GOD is pure and Holy.  In HIM there is no sin.  Jesus was sinless and the Holy Spirit is sinless.

Lying is seen as one of the least of the sins.  And yet to GOD, all sins are equal.  If we lie, we are no better than anyone who breaks any one of the other of the ten commandments.

We often lie to save face or to save someone from hurtful truths.

But we are called on not to lie.  And the reason for this is that often our lies have very serious and long term implications, not only for our own lives but for those around us.

As Christians, let us make a practice of not lying to ourselves, to others and most of all, never to GOD.

We are all sinners, but not admitting this, we are liars.  And we simply cannot be savd.

Prayer:  ABBA FATHER, I thank YOU that I am able to confess my sins to YOU and I admit I am a sinner.  Forgive me FATHER. I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.
