Dearest Christ followers, our eternity is in Heaven with our FATHER. This life is transient and short in comparison to eternity.
This is why Paul advises that we not fix our eyes on the things of this earth, but rather focus on our eternity.
This does not mean that we ought not to enjoy our time on earth, but rather that we not make the things of this world our sole purpose in life.
This is why it is so important to get to know our FATHER on a personal and intimate level where we can trust in the eternal hope.
We are promised a marvelous life in Heaven. There will be no more sorrow, no more pain, no more suffering.
And the best of all, we get to spend our days with our FATHER and JESUS and the HOLY SPIRIT in Heaven.
JESUS has gone before us to prepare a place for us. I personally cannot wait to see what is prepared for us. Maranatha LORD JESUS!
Prayer: ABBA FATHER, I humbly pray that YOU fill me anew today with YOUR HOLY SPIRIT. FATHER, I pray that I keep my eyes fixed on the things in YOUR Heaven, rather than the things of this earth.
I humbly pray this in the HOLY name of JESUS CHRIST. Amen.
