His promise when He said that He would never leave us or forsake us.  He will never do that.  When we believe in Jesus. When we admit we are sinners.  When we confess the truth with our mouths.  The Holy Spirit comes to live in us.

GOD, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are one.  They are the Holy Trinity.  Therefore we have GOD living in us through the Holy Spirit.  We have Jesus living in us through the Holy Spirit.  And all we have to do is to hold on to that.  Knowing that we are never alone or forsaken.  We are living with Jesus all the time..

And the best part of this is that we can talk to GOD or Jesus or the Holy Spirit at any time of the day or night.  We are never forsaken.  We have them with us all the time.

So, if today you are feeling all alone - you are not!  Talk to GOD.  Talk to Jesus.  Pick up a Bible and read the word of GOD.  You will be amazed at how GOD is listening intently for you to call on HIS power and HIS majesty!  Be amazed!!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, today I thank YOU that YOU have never forsaken me nor left me.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Our helper!

Jesus did not leave this earth without sending us a "Helper" and a "Comforter".  The Helper and the Comforter are the Holy Spirit.  When we accept Jesus as our Redeemer, we are filled with the Holy Spirit.

And the Holy Spirit indwells us.  The Holy Spirit is constantly bringing to our minds the things that we are doing wrong.  The Holy Spirit is guiding us towards a life of eternity in Heaven with Jesus Christ.

So how do we know this?  When we are not doing what GOD wants us to do, that little voice in our heads telling us not to do whatever it is we are doing or are going to do, that is the Holy Spirit talking to us and guiding us.

How do we get to recognise this?  We need to read the word of GOD daily.  We need to pray about everything and to ask for the help and guidance of the Holy Spirit of our CREATOR FATHER who has come to live in us.

Prayer;  ABBA FATHER, today, I humbly ask that YOU give me ears to hear the Holy Spirit and a mind inclined to follow the Holy Spirit.  I pray that YOU teach me YOUR ways through the Holy Spirit.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  My Lord and my Saviour.  Amen.

The Light of the World!

 Jesus wants us to shine His light on the world.  So how can we do this?  If we accept that we are sinners.  If we believe that Jesus is the Son of GOD who added humanity to His deity.  That He  to this world, born of a virgin and dying on the cross - wholly blameless - taking our sins and washing them as white as snow. And we confess this truth with our mouths, then we are filled with the Holy Spirit.  And this is the light of the world.

We cannot confess the above and not be changed.  People will see the change.  Our fruit will become evident.  Not only that, in our own lives, we will want to spend more time with Jesus.  We will want to talk to Jesus and we will want to spread His word.

When we are children of GOD, suddenly we are no longer attracted to the things of this world.  Blasphemy offends us.  We cannot tell untruths as it hurts our souls.  We become new creations.  And that is the how we shine the light of Jesus.

Today, if you have not accepted Jesus, I would urge you to do so.  If you do not believe that Jesus is who He says He was and is, and whom the Bible proclaims.  I would urge you to go on the journey to find Jesus.  Watch films like "The Atheist Delusion -  Ray Comfort".  Watch movies like "The Case for Christ"  -  Lee Strobels.  

Read your bible and pray to GOD to show you HIS light.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, open the eyes of the people reading this who have not yet found Jesus.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

And you shall know the truth!

 This is such and important teaching.  Jesus is telling His disciples that if they would hold to His teaching, they would know the truth.  And the truth would set this free.

But this teaching is true for all of us.  Even today.  When we hold to the teachings of Jesus, that we love the Lord our GOD with all our hearts, with all our minds, with all our souls and with all our strength and when we love one another, the way Jesus loves us, this is the absolute truth.  

By loving our FATHER in this manner and by loving each other in this manner, we are set free.  We are set free from hatred and sin and greed and enmity.  We are set free to follow the teachings of Jesus.  And Jesus taught us.  He is the way, the truth and the life.  No one comes to the FATHER except through Him.  

The Holy Spirit indwells us when we believe in Jesus.  When we admit that we are sinners and when we confess this truth with our mouths.  

And the Holy Spirit convicts us when we do not love one another in the manner required by Jesus.  The Holy Spirit convicts us when we do not love the Lord our GOD above everything on this earth.  This is the Truth.  And the Truth does indeed set us free.  It frees us from carrying the burden of the guilt of our sin.  It frees us to start afresh with Jesus and to walk in His ways.

Today,  I would urge you to accept the truth of Jesus Christ.  To admit that we are sinners. To believe in Jesus as our Lord and Saviour and our Redeemer.  And to confess this truth with our mouths.  

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that I can know the truth of Jesus Christ.  I thank YOU that YOU sent the truth to me to set me free from eternal hell.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

We are called to the eternal glory in Christ!

 Just contemplate the above verse.  It is such a great thing to think and ponder on.  We have been called to the eternal glory of GOD through Jesus Christ.  And after we have suffered a little, Jesus will restore us to Him and not only that.  He will make us strong and firm and steadfast.

This is truly amazing!   GOD through HIS grace and mercy, has called us to HIS eternal place to be with HIM and Jesus.

So when we are facing challenges on earth, remember that this is making us stronger, firmer and more steadfast in our faith.  It is refining us to spend eternity with our FATHER in Heaven.  Praise be to GOD in the highest for HIS mercy is amazing!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU for YOUR grace and mercy.  I thank YOU that YOU are refining me to spend eternity with YOU.  I welcome the challenges, FATHER, because I know that YOU need me to be stronger, firmer and more steadfast in my faith.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Jesus is the only Truth!

 The word of Jesus is the only truth.  Today we often hear the phrase "Your truth, or my truth".  There is no such thing!  There is only one truth and that is the truth.

Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life.  No one comes to the FATHER except through me".  And that is the truth.

Jesus has given us the way to the FATHER, and there is no other way.  Not your truth or my truth.  The only way is the truth which is in Jesus.

Therefore, we are only sanctified by the truth of Jesus.  And to get to that truth we need to admit that we are sinners.  Believe that Jesus is the Redeemer.  Confess this truth with our mouths.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU for the truth that is in Jesus.  I thank YOU for YOUR grace in granting a sinner like me the forgiveness of my sins.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The Righteous will live by faith!

 The righteous will live by faith.  What exactly does this mean to you and I?  

Simply put, when we trust in the word of GOD, when we know that GOD is our Creator.  When we know that Jesus came and fulfilled all the promises made by GOD to us and when we know that when Jesus ascended into Heaven, we were filled with His Comforter, the Holy Spirit, we are secure that our FATHER in Heaven will be there for us, no matter what.

So tonight, as I lay my head down to sleep, I know that should I not wake, I am going to meet my FATHER and my Redeemer, Jesus Christ.  I know that nothing can separate me from the love of the FATHER or my Redeemer, Jesus Christ.  I know that the Holy Spirit is living in me and working in my life to make me a better person.  I know that I am being refined by GOD who sets me apart to do HIS purpose on earth.

I know that the things of this earth are growing strangely dim as I look into the wonderful Grade of our FATHER GOD.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I know that I can always depend  upon YOU.  I know that YOUR promises are true.  I know that through YOUR grace I am saved because I confess my sins.  I believe in Jesus as my only Redeemer.  I confess this truth with my mouth today.  I pray all of this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Through Jesus many will be made righteous!

 Adam sinned and brought sin into this world.  But Adam did not give us sin, we are naturally sinful which is why Adam sinned in the first place.   So none of us can blame Adam or Eve for our sinful natures.  Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden.  We, had we been there, would also have sinned.

So GOD had to give us a way out of eternal death, or rather, life in Hell when we die.  HE sent us the perfect Saviour, a blameless man.  A man who would be born of a virgin.  Not born through the will of an earthly man.  

Jesus lived a blameless life.  Tested, He prevailed.  And then He went to His death without protest so that He could take our sins with Him onto that cross.  Our sins were nailed to that cross.  And washed white as snow.

Today we can have salvation, redemption and life in Heaven.  But only if we do the following.

    Admit that we are sinners.

    Believe in Jesus Christ as our Lord and our Saviour and the only way to Heaven.

    Confess this truth with our mouths.

When we do this the Holy Spirit will come and live in us and the Holy Spirit will guide us to do the right things and to know when we are sinning.  We cannot claim to be saved and then continue to sin. 

That is blasphemous to the Truth and the Righteousness which is Jesus Christ. 

Today please accept the above and take it to heart.  Repent and be saved!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I pray that YOU would fill each person who is reading this today with YOUR Holy Spirit.  Guide them to accept that Jesus is the Only Way the Only Truth and that He is the Eternal life.  I humbly pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Fix our eyes upon Jesus!

 Jesus is the perfecter of our faith.  Our faith is made perfect by Jesus, our GOD, coming to earth, living as a sinless man, being tortured, crucified, died and was buried.  He overcame death and rose from the dead.  He ascended into Heaven and He sits at the right Hand of GOD our FATHER.

Following on from this, no one will enter the gates of Heaven who does not accept the fact of the Saviour Jesus Christ.  Many will claim that we worship an all inclusive GOD.  But this is not the case.

If the GOD you are worshipping did not send HIS Son to die on that cross, then I am afraid we are not worshipping the same GOD.

So let us keep our eyes on Jesus.  Our Redeemer and the Only Way, the Only Truth and the Only Life.  Let us admit that we are sinners and that Jesus has washed our sins as white as snow on that cross.  Let us believe in our hearts that Jesus is the Redeemer.  Let us confess this truth with our mouths.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, today, I humbly pray that YOU live in my heart and in my mind and in my soul.  I admit that I am a sinner and have fallen far short of  YOUR Glory.  I confess this truth with my mouth.  I pray this all in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

A new Creation in Christ!

 When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and our Saviour, we are filled with the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit creates in us a new person.  It is a change that should be obvious to all.  We will no longer use bad language, we will become more tolerant towards others, treating them as we wish to be treated and our demeanor will change.

The most important thing will be evidenced is the desire to spend time with GOD.  In prayer and in reading HIS word and in having a deep and intimate relationship with HIM.

We will notice that the things of this world will grow strangely dim and that is the reflection of a new creation.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, tonight I humbly ask that YOU create in me a new creation.  Let my life be evidence of YOUR child.  That I may reflect the light of Jesus on this earth.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The Wrath of GOD!

We should all fear the wrath of GOD.  GOD is Almighty and GOD is Omniscient.  GOD is omnipotent.  GOD is omnipresent.  

And as surely as there is a Heaven and there is a Hell, GOD will punish those who are ungodly and unrighteous and who suppress the truth.

Therefore, as children of GOD, let us never be angry or try to seek revenge on our enemies.  But rather let us take all our thoughts captive and hand them over to our Righteous GOD.

GOD knows everything.  Every single wrong is seen by HIM and the Bible tells us that our FATHER will avenge.  We have to do nothing to get even.  So if you feel wronged, take it to the LORD and in prayer and let HIM deal with it. 

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, today, I thank YOU that YOU know everything and that YOU will alone are the judge of all righteousness and all unrighteousness.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The LORD directs the steps of a good man!

 As children of GOD, our steps are directed by the LORD.  HE will not allow us to be utterly cast down.  What we need to do, when the world seems to fail us, is to remember that we are in HIS Hands.  And no one has hands like the LORD.

HE made us.  HE made the world and the universe and everything in it.  We are HIS creation.  We are made in HIS image. 

So, although it seems that we have fallen down, we need to reach up and take hold of HIS Hand which is always there for us.  All we need to do to take it.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, today, I thank YOU for YOUR mighty Hands which are always there to lift me up, no matter what.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD is light!

 Once again I come before my GOD with an attitude of gratitude.  Sometimes. life seems so dark and everything seems to be against us.  And then when we call on GOD, the LIGHT shines through the darkness.

Today I thank my FATHER in Heaven for HIS light.  There is no darkness in GOD, only light.  Jesus is the Light of the world.  He came to bring His light that all may live and have eternal life.

I know that when I call upon my FATHER, I am walking towards the light. 

Prayer:  Heavenly FATHER, today I thank YOU for YOUR light.  I thank YOU that there is no darkness in YOU.  I thank YOU for YOUR grace and favour.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD wants us to obey HIS commands!

 When we love the Lord our GOD and when we listen to the teachings of GOD, Jesus tells us that GOD will love us.  And even more, GOD will come to us and make HIS home with us.

Therefore, it is imperative that we follow the commandments of GOD.  We need to listen to GOD.  GOD will talk to us when we pray to HIM.  GOD will talk to us through our preachers and our teachers.  GOD will talk to us through our daily Bible readings.

Let us then make it our business to the know what GOD wants from us.  Let us read our Bibles daily.  Let us pray about everything.  Let us listen to our preachers and our teachers. Let us fill our hearts and minds with our FATHER in Heaven.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU for YOUR commandments.  Help me to keep them all.  FATHER forgive me when I sin.  FATHER send me preachers and teachers to school me in YOUR will for my life.  Come and live with me.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Praise the LORD!

 Praise the LORD.  Praise HIS Holy Name.  Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.

Our FATHER is great.  Our FATHER is awesome.  Our FATHER is gracious.  Our FATHER is mighty in power and glory.

Tonight, I come before our FATHER in a total attitude of gratitude.  Some days, we just need to know that we have to bow down to our CREATOR who has a perfect plan and who has made us in HIS image.

We need to thank GOD for HIS goodness and HIS mercy.

Prayer:  Dearest FATHER GOD, tonight, I give thanks to YOU FATHER for your goodness and mercy.  I thank YOU for my Redeemer, Jesus Christ.  I thank YOU for your infilling of me with YOUR Holy Spirit.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD's grace is sufficient!

 When we admit that we are sinners.  When we believe in our hearts that Jesus came to this earth and died for our sins.  When we confess this truth with our mouths, then only the grace of GOD can save us.

And that is sufficient.  There is nothing that we can do to add or to take away from this gift of grace.  No amount of good works can get us into Heaven.

GOD's grace is made perfect in our weakness.  GOD knows that we are sinners.  We are born sinful and are born out of sin. We sin because we are human.  We sin because we are sinners.

And because we are sinners, our weakness perfects the grace of GOD!

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that my sin is made perfect by and through YOUR grace.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of my Redeemer.  Amen

If we claim to be sinless we deceive ourselves!

 Following on from last night, where we looked at the need to confess that we are sinners, this verse, highlights the fact that if we do not admit that we are sinners, we deceive ourselves. 

If we way that we are not sinners, then the Truth, Jesus is not in us.  We need to believe that Jesus is our Redeemer.  We need to be filled with the Holy Spirit and then we are convicted.  The Holy Spirit shows us each and every time that we sin.  The Holy Spirit also reminds us of our sins that are unforgiven.  

This conviction leads us to repentance.  So we simply cannot say that we are not sinners.  For all are sinners and all have fallen short of the glory of GOD.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, fill me with YOUR Holy Spirit and convict me to know where I have sinned and also help me not to sin again and again in the same manner.  FATHER, I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  My Lord and my Saviour.  Amen.

Confess our sins!

 One thing we, as children of GOD,  simply cannot do is to ignore the fact that we are all sinners.  What we like to do, and what we usually do, is to compare ourselves to others.  But when we face GOD, we are going to be all alone.  We are not going to be judged against the sins of others.

This is a point that is often missed.  And the only way to obtain the forgiveness of GOD is to confess that we are sinners.  We may not have done what we consider to be "bad things'.  But all sin is sin to GOD who is Holy and Righteous. 

Therefore, we need to daily ask GOD for HIS forgiveness.  Or we make a mockery of HIS sending HIS only Son to die for our sins.

So today, let us , once again come before our FATHER and ask for HIS forgiveness.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, YOU know me so well.  YOU know that I am a sinner.  I know, in my heart, that I am a sinner.  Today, FATHER, I humbly ask that YOU forgive my sins.  As i forgive those who sin against me.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

We know our FATHER's voice!

Jesus tells us through the writings of John in the New Testament, that He and the FATHER are one.  No one can snatch us out of His hand.  And He also tells us that we know HIS voice.  He is the good shepherd.

Today, let us listen out for the voice of our FATHER in Heaven.  HE is talking to us and we can hear HIM because we know HIS voice.

Let us not ignore that voice in our hearts telling us the right things to do.  Let us give over our will to our FATHER and let listen to HIM and let us follow HIS path to righteousness today.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that YOU are not only listening to me but also that YOU are talking to me.  I thank YOU that I know YOUR voice and that I can follow YOU to a life of eternity with YOU.  I thank YOU in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD's plan is forever!

 We will live for three score years and ten.  So the Bible tells us in Psalm 90 verse 10.  Any years over and above that are a gift from GOD.  So we make plans for our lives and plans for our children's lives and plans for our aging parents lives.  But our plans are minute in the eye of GOD.

GOD has planned for eternity which is absolutely beyond our comprehension.  We cannot imagine one hundred years from now, let alone eternity.

So are we not better off giving all our plans over to our FATHER who can see eternity and is planning for that?

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU for my life and the time that I have on this earth.  But FATHER, I want to spend eternity with you.  Please take my plans and make them YOURS.  I pray this in the Holy name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Not my will, but THY will!

 Continuing in the theme that I started last night, we need to follow the example of Jesus when He prayed to GOD in the garden of Gethsemane, the night before he died.  He asked GOD that not His will but that of His FATHER in Heaven be done.

Our earthly natures are selfish and self centred and we cannot see the big picture which GOD has created.  And therefore it is so important that when we pray, we ask that GOD not grant us our will, but rather that HIS will be done on earth.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, tonight I thank YOU that in my life, I have seen that YOUR will is far better than my will.  Tonight, FATHER, again, I commit my life to YOUR will and I humbly ask that YOUR will be done and not mine.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD is our future!

 When we believe in Jesus as our Lord and our Saviour, we need to relinquish our free will to serve GOD and HIS will.  We need to pray to GOD about everything in our lives.  We need to pray for our future and pray for our present and pray for our past.  

GOD is our future.  HE has the perfect plan for our lives.  HE lives in our present and HE can heal our past.  There is no greater love than GOD has given us or shown us in giving us free will.  Yet we should ask that HIS will and not our will be done.

GOD will give us HIS plan if we give HIM our free will.

Today, let us bow down to the will of our FATHER in Heaven.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, today I give YOU my free will.  From this moment forward, I pray FATHER that YOUR will be done in my life.  I pray that YOU guide my heart, my head, my will and my life.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GOD wants all to come to repentance!

 When we sin, we sin against not only ourselves, but we sin against GOD our FATHER.  And GOD wants us to have eternal life with HIM.  Through sin, we are separated from GOD and we will not have eternal life with HIM.

Therefore, today, let us repent.  Let us turn our eyes upon Jesus and look full in His wonderful face.  Jesus is the only way back to our FATHER.  Jesus intercedes on our behalf and He takes the blame for our sin onto His cross of Calvary and we are set free.  What we need to do, is to admit that we have sinned, believe that Jesus is our Redeemer and confess this truth with our mouths. 

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that I have an intercessor,   I admit that I am a sinner.  I believe in Jesus Christ, and I confess that Jesus is the only Way to YOU.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.
